As someone with absolutely no background in medicine, I found this book quite interesting. Did it impart any medical knowledge to me? Not exactly. However, it effectively debunks various myths about alternative medicine by providing references to credible sources. Additionally, it illustrates how legitimate medical research should be conducted and how sponsored studies often lead to biased results.
I would rate it 4 out of 5 stars because some chapters were dull to me, mainly because I was unfamiliar with the medical topics being discussed.
I would recommend this book to everyone, as it has something of value for all readers.
