I’ve never met him. Never even seen him. But I’ve heard the whispers. The rumors. The stories about him being as cruel as his father. Maybe even worse.
They say his presence wraps around your throat whenever he enters a room. And that’s exactly what I feel the moment he walks into the diner where I work, and I hear people breathe out his name.
Alexius Del Rossa.
They call him the crown prince of the Dark Sovereign—a society of men who own everything but the weather in this town.
Men say he has ice in his veins, and women talk about the corrupted heart in his chest. He’s the kind of man you pray never to cross paths with. The kind of man a girl like me has no chance of surviving.
But while his eyes trap mine, and his magnetism touches my skin, I’m unable to move when he forces me into a corner and hands me an envelope.
It’s an offer. One I can’t refuse.
See, I have nothing. No family. No friends. No home. I can disappear and no one will know.

The extravagant sex life of the Del Rossa’s brothers did not appeal to me. Having brothers sexually sharing women, I am sorry-not-sorry to say, was repulsive. Dnf @ 49%.
This book is disgusting. Hero and his brothers are all🤮 it has VERY descriptive scenes of ow and sharing ow between hero and his brothers (something they do ALL the time). They essentially have women they share with each other (without condoms) before they're passed around to other men when they are sick of them. Essentially women are only sex toys (they require them to be sterilized).
I was hoping that it would at least stop with the heroine but nooooo. Hero shares her with his brother too (he makes her wear a blindfold so she never knows what brother because he's "possessive" like that makes so much sense), so I'm confused how the heroine is any different than the ow? And I feel bad for any future heroines of the brothers after knowing how much they like each other left overs, especially this brother.
Style: Dark Crime Family Romance Story: 3/5 Enjoyment: 3/5 Dark Level: 2.5/5 Sexual Level: GOOD Triggers: Yes Violence: Yes Male: intense & Sexy Series: Book 1 (Cliffy) Pages: 267 Audio: N/A Kindle Unlimited: Yes
STORY: WHAT I LIKED: I really enjoyed the first 50% of the story. The build up was very intriguing to me. The way Alexius and Leandra met, waiting on her reply to his mysterious deal and thrust into this new world. Alexius gave me intense mix with rude and sexy. Leandra gave me, terrified inside, but stood up to Alexius when she needed to. This dynamic made me me excited and I felt that great need to know what will happen next. The dark aspect /content would definitely be the graphic killings as well as Leandra’s pass as a child.
WHAT WAS SO SO: After the first 50% and the wedding, I felt everything happened so fast thereafter. Also, I was not in love with the dynamics that Alexius and Leandra created after. For me, Leandra did not seem like the same person that I met in the beginning of the book. Her character is suppose to evolve and she did, but it was a little off for me. It’s like she got married and the next day it was a switch that was flipped. Don’t get me wrong, I still liked the story, but, it felt too easy after the wedding and because Leandra gave in so quickly, a tiny bit of me lost interest in her. Her fight to me was just really about the sex. There wasn’t enough build up after the wedding and all the changes that were happening between them after the wedding, did not feel authentic. The build up leading to them meeting and the arrangement, good. The build up after the arrangement was settle, so so.
SEXUAL CHEMISTRY I like the sex scenes. I wanted to enjoy Alexius and Leandra some more before sharing. There is a MFM scene.
SECONDARY CHARACTERS: I found the brothers to be very interesting and they like to share ALOT. Nicoli, Isaia, Caelian and even Maximo. I like the way the author tickles your interest with the chemistry between Nicoli and Mirabella. I am interested to see how that plays out. The story is a cliffhanger.
OVERALL: Was I entertained? Yes, but not fully. Did I like the story? Yes. Would I read the other books in the series? I would want to read Nicoli’s story more.
****I don’t equate these stories to real life. It’s about personal taste and what you would or want to tolerate with the books you read. I know we all have different opinions and preferences with what we read. I based my book reviews on my preferences and what I like, and while these preferences may not be the same for others, I hope this review was still helpful.
Hah. Ok, sooooo....the H has three other brothers that he shares women with. They force the women to be sterilized before they service them to make sure they don't have any unwanted pregnancies and they can fuck them bareback and with no protection 😂😂😂😂😂😂😳😬 THEN when they're tired of the new meat, they replace the worn out vaginas with new ones. Like, they geniuses no?
I have heard that in the end, the very possessive and jealous man child loans out his wife vagina to his brothers. Say what now?
I like that she's poor and that he gets her out of her miserable existence but he's out effing other women with his brothers like a holiday tradition and leaves her alone in his house. Its missing a connection, communication, feelings, etc that I want in a romance. I don't want this shit.
