She swore she would never love again, but this dragon warrior's heat might just melt her resolve...
Liberty is a widow who's come to Lachesis for a chance to raise a child and get a fresh start on a far away frontier moon. But she isn’t ready for the baby to come with Odin, an Invicta dragon warrior who has sworn to protect the child with his life. And she certainly doesn’t expect the burly warrior to awaken feelings in her that she thought she left behind forever.
When rustlers threaten her new homestead, Liberty finds herself getting much closer to Odin than she ever planned, as the two are forced to work together to stop the rustlers and protect baby Colton.
If you like strong women, hunky aliens, wild adventures, steamy sensual scenes, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love the world of Stargazer!

Odin de Tasha Black Serie Alien Adoption Agency libro 5
Argumento:
Grumpy, intense Odin is up and he's paired with a woman who's a little heartsore and a lot determined. Liberty is also slightly better prepared for her life as a farmer than Sarah was. That said, all Liberty's farming know-how comes from books, so there's still a learning curve.
You know what? I said Odin was grumpy, but I'm not sure if he was grumpy so much as extremely focused. He's also hurting and doesn't believe he deserves happiness. Which is absolutely not true, And once he shares what caused him to think this way, Liberty tells him exactly that.
As for Liberty, she's mourning her dead husband by doing all the things he wanted her to do. Which ends up working nicely for her since it has allowed her to grieve AND find herself in the process. Now she's ready to settle down as a mother to her adopted son and Odin throws her into a tailspin. Because she likes the big guy, she likes his dragon, and maybe she's ready to open her heart to more than a baby now.
A little danger, a babysitter who's worth her weight in gold, understanding neighbors, a warrior looking for peace, and a woman who challenges him in all the best ways.
I fell in love with the characters in this book! Liberty is a gentle soul who has been through so much, and Odin is a gorgeous, grumpy dragon with a tragic past he can’t shake, and sweet Colton who does what baby does best. Eat, sleep and make a mess of course! The author had so many side characters that just made me laugh, and added that little twist of reality enhancing the reading experience. I especially enjoyed the mystery and danger that these two unravel on the way to their HEA. This was a wonderful weekend read and I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
This is an awesome sci-fi romance with a touch of mystery.. I love these big warriors! It has an emotional backstory, a wonderful relationship between Odin and Liberty, and their love for little Colton.. I voluntarily received this book for an honest review.
Tasha Has written another great story Of Odin, Liberty and baby Colton. Her story is unique and adorable with a rainbow sheep herd that plays with your imagination, along with a wonderful loving dragon mate. The babies in these stories are cute and precious to keep safe. I love how they are so loved.
Was this a good book? No. Was it meant to be a good book? I sure hope not otherwise this could get a little awkward. I was in the mood for a quick, lighthearted read with a cute baby to help get over my mood reader induced book slump, and this book was exactly that.
It was easy to follow despite picking this series back up after over a year.
I liked this book & ended up not DNF-ing it purely for Liberty & cute baby Colton. She was easily likeable, smart, caring, spoke her mind & never let small things get to her. She knew when to stand her ground & assert dominance, and when to let Odin lead. Odin, however, knew no such thing. If I was rating this book solely based on him or their relationship, it would be a 2 or lower. His grouchiness was supposed to be cute, but it was actually just plain rude. Like we're in chapter 1, what's the beef sir? His reactions & reasonings for why he did what he did was giving me whiplash. I was lowkey rooting for them to break up, because she deserved better honestly.
