As a relatively young person, this book was such an adventure, reminds me of the old tales mothers used to tell their kids to finish their bamya, however i just devoured in such a little time i was actually upset it was over, the characters are so intelligently written all with such unique stories and personalities. My personal favourites character is Nisrin, especially her older, cooler, & healed self. She was amazing, I've seen alot of reviews saying this book was an 'it' rip off, i kinda see it to be honest but i don't think it's a bad thing, same character pattern, couple of young kids and a cool older teen which is always crushed on. It's still not even the same thing! The stories are completely different.
I especially loved loved loved the villains backstory. It was so refreshing to read something that actually made me get the villains perspective and understand why he did what he did. I've read soo many horror books in English and nothing ever made me feel the way this book made me feel, another thing I've noticed is how good the author can really keep you hooked to the book never wanting to let it go.
the point where the date changes from the 90s to 2020! I was so impressed with how good it was. It's truly an attractive novel
An astronomical piece of literature that i will forever preserve in my memory and heart馃挆