Story: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Trope: fake marriage Angst: 😱😱 Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I'm a little conflicted about this one. I actually really enjoyed the overall storyline. It was interesting, well written, and moved quickly. And smexy. Suuuuuuper hot and smexy. The chemistry and fire between the main characters was fantastic. We figure out very quickly that Alexius is an entitled man ho' that doesn't think a lot of women in general. They're pretty much there for his own pleasure and he needs to find one he can use, quickly, to ascend to the mafia throne. He seeks out Leandra, a nobody without anyone, to use as his fake wife until he doesn't need her anymore. I actually found him to be really unlikeable at first 🤷🏻♀. But then things change and he starts to grow feelings that he's never had before. A difficulty I had with the story was it felt like Alexius's "switch" in feelings about Leandra happens just like that... a switch. Completely apathetic towards her and then not. A complete butthole... and then not. It just seemed like he had no pull toward her except as a tool, until he had all the feelings for her. I did Leandra and how independent and how she became so comfortable with her sexuality so quickly. I wasn't sure if I was going to like this story, but I ended up enjoying it quite a bit and am looking forward to the next book!
THIS FRIKKING STORY!! Okay, wait, no, not just the story, the family, the brothers, the world, Alexius and Leandra, the mystery and suspense, ALL OF IT is one ridiculously captivating page-turner! I mean I could not read fast enough, and I was super annoyed I read so fast all at the same time because, no more words!!!!
As you’re all aware now, Alexius and Leandra are now a duet which, frankly, is a well-played move on Bella’s part. I know the turn of events from a single book to duet was a last-minute adjustment by Bella, but she called it well. The end point right now is a perfect fork in the road / breather-moment for the story as a whole.
I can’t in good conscious tell you much about the storyline itself, but I will say that character development is ridiculously on-point thus far. I can also say that the story is graphic, but not off-putting in any way. It is definitely not your mamma’s bedtime story, but it is all-consuming in a way you want to learn all the things all at once. I am ridiculously hooked on this story and this family and I cannot wait for this journey to continue!!
Very good smut and writing style. I wish the story was better.
I usually give 3 stars to books I skim read/feel meh about it but feel others may enjoy, and I want to rate Alexius 4 stars because the writing style is good.
It’s just the substance that is lacking. Like, the hero needs a wife to be the Dark Sovereign, a mafia kingpin thing, because his dad is traditional. He decides to get a desperate girl from the other side of the tracks to enter a 6-month arrangement with him. Marry me. Be the wife and we’ll divorce and you won’t have to worry about anything for the rest of your life. Get in and get out with no emotions on either side.
Their chemistry is good. I think this author could write vampire or shifter stories because every time Alexius invades Leandra’s personal space, nose to her ear, I felt that 🥵 Now the blindfolded ménage with the brothers? 🥱
Ok it wasn’t bad and the GR reviewers who panned this book because of that scene are clutching their pearls. It’s clear Alexius doesn’t want to share her and it’s only for “trauma healing purposes and it’s also clear that the reader knows who it is. Sure, Leandra “doesn’t know but given her POV, she does dig the brother so I’m sure if she finds out, she won’t be too bothered.
Not much happens and the switch from scared Bambi to mafia don wife is fast, a little unearned. The plot is about the girls at Myth being brutally murdered with a somewhat interesting cliffhanger related to that at the end.
I don’t think I’ll continue with this series but I’ll read more by this author.
I personally didn't vibe with the brothers sharing women, especially Alexius, who had sex with other women after meeting the fmc and then went on to actually share his wife with his brother. This is the point at which I stopped reading. I was just too grossed out at the prospect of a man sharing his wife with his BROTHERS...like, how fucking awkward would it be at breakfast all together the next morning? Idk, I just don't get the appeal.
To sum it up, I thought Alexius and his brothers were disgusting manwh*res who ruined the story, which actually had a promising plot. No thanks on this series.
More disgusting toxic excrement being shit out onto the page and then being peddled as romance. Hero doesn’t love heroine enough and isn’t possessive, but is ok having her passed around to other men to use as a dirty gym sock. Hero is also a slimy repulsive manwhore who has fucked skanks with his brothers without condoms so I guess we’re supposed to swoon over his overused syphilitic dick
It would get interesting when the desecrated body was found, at their brothel. Then meander into standard mafia fair. You know...mafia prince being told in order to receive the crown he must marry. Hatching a plan to bully an female with no friends or family up to the alter. Wait for the cancer to finish off your father. Share your wife with your brother. Oh, there is a second body. The identity of the murder is revealed. Maybe!
This book wasn’t what I was expecting at all.. which is what I should have expected all along. It was twisted, dark, and sometimes brutal - but I was consumed by every word. I need to know what happens next. 3.5 stars
Also side note - I hate sharing. Why wasn’t this mentioned in the author’s note, instead of the newsletter released this morning?

Wow! This was a non-stop, invigorating read that kept you on the seat of your pants the entire time. I really don't know what to say about this one, really the story, other than this one seriously hot read. The brothers in this organization are perverted and violent with the games they play with women seem wrong somehow but, the woman are willing to accept them for the way they are and fall at their feet time and time again.
This story was highly intense, wicked, highly erotic, had a fake to real romance, voyeurism, sharing partners, and contains humiliation. The sex scenes dark and highly erotic. The sex scenes off the charts, the chemistry between Leandra and Alexius was fiery and passionate and off the charts as well. Down and dirty no holds bar sex. No matter where this couple was, no matter where the mood strikes them, they give into their desires, and it seems an ongoing seem for this couple. Hot and dangerous living!