Interesting series the series are set up, 3 book to a series and there are at least 5 sub series.. I got book 13 for free to review. . I liked it. So now I’m starting at the beginning so far I’m enjoying each series. Cute babies, gorgeous ripped muscled dragon warriors. Every 3 books has 3 warriors 3 adopted babies ( 2 males and a female) and 3 mothers each little family going off to a different area on the moon, or planet they have arrived on. Every 3 books, take place on a different moon or planet. Each family has various different transports and are about to embark on different way of life. Whether they will now become farmer, fisher, rancher, etc. The three warriors are Dragon Invicta warriors, each of them with an impressive military career. And their purpose is to protect the younglings, Long ago, the Invicta had made a terrible mistake, annihilating the gentle people of Imber in an error that would haunt their ranks forever. The intergalactic counsel had finally given them leave to make things as right as they could. Using preserved DNA from Imber, the Invicta had gestated a group of pod babies who would inherit their planet and its wealth once they were grown. As part of the deal, each baby would be guarded until the age of twenty standard years by an Invicta warrior. Serving as a guard to an Imberian youth was considered the greatest honor that could be bestowed upon a warrior And a carefully selected Women of planet Terran (similar to Earth, post apocalyptic) Are given a parcel of land or a farm and a stipend to adopt the babies, they do not know the warrior will be there for the babies to reach “of age 18-20 years . And oh somehow the warriors are paired with adoptive mothers who are their fated mates! each book is unique each MFC has a secret or a past. To overcome. And the dragon warriors. Must accept that the female is their fated mate! There are dangers on these worlds that can get them killed. The world building in this series is well developed. Characters are well defined and a well developed stories for under 30 chapters per book. HEA. No cheating, no cliff hanger just a Segway into next book. Via a sneak peek
Problems with this book
cosmic lax mutation is mentioned several times in one paragraph but not explained at all what it is. You can’t make up a medical illness and not detail what the heck it is to the reader, other than it is deadly. And they had 10 sheep stollen not 7 .. near the end of the book they are looking for the missing sheep he says there are 7 but they had 17 . And have only 7 left that means 10 were stollen! Not 7 ! Can you not count? And the ending to this book felt rushed like the author was over it already and was tired and in a hurry to go to bed or something. “But I just have to finish this book It was unsatisfying. But not a deal breaker or anything. Just felt like a let down.
I just love Tasha Black’s stories and this one did not disappoint! Odin is a red dragon Invicta warrior that was assigned a an orphan to raise along a terra female named Liberty. The heart of the story was whether a woman who has already known and lost love would willingly let herself fall again and whether a guilt ridden warrior will allow him to forgive himself to have a chance at a wonderful life with someone who is obviously his fated mate.
Odin is a great grumpy and moody hero who comes across a little full of himself in the beginning. Liberty is the polar opposite, very easy going and happy, but is both mentally and physically stronger than she appears. While they have different personalities, they have a lot more in common than it first appears. Both have anger for the losses in their lives, both immediately feel an attachment for their adopted son, Colton, and both feel an immediate chemistry with each other despite the uncomfortable feelings that come with it.
Odin is the latest book in Tasha Black’s Alien Adoption Series. It was a slow burn despite Odin knowing that Liberty was his fated mate after one touch. The chemistry between the two of them was strong throughout the book and their HEA was well fought. The storyline was cute and well written. Just a smexy, feel-good tale. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!
Captivating read, wonderful characters and setting and a very strong storyline I love the interaction between the main characters Odin who had been caring for the whelp as the invicta warrior he will look after the child until it reaches twenty years of age, doing everything possible to ensure his safety. Colton is a wonderful baby that is a pleasure to be around and who brings joy to all those that meet him, he simply seems to draw them to him and they are his friend for life. Liberty has just arrived to care for her son and she is blown away by him and her new farm and all this entails. Odin is aware that Liberty is his Fated Mate but he is reluctant to do anything about this because he has not forgiven himself for the young, dragonling that had died under his charge. He had hero worshipped Odin and even though he had saved the life of every man in his patrol the fact that he had lost one had broken him and he is not doing well. In fact, the only thing that actually helped him was being given the responsibility to care for Colton and he was so grateful for this fact, although at first, he had not believed he deserved to be taken off the front line to care for a baby. I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read. I voluntarily received and review an Advanced Reader Copy I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.
“Odin: Alien Adoption Agency #5 is the fifth book in the Alien Adoption Agency series. They are all standalone but it is enjoyable if you read the books in order to appreciate the interaction with all the characters. This story is about Odin, a fierce Warrior who is angry at getting pulled off active duty to be a caregiver and protector for baby Colton. Odin believes he received this assignment because he failed to protect a young soldier boy who was under his protection. He wonders if he can ever protect anyone, will he ever recover from this failure. Liberty is a widow who loves baby Colton, isn’t happy about Odin and who never thought she could have feelings for another man. Enter a band of criminals intent on stealing the rainbow sheep (who can float - Ohhh, where can I get one of those beautiful sheep?) from Liberty and Odin’s farm. This forces them to investigate and solve the disappearance to save the farm. Can they come together? Can they work as a team to track the rustlers down? The air becomes electric when they are together. Tasha Black writes a story that has romance, drama, suspense and mystery. It is fast paced and keeps you reading to see what is going to happen next! Thank you!
