Susan's words and storytelling had me glued to the pages and devouring every word in one sitting.
The new characters had me captivated, laughing, interested, and excited for what's to come for each of these guys and the series. The intertwining of some much loved characters from previous books is always loved because let's be honest no one is ready to give them up. And holy moly this story included a new dark and mysterious silver fox who I desperately hope he gets his own story one day.
This particular story is about Navy Seal Mustang and Elodie a woman on the run from the mob. Their story which is action-packed, suspenseful, sweet, steamy, and humorous will have you loving each and every character, holding your breath, sitting on the edge of year seat with anticipation, smiling, swooning, laughing out loud, and with talk of food and scenery wishing you could be in Hawaii.

This book was awesome love the characters as always with a Susan stoker book you were plunged into storytelling so detailed that you are drawn in . Loved the snippet of Tex , Rex , Silverstone and wait for it a cameo of a new character Baker (reminds me of another two authors series about loners with dark secrets) I really hope we get to see more of Baker and eventually get his back story and maybe he meets his perfect match

I enjoyed the relationship between Elodie and Mustang. It was fun to see the author bring all the series together again. I enjoyed the dual person narration as I listened in audio. I hope to see the character "Baker" in a future book

Loved!!
So happy we got to have Mustangs team stories!! Especially after they helped out with phantom and Kaylee! He was awesome and loved their instant connection and how crazy their beginning was. She was kick ass and props to her for helping out to save mustang/Scott and Midas when hiding on the boat. Cool story. Loved how the team welcomed her into the fold and protected her like their own. Can鈥檛 wait for their stories. Loved the references to Rex鈥檚 team and the mountain mercenaries series, as well as the silver stone group series and above all the great and powerful Tex!!

Il particolare che ho adorato 猫 comunque il rapporto che esiste tra i membri della squadra e mi sono piaciute le interazioni con i vari elementi che ormai sono come una famiglia per Scott. Non mancher脿 qualche individuo che gi脿 conosciamo, anche se solo citato, Midas, che mi ha molto incuriosito, e un altro che non vi dir貌 perch茅 non voglio spoilerare, ma che spero ardentemente abbia un libro tutto per s茅.
Insomma le premesse per una nuova serie di successo ci sono tutte, incrociamo le dita, intanto vi consiglio questo primo volume che pu貌 comunque essere letto singolarmente, in quanto autoconclusivo come ogni suo romanzo. Spero che ne sarete entusiaste quanto me.

*happy bounce* I love Scott & Elodie! Elodie is on the run from a former boss, who's a Boss, and insane. She refused to do something nefarious, he got mad about the rejection, & she's been on the run ever since. Of course she thinks the safest place is a cargo ship in the middle of the ocean. However...
Scott, aka Mustang, is the BA leader of a SEAL team stationed in Hawaii. Paradise, yeah? We met him & his team in Phantom's book. And of course, I'm thrilled they get their own HEAs!! Also, while reading the parts that take place in Hawaii, I kept picturing Magnum, P.I., which is one of my favorite shows (the new one - I love them both, Tom Selleck, hello!, but the new one's cinematography is AMAZING). The beauty!!!
Okay, anyway, back to the story. The action is fast-paced, and the romance is as well, but at the same time we get to really FEEL their getting-to-know-each-other time, which I enjoyed. We also get to know the team along with Elodie, and fall in love with each member all over again.
Thoroughly enjoyed this from beginning to end, and I give it a huge THUMBS UP!
Oh, also, dolphins!

Elodie was running. She changed her name to free herself from the threat of a ruthless man. In doing so she found a job...a job that would lead her to her destiny. Her destiny was Scott "Mustang" Webber. Welcome to the first of the Hawaii team.
If you are looking for a good read filled with, mystery, suspense, loyalty, lust, and just great writing...here you go. So highly recommended.

Great new series
Loved the new SEALS - great read meeting the Hawaii team. As always Susan doesn鈥檛 disappoint. So glad she has started a new series as I can鈥檛 get enough of her books. If you love Alpha鈥檚 and SEALS then she is one of the best. Can鈥檛 wait for the next book and I hope Baker gets one too.

Susan Stoker has started a new series with this book and all I can say is hot d@*n! Elodie is a chef on the run while Mustang is a very hot navy SEAL and their meet cute is during the hijacking of a cargo ship. Everything about this book is intense, from the attraction to the danger, and I loved every bit of it!

