Love Auction II: Love Designs by Sharon Carter is a romantic thriller that attempts to bring another couple together until a serial killer steps between them. Savanna Wright moves to Bayville for her dream job and to mentor Jackson McNally. Aiden resents his uncle's judgment and wishes he would let Aiden hire his own assistant. Aiden's British arrogance rubs Savanna the wrong way, and she shows him she may talk sweet but southern girls have a steel resolve.
I found Love Auction II: Love Designs similar to Sharon Carter's first novel. The attraction between the characters is alluring as they struggle to understand the magnetic pull between them. When Matthew shows interest in Savanna, Aiden knows something is off, and he never dreams he is a serial killer. Will Aiden convince Savanna of his love before one of them is killed?

Sharon Carter is back with yet another thrillingromance novel.
This is the second book in the series.I find this one more appealing than the other one.Although the story is completely independent of the first part. Our protagonistSavanna Wright is a bright,sexy and career-oriented girl. after getting a break atMac Home Designs she is relocating toBayville. Meanwhile,Aiden St. Patrick, the VP is not very welcoming of this idea. They share constant conflict which is viewed as the sexual tension between the two. To add to the thrill of the story,Matthew Wittendale, a serial killer is attracted to Savanna and tries to make moves.
Iliked the characterdevelopment verymuch. The narrative is engaging and keeps me hooked throughout.It was a fast-paced story.

After reading Love Auction: Too Risky to Love there was no way I was going to pass on the second instalment. Like the first book Love Auction II is another love story with a few unexpected twists and also a serial killer!
Like Sage in the first book I found Savanna to be a character packed with depth and emotion and she resonated with me very early on as the story began.
Carter has the ability to pull a reader into the story, at least she did with me, and I could feel all of the emotion that developed between Savannah and Matthew and as the story progressed. It became a powerful and impactful plot line with a number of unexpected twists. Love Auction II was quite a pleasure to read and potentially one of the better books I've read recently.
Like Sage in the first book I found Savanna to be a character packed with depth and emotion and she resonated with me very early on as the story began.
Carter has the ability to pull a reader into the story, at least she did with me, and I could feel all of the emotion that developed between Savannah and Matthew and as the story progressed. Love Auction II: Love Designs by Sharon Carter is an exciting work of fiction. It comprises a story that brings to life two protagonists, Aiden and Savanna. It shows what people go through to find one another and how determination in love pays off, eventually. This novel contains brief references to Sharon Carter’s previous book, Love Auction: Too Risky to Love Again, but it is unnecessary to have read the first book to understand this plot.
Aiden, a business executive and VP for a successful design company, is irritated when career-minded Savanna joins his working team. His uncle, who owns the company, hires her. Colleagues assume Aiden believes she is unsuitable for her position. Until he eventually acknowledges the truth behind his actions. Savanna is the most beautiful woman he has laid eyes on, and he can’t deny how attracted he is to her.
Savanna Wright, young, beautiful, and headstrong. She knows what she wants, has her future ahead of her and has a plan on how to achieve it. Standing in her way is Aiden. The handsome young VP of the company she works for makes her body feel like it’s on fire! Can they battle through their differences to profitably work together? Will they finally acknowledge the blatant connection they have for one another? Or will Matthew Wittendale, a crazed serial killer, steal Savanna’s heart with his fraudulent manipulation?
This book has a lot of positive aspects. The characters are strong and well-developed, especially Aiden and Savanna. This paves the way for sexual tension and heated interactions throughout the story. I enjoyed the plot, which passes from a romantic work of fiction to a nail-biting thriller. This kept me glued from the beginning to the end.
I like the way love and trust are portrayed in this book. Aiden and Savanna have both still hurting because of their past and still carry baggage from these failed relationships. The book isn’t bulky, neither is it too short and the language is relatively easy to understand. The ending is exactly what I expected and wanted it to be. Criminals are put to justice and a happily ever after.
Therefore, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Because of the erotic scenes included in the book, I believe this is only suitable for adults. I recommend this book to lovers of romance fiction thrillers.

This is the second book in the series and the second Carter book I’ve read. The author has a way of catching the authenticity behind her characters, which drew me in on the first book. That same concept persists throughout this book. Savanna, much like Sage in the first book, really has a lot on her plate and is going through immense life changes. What is particularly interesting is the way this book unfolds. The dynamic in which the two men vie for Savanna’s attention and how the dangerous Matthew manipulates his circumstances makes this book incredibly interesting. I’d check this book out, and you don’t need the first book to enjoy this one; they stand alone pretty well.

This was a great thrilling romance. The opening absolutely grabs you and pulls you in, making you want to read more. Savanna and Aiden start off with quite a bit of tension - and not necessarily the romantic kind, but you can’t help but hope they’ll manage to work past their animosity and admit what they both can feel is true - they’re the perfect fit for each other. I love the added tension of a serial killer on the loose - it adds some heart pounding moments of a different kind. The characters are great with a lot of depth, and the plot flows smoothly and has plenty of tension, both romantic and otherwise. Perfect for romantic thriller fans!

Sharon Carter does it again. In Love Auction II we meet several new characters. First there is Savanna Wright who is on the way from the States to Bayville to begin a new job at Mac Home Designs. Jack is the owner of the company and has brought Savanna on because of her wonderful talent but also because he plans to be on a leave of absence. His nephew, Aiden St. Patrick, is the VP of Mac Home Designs and is not happy that his uncle has brought Savanna into the picture.
On the plane ride to Bayville Savanna meets Matthew Wittendale, who is a serial killer, unbeknownst to her. And he shows immediate interest in Savanna, which she blows off. However, that is not the last time she will see Matthew. Once she starts her new job it is quickly known that her and Aiden do not get along. They fight constantly. But underneath that do they actually have feelings for each other? Eventually Aiden changes his ways and tries to be nice to Savanna, which she is suspicious of. The more he is nice to her, the more she wonders if he is interested in her romantically. She makes it very clear that she is only interested in having a work relationship. But will that last?

This is the second book in the Love Auction series, and it follows the same formula as the first book. Black woman, white man fall in love, but the woman doesn't want to get involved with the man. However, the attraction is undeniable. As in book one, there is an auction, with the woman being auctioned for a dinner date to raise money for charity. Additionally, there is also a kidnapping in this one.
The book could use some editing to improve the story. I don't find it believable that someone with a lot of money would hire incompetent kids to carry out their wishes, esp. kids who are being helped by the person who will ultimately be hurt. The prison break wasn't believable, the rescue scene wasn't believable.
All of the characters from book 1 make an appearance in this book, and there is some crossover to the storyline.