Sweet story about a widow, Liberty, who is working her way through the bucket list her husband left for her. She is down to the last two items and one of them is motherhood. Adopting an Imberian baby is her way of filing that one, and she can't wait to meet him. Colton is perfect, but his Invicta warrior guardian is a grumpy-pants. Liberty is surprised to learn that Odin and Colton are a package deal, she is shocked to discover that the big red alien touches a place inside her that she thought was numb. But is there any way Odin could ever find her as attractive as she finds him?
Odin can't believe it when he touches Liberty and realizes that she is his mate. He doesn't think he deserves that kind of happiness, but his dragon is all in. He knows he can't spring the whole "you're mine and dragons mate forever" thing on her on day one, but maybe she will feel the bond, too? But taking care of Colton and figuring out how to run a farm take precedence, especially when rare sheep start to disappear. Are they being killed by predators? Stolen? They need to figure it out before Colton's future is threatened.
I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
Liberty has arrived on a distant planet ready to adopt an alien child as part of her promise to her deceased husband. He had left his dying wishes and she was going to make sure she followed them except the last one, she would never be in love again. She did not plan on coming face-to-face with Odin, and feel a pull towards him. She loved the child immediately, now she just had to learn how to farm sheep, special alien sheep. It would help if Odin wasn’t so angry all the time, but she didn’t know he had feelings for the baby, and soon he had feelings for her. He had a secret in his past he wasn’t willing to tell. But everything is going to come out in the end, especially now that they are on a mission to find out who’s been stealing their sheep. This book was really amazing, I really enjoyed the descriptions of all of the animals, the species, even the planet. The author did a fantastic job. I hope you read this book and enjoy it as much as I did.
Get ready for another out of this world must read by Tasha Black! “ODIN is the 5th fan-freaking-tastic, page-turner from the awesome ‘Alien Adoption Agency series that grabbed me right from the start! ... This fresh new PNR romance has some intrigue, and always great descriptions. Odin, who is a hunky dragon guardian and Liberty, a feisty new mom, embark upon a journey with her adopted baby that he will protect, to their new home... Always interesting & likable characters, both secondary as well as the H/h, plus witty dialogue, had me glued to my seat until I had finished in record time! ... Even tho I volunteered to read this before release day, it was without any outside influences, plus I usually buy this author’s kindle books whenever I can. So I honestly do recommend this to adult fans of fiction & now I can’t wait for more from this author, but of course I will :D
She refused to let her life be dragged down by loss. A new beginning. A baby. She didn't expect there to be a handsome warrior as part of her new world. He didn't expect the beautiful woman who would be a part of his life and the child he'd sworn to protect.
She was more than he deserved. Still, life should have been good...until the attacks on her farm. Finding their enemies was dangerous and difficult. Would they succeed? Would they live through the search?
With their guilt about going on with their lives and finding happiness, can they possibly do just that?
Wonderful characters who fight through their past losses to make a new life for the child they've taken in and themselves. There's steam and a unique example of mother love--and not what you think. The series continues with another good story.
Life on a new planet, a new baby to raise, no problem, right? Liberty embarks on quite an adventure agreeing to move to a remote moon to raise an orphaned baby. A widower, she takes on this quest to fulfil her personal need and her husband's bucket list. Ready for life with a baby, she is caught off guard when she unexpectedly finds herself linked to a surly, soldier tasked with protecting her new baby. The storyline moves quickly. Both characters have flaws and walls which are refreshing to see when they interact. The author provides a good backstory for both characters and the plot moves rather quickly. Overall a good read.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Liberty Clark is widow who is following a bucket list created for her by her late husband. There are only two items left, the next on the list is to become a mom. Liberty decided to adopt and move to Lachesis to raise her child but is surprised to discover her child comes with a protector. Odin is an Invicta dragon warrior charges with protecting the child with his life if needed. The sparks start to fly between Liberty and Odin but she does not want to through the loss of another love. Odin is determined to be Liberty's friend if nothing else. Rustlers attack their homestead and Odin will do everything in his power to protect Liberty. I love this book, the story is amazing, the characters are wonderful. I couldn't put it down.
Odin:Alien Adoption Agency by T. Black is book five in this series and is a stand-alone. Yes, there are a few cross-overs, but I could follow the storyline without having read the previous books. Liberty is a widower who decided to raise a baby on an alien moon. Odin is the warrior assigned to them, to protect and care for the baby. And the dragon shifter/ alpha male/ grumpy mcgrumperson is torn between his attraction to Liberty and his own agenda. What's a dragon who wants his mate against his iron will - everything, It's every single thing. A highly entertaining story well written and beautifully told with just the right amount of everything. A great read, 4,5 stars.