Great book!
Great start to another series for Susan Stoker!! I loved the story between Elodie and Scott. It was great to meet the new team and get to know them better. We first met them in Kaylee鈥檚 book. I love how Susan always intermixes her series. Tex, Rex and the Indianapolis crew were all mentioned here. I can鈥檛 wait to read about Midas鈥檚 story next. Love this series already.

This is a great book and the audio was done nicely. The switch between the narrators didnt bother me as other books I've heard on audible.

The story flowed so easily and was just as previous books by Susan Stoker packed with action along w romance but neither was overwhelmed. It was a great 1st book for this team.

Good grief... that... that was a total Susan Stoker fangasm.
I do love it when there are mentions or even cameo appearance from other SS series. This did not disappoint... not at all. They all made perfect sense. Made happy nods when there was a reference to another part of her 'verse. And who is Baker Rawlins? Am fascinated by him.
Now... onto this, from the start there was no let-up in the pace. It was a roller-coaster of a read and I really felt like I got to know and care about the whole team and Elodie. ( Am surprised that Tex didn't have something to say about 'Melody' being one of her aliases... ). I loved that the whole thing seemed realistic... the flow, structure... everything. Even what happened with Valentino.
It might have been just me... but was the sexing really ramped up in this one? Not complaining necessarily... but I do tend to skim read when it goes on for what seems like pages. Feels a little too voyeuristic for me I think.
I love the start of the Hawaii team series and literally cannot wait ( although, I literally have to ) for Midas's story... sighs!

Finding Elodie: SEAL Team Hawaii Book 1 is by Susan Stoker. This book starts out on a cargo ship in the Arabian Sea. Elodie Winters is a premier chef who is on the run from a mob boss in New York City for refusing to put arsenic in someone鈥檚 soup. He would probably have killed her right then; but he was in the middle of an important dinner party and he needed her. As soon as she was able, she packed a small bag and left his house. She had no family so thought no one would get hurt; but the friend in Chicago who recommended this job was killed. She headed for Los Angeles but thought that wasn鈥檛 far enough, so she changed her name to Rachel Walters and managed to get hired on a ship headed to the Arabian Sea. That should be far enough.
It might have been except that the ship was hijacked by pirates. The captain had already told the crew what to do if that happened and that was to hide. Most of the crew headed to the engine room where there were lots of hiding places. Thinking ahead and not knowing how long the situation would last, Rachel headed for the galley where she might be able to send food and water to the crews via the elevators. They all had emergency radios and were told to try to contact someone on different channels. She was able to get a navy channel where they were already planning a rescue attempt. She talked to Scott 鈥淢ustang鈥� Webber, the leader of the SEAL team. There was something about her that interested Mustang; but he could figure it out later, now he had to rescue them. Finding Elodie is the first book in the SEAL Team Hawaii series by the talented Susan Stoker. We briefly met this SEAL team in the last book in the SEAL of Protection: Legacy series and I was excited to finally start reading their stories. Scott "Mustang" Webber is the team leader and the first one of this team members to fall. They are sent in to rescue a cargo ship that has been hijacked by pirates and Mustang bonds with the woman who made a call for help. When he meets her he knows she's tough and strong, but she's also hiding something. Months later and he can't stop thinking about her and then she shows up in Hawaii looking for him. Mustang just thanks fate and jumps head first. He wants to get to know her better. There's just something about her and his need to protect and take care of her. Elodie is on the run and she's not used to anyone else being there for her. She has no family and no friends. After meeting Scott and his team, she realizes she needs help and goes to Hawaii to find him. They might be moving fast, but it feels right. Now he's her person and his team is like her family. She's still in danger, but now she has people looking out for her. She trusts them and knows they will be there for her. This is a sexy, action-packed fun story! I love the comradery and laughs between Mustang and his team. We get to see a little glimpse of everyone and I'm excited to learn more about everyone!

Wow o'Wow
Susan Stoked has set up a new series of Seals that is so good (can't put down) page turning, holding out to go to the bathroom.... Because you just don't want to miss anything.
The characters are so real you're looking to see if what's happening is all or if there's more before you're on the next page.
Love the chemistry between Mustang/Scott and Elodie, and the way the rest of the Seals are just a family. The minor characters, Kai and the rest are just as good too.
This is one deal's series that is gonna be over 5 stars 猸愨瓙猸愨瓙猸愨瓙 Susan is a fantastic author who weaves the plots of her books that they are so realistic, has your emotions scattering all around that you can't get enough.
So looking forward to this new series, where other well loved characters are back in small instances and some new characters, like Baker, who hopefully Susan has a book for him (he's so mysterious).

