I think I used up all the remaining Braincells I had trying to make sense of this one. I had zero clue what was up more than half the time. But the art and storyline make up for all the confusion. I do think multiverse kinda stuff is not my cup of tea. It just messes up all the storylines. SukixJaeshin was adorable and I wish they were the main focus of the story but oh well. SukixChulsoo was the one most heartbreaking and heartfelt ship I've come across. What they shared is beyond words. He lived for her. And then..... Sigh. He deserved better. So did all the good characters. Fuck the clans. I seriously hate them so much. The ending felt really rushed. I wish they showed the happier parts too after all the mayhem and sufferings. I'll miss them but I cannot commit to keep up with all the other storylines so adiós my bbs. You were loved <3
Absolutely loved this, definitely one of the best superstring entries I've read. This manhwa has a great balance of action, comedy, romance, and suspense. Every character is interesting and unique, and it does a good job connecting with the rest of superstring while still working as a stand-alone.
I decided to read this WEBTOON after getting invested in the SuperString Universe of YLAB after reading Under the Distant Sky. Suki’s cameo there was actually so badass and gave me high expectations for Neolithic Girl. However, I found her own story to be very bland. She is an irresponsible person, which Jaeshin even comments on. The problem is that this feels completely unrealistic given the fact that she is literally thousands of years old. Instead, she often acts like a middle schooler. Her romantic relationship with Jaeshin makes no sense. I really struggled to understand why she liked him in the first place and why she was willing to go to such lengths for such a mediocre man when he was going to eventually leave her behind anyways. This WEBTOON is trying to balance comedy, romance, action, and sci-fi all in one, and doesn’t have good enough writing to do any of them justice.
dnf. the story is inconsistent and makes 0 sense. the "world" building, if there is any, is another thing i'd like to point out - how's that, not introducing at all the characters nor the places ?? an utter waste of time.