Her dead husband had a bucket list for her to do,the last one to have a child. She does the list and adopted a baby boy. His guardian was in a mad mood and she didn't understand his grumpy mood. His dragon said mate. They get to know one another he has a love for the baby. Their sheep are missing and so they look. They help stop on gang with the babysitters help while in town while talking to the marshal figured out what happened to their sheep. They helped stoped be a smuggling ring. She accepted that she was his mate from the beginning but needed to be sure about him. They're a family now.
Odin & Liberty both have been through immense loss & trauma before meeting. Odin is Libertys' adopted sons guard. These two both love & adore baby Colton & try hard to make a good home for him all while battling their personal losses, fighting their attraction (mate-bond) & dealing with sheep thieves. It's a beautiful story of overcoming, perseverance, letting go & learning to love again.
The beauty of the alien planet & the amazing creatures are so cool. I wish the author would include epilogues. None of the books in this series have had one. That's a disappointment.
Fresh Start and Forgiveness. Meeting the Invicta dragon warriors is a treat. Each story starts where the adoptive mothers meet their Imberian sons and respective protectors. Liberty Clark’s story is one of heartache, loss, perseverance and living. Completing the task from her dying husband gives this story a ‘P.S. I love you movie feel. Odin’s need to forgive himself. Where Zane’s book, his mate Sarah is all about revenge and justice for her father’s death, Odin’s book, his mate is about starting over and forgiveness. I enjoy how each story has a focal meaning that leaves the reader with good vibes. Each story is specific to their couples yet start from an primary origin.
I loved Odin and Liberty together! Liberty had previously been married and lost her husband but before losing him he wrote a bucket list for her that he wished her to accomplish. Odin is angry at getting pulled off active duty to be the caregiver for a welp but he sees it as karma for “failing to protect a young boy that was also a soldier. Can they come together to put Colton first? When stuff from their farm goes missing will they be able to work as a team to track it down? I can’t wait for Rexx’s story!!
These are the cutest story’s about a baby that brings a warrior dragon shifter and a Human female together to raise him. The warrior is there to protect the baby but the women that is to be his mom just so happens to be his mate. But soon they are having to find out who is taking their sheep and these sheep aren’t like anything you would know they are rainbow sheep. So enjoy the read and find out what makes these sheep so special and if there is a HEA for these three!!
This one was better than the first in this trilogy. I really enjoyed Liberty’s story and how she instantly fell in love with Colton. Odin was a grumpy sort, but than again, I like that type of male. It’s always so satisfying to see those walls break and for the grumpy soul to show his true heart. The love of animals that Liberty had and the visuals of the rainbow sheep warmed my heart. I really loved this books and can’t wait to read Rexx and Abigail’s book next!
I loved this one. You will need a tissue for the emotions this story evokes as widow Liberty and angry Odin become parents to sweet Colton. All the characters are real and rounded. This author has an amazing talent. There are plenty of different elements to hold the readers interest including hot erotic scenes. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this story and I very highly recommend it. This book and series is very well worth reading.
This is book five in the Alien Adoption Agency and Liberty and Odin’s story. Liberty is a widow and decides to move to a remote moon to raise her adopted baby. Odin is a dragon warrior assigned to protect Liberty’s baby. The more time Odin spends with Liberty the more he wants her. Liberty and Odin’s journey is filled with adventure, action, chemistry, and romance. A great read and one I highly recommend.
I loved it. A story of overcoming the past and facing the future that hit all my buttons. Odin, the grumpy alien guard for an alien infant. Liberty, the widow who adopts the child and is determined to do her best for him. Along the way she also helps Odin to heal from his past and reach for a future, solves a mystery and enchants the wildlife. Liberty lived up to her name!
I love Odin and Liberty's story. This story is fast paced and action packed with a happily ever after. Both Odin and Liberty had significant losses in their lives which affected them so they had no thoughts about finding love other than the baby. Odin particularly fought his dragon who knew Liberty was their mate. They had to work together to find the thieves stealing the sheep from the farm and their feelings for each other grew over time. Add a kick ass babysitter who will make you laugh.
Liberty thought, she was finishing a list when in reality her adventure was just beginning. She joined the adoption agency to become a mother. Colton is the sweet little baby she adopts. Along with him comes a fierce Invicta warrior as a protector. Odin has his own secret from his past. They heal each other and become so much more. During this adventure, they uncover a scandal and solve it. Great read with plenty of ups and downs.