This is one deal's series that is gonna be over 5 stars 猸愨瓙猸愨瓙猸愨瓙 Susan is a fantastic author who weaves the plots of her books that they are so realistic, has your emotions scattering all around that you can't get enough.
So looking forward to this new series, where other well loved characters are back in small instances and some new characters, like Baker, who hopefully Susan has a book for him (he's so mysterious).

lei mi 猫 piaciuta molto nel carattere coraggioso
scritta bene la parte della pirateria coerente con la vicenda della maersk alabama, un p貌 poco credibile quella della mafia ma tutto sommato accettabile

I was excited to get and listen to this. A team out of Hawaii. How cool! Plus Elodie鈥檚 job鈥檚 are super neat...working on a Cargo ship....being the only woman..that takes guts. I really liked her and all the secrecy chasing after her. Her connection to Scott is very real and life-like. Scott aka Mustang is a typical SEAL guy. Possessive and tough but kind at heart. I liked Seeing him work on the ship..yes I liked that.
There are some fun times in here with his team as well as them getting to work together. I really enjoyed them when they hang out with Elodie. Really not how I would picture SEALs. Then when everything goes wrong near the end of the book..seeing them work their magic and care for each other is great.
Overall this is a nice story. I like the cool jobs that the author comes up with for the females in her books. I did listen to this on audio. The narration was good but left something to be desired. There are three narrators. The female was excellent. The male lead sometimes was a struggle to understand and I still don鈥檛 know all the names of his team. Jax or Jag..Slade or Slate..and I am guessing at Pid/Pig? Sometimes I heard one way and the next a different letter. While this did irritate me it doesn鈥檛 take a lot from the story since they aren鈥檛 heavily involved in the story. I could have picked all that up easily from reading the book.

Hold onto your phone, folks, Elodie and Mustang nearly melted my earbuds! Susan Stoker is an auto-buy for me, and I have been looking forward to reading the new SEAL Team books since she first teased them. I hate to abandon the San Diego SEALs but I think I've found a new favourite team of tough, tender Alphas! Elodie is a kickass heroine who has made some tough choices in order to survive. Mustang is everything you want in an Alpha hero who is crazy for his woman. I highly recommend the audiobook. The narrators are fantastic and I enjoyed the chapters in different voices. Pick up 'Finding Elodie' if you need an escape to sunny Hawaii for a love story with an edge of danger, and a team of hunky SEAL book boyfriends to keep you company!

Thrillingly sexy and sweet
El is on the run from a crazy mob boss... Scott is the man to capture her heart but can he keep her safe so they can have forever?
So we have a Chef and a SEAL... they met during a hostage situation and their attraction is instant and amazing, everyone notices and it鈥檚 not just because El is a badass who saved Mustang and Midas...lol it鈥檚 just the two of them sparks just flew off the pages it was sexy, it was sweet and a tad spicy to throw in the thrilling running from the mob angle and this book had me on the edge of my seat for a few hours and the only negative as always with Susan Stokers books is that they end way to soon... lol

Elodie and Mustang just clicked, it was instant, no explanation and everyone on his team could sense it. But for them to have a chance Elodie has to stop running and accept help, help which Mustang and his team will happily give. He wants to banish all her demons, protect her, spoil her and love her...but first he must rescue her....again!

Love it!
Susan Stoker is an awesome story teller. Her stories are believable and so entertaining. Great Characters, funny! I pre order every book she puts out! The off shoots using her characters in other Authors books are a credit to her writing and I love all the different books with all these characters! Thanks for another great read!

This is such a great story. It has romance, suspense, great guys and such a strong fierce woman. Elodie and Scott are so great together. The scenes are vividly described and the paste is fast. My heart stopped at a certain point.

Great read
Susan Stoker has done it again! Absolutely another great read, loved the characters and all the steaminess between mustang and Elodie, the twists and turns. The suspense is intense and couldn't put it down. Can't wait to see what happens with the rest of the team, and like always Susan sucks you into another world and you fall in love with all the characters. You won't be disappointed in reading this, or anything Susan's writes. Her stories are an escape from the real world, and it's something I treasure.
