This book is really funny. If you scrap or craft at all, you will totally identify with all the stories in this book. I laughed out loud several times. What's also nice is that the book is in short "snippets" so you can read a little bit at a time when you have a minute or two. As a busy mom, this aspect was great for me! Lain is a fabulous writer. You will love this cute little book!

I just have to say thank you to Lain for writing all these little snippets! So funny and all so true! It made me feel better about the stuff I do to my kids to get pictures, the lengths I have to go through to obtain and use multiple scrapbook store coupons, and the 7-year recruiting effort that ended with my best friend finally joining me as a scrapbooker. Lain, you really captured all the funny stuff that we scrappers do. I loved everything about the book and it was so fun to read!

A book has never made me laugh so much or shake my ahead in agreement so many times ever. Snippets is definitely a book that makes me laughingly say the words "yes, finally, someone understands" or look to my constantly baffled husband and say "see, I'm not the only one who does this". Lain Ehmann has a true gift, and I don't just mean with the way she wields Duck Permanent adhesive by Henkel, no Lain Ehmann has a true gift for words that make you laugh so hard you cry and your face hurts from the permanent smile. Her passionate obsession over all things scrapbooking & the self-awareness and self-directed humor she shares carries through with every word.

What a fantastic book!

Lain's wit and charm make this book a must read for any scrapper (and her/his family)! Her collection of essays in this book are both down to earth and humorous. You'll find yourself laughing out loud and sharing pertinent parts with your spouse/family. What I love most is sense of community her writing inspires. I'm not alone in my slightly (okay, totally) obsessive compulsions to scrap and photograph, well everything.

Fantastic read guaranteed that will hit home and make you laugh!

A collection of fun, brief essays for scrapbookers. This book is short enough and engaging enough that a scraping enthusiast could easily breeze through it in one sitting. It's also small enough that it can be tucked inside a purse for reading on the go. Would be a nice gift for the scrapbooker who already seems to have everything.
Did I like it? Yes.
Would I reread it? Maybe.
Would I recommend it? Probably.

This is such an adorable book that any artist will relate to. While Lain shares her passion (obsession) for scrapbooking, I could relate as a craftaholic, and I'm sure others who love knitting, beading, etc will agree that her situations are universal. The essays are swift and sharp, so comical and TRUE! We've all been there! I love this book, great job Lain!

Well I had promised myself I wouldn’t buy another scrapbook related book because nine times out of ten I never read them or am very disappointed. My only disappointment in this book is it wasn’t long enough. If you are a scrapbooker you will laugh out loud and you see yourself through her stories. It’s a must read for every scrapbooker.

I love this book. Great laughs for any scrapper! Thank you for writing this book. Maybe I will even have my 'non-scrapping' friends read it so they can understand me!

Funny, great voice, and even though I don't really think of myself as a scrapbooker, I totally had some "aha!" moments where I connected :)

Snippets is a funny, joyful book about the trials and tribulations of pursuing America’s number one hobby, scrapbooking.

If you’ve ever wielded a crop-o-dile, then you’ll find plenty to laugh about in this collection of essays about the challenges facing today’s scrapbooker. Family and friends may not understand you, but Lain does and she’ll have you looking at your addiction in a whole new way!

If you’ve got a scrapper in your life, then this book is for you too. Do you want to understand this paper hoarding, button buying, ribbon diva who’s taken over your home? Then check out the essay on “Scrapper’s Brain and be sure to read “A Room of One’s Own, to find out what your paper queen is planning on doing to the spare bedroom.

Hilarity abounds in this sweet little gem of a book, so pick up a copy today! You won’t be disappointed!

Let's get this straight. I am NOT a scrapbooker. Oh, I've make a few scrapbook pages and, yeah, it can be fun, especially when I do it with a few other friends who love to laugh, but it is not something I am passionate about. That said...I LOVE this little book! I got more than a few chuckles out of it! Any woman who has a passion for anything crafty - cooking, decorating, knitting, etc. - will love it, identify with it and laugh at it. The author is a genius!

I liked this book and laughed a lot. It is so true in my life with my husband and kids. They don't quite get my obsession with scrapbooking but the author does!! I was disappointed that it was such a small book.

It first sight I was disappointed that this was such a small book and it looked like it probably came free with a magazine. However, it was a very good read! It was very entertaining and well worth it, even in it's small package. :-)

A great, funny little book that every scrapbooker and many other creatives can enjoy. It's tiny size makes it perfect for slipping into a purse or bag and reading just a snippet when waiting--but be warned--you may find yourself laughing out loud.

I loved this collection of funny, yet frighteningly true, essays on scrapbooking and scrapbookers—especially of the female persuasion. It's nice to know I'm not alone! :-)

Cute quick read (90 minutes) about scrappbooking. You'll get all the jokes, which its full of if you scrapbook and if you don't you'll get a glimpse into the mentality behind a scrapbooker.