Leandra was just a girl surviving the life she was dealt with until the devil graced her door and did not give her much of a choice, to take the devil's deal or just survive another day. We loved her, she was truly a good person, loved her spark, she had a great personality despite her circumstances and if Alexius would allow it she would change his life forever in a good way. Loved that he met is match in her, even with his ongoing hatred filled threats, she held her own.
Alexius is a character you love to hate but, this highly dark and dangerous man is hard to resist. The cravings never seems to go away for his desire for Leandra at least. This man is control and methodical, and to see him so off kilter by the little slip of a woman was a sight to see. This man is into some seriously dark kink, and it makes you wonder if one lone woman would ever be enough to satisfy this man of dark and his delectable cravings.
The characters were awesome, the brothers intriguing and intense and a bit of a mystery, they were dark and dangerous as well. From the moment you were turning the pages, you were sucked right in. We could not put the book down to the very end, and the end had us wanting more. Highly addictive!
Holy mother of…I learned something new about myself reading this book and ummm excuse me while I go change my panties 🥵 I’ll be back once I’m no longer rendered speechless.
I can’t say I’m not still going to struggle with this review because this story is living nice comfy and rent free in my head. This author creates these stories that suck you into worlds you had no idea you wanted to be part of. I can’t resist a good, dark mafia romance and this book delivered on that ten fold.
𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦, 𝘸𝘪𝘤𝘬𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭 goodness, I couldn’t read it fast enough yet I didn’t want it to end. When I tell you this will get you hot and bothered I am so 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀- your kindle will literally smoke from how spicy this book is. In an effort to avoid spoilers I’ll just say that Alexius is the epitome of a mafia boss- sexy, possessive and domineering. There was some really great character development in this story and the ending has me eager for the second book in Alexius and Leandras story.
If you want a book that can pull you in from the get go and keep you hooked throughout this is the book for you. Alexius was waiting to take over from his father but in order to do so he must marry. What better choice than a seemingly little waitress that looks like she has nothing going for her. Leandra is not a bad person at heart so for Alexius to take over her life you know things are going to be good.
This book was full of darkness, suspense and steam that comes right up off the pages. I loved Alexius and Leandra and the story that was spun for them was fantastic!!
Wow, I started it today and read it in one sitting. Enemies to lovers and some twists. Mafia romance at its best. Bella had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. I loved every second of this book and need the next one ASAP🖤🖤🖤
Absolutely loved this one. Wowww I have no words. It was fucking hot. The perfect mafia dark romance. Cannot wait to read the next books in this series. Each and every brother in the Del Rossa clan is my kryptonite 😮💨🤌
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.

This book is absolutely amazing. You will not lay it down once you pick it up. This is the story of Alexius and it is a semi-dark book that might contain some triggers for some readers so make sure you heed the warnings in the beginning of the book. Leandra is a girl who has not had the best life and is now on her own and struggling to make ends meat by being a waitress in a part of down that is super run down. She hides her beauty behind baggy clothes and is basically all alone in the world. You can imagine her shock when a member of the Dark Sovereign is in the café one day and ends Alexius himself ends up coming in and handing her an envelope and needs an answer in twenty four hours. She figures it's a party invite or he wants her to work in one of his clubs. But that couldn't be further from the truth. Alexius is the oldest of the Del Rossa sons and is set to take the seat at the head of the table of the Dark Sovereign. The guy has literally sacrificed everything and learned all about being the leader from his father. But his father is sick and dying and has a few surprises in store still when he tells Alexius he has to marry within a certain period of time. Alexius in not happy. He has dedicated his life to the Dark Sovereign and his father and now he has to take a wife he never wanted in the first place. He comes up with a plan. Find a girl alone in the world who could benefit from the arrangement, live her life with his protection always and more money than she could ever spend for staying his wife until his father dies and he takes over. Seems pretty simple right? I loved these two. The fire they both have just had me on pins and needles and I loved that Leandra could at times give as good as she got. But there is more going on in this book than just I need a wife now. There is someone or someone's messing with the clubs and employees there and I swear to you I think I got the cold chills when it was revealed what is happening. That too keeps you on a razor edge. This book is good and I can't think of one thing about it that I didn't love. I was a little confused though that this book didn't end as I thought all these books in the new series were standalones. Don't get me wrong though, I don't mind waiting on the next book because I have to know. I have to know a lot of things and so will you. Don't even sit and think about reading this book. Just do it. You will love it. And you won't regret it one bit.
Alexius is the first installment in the Dark Sovereign Series, it does end in a freaking cliffhanger, BUT it's such an engaging story that you'll accept that all it has to be delivered couldn't be contained in one book and YES, you'll be biting your nails to its beds until the sequel comes!
Prince Heir to the Dark Sovereign and under the threat of losing his place in the legacy, Alexius must find a wife asap, someone to apease his dying father's demand, behave for the audience and be completely expendable. After 6 months, the wife goes, one way or another. Leandra Dinalli is a struggling young woman trying to live one day at the time, dealing with the demons of her past, trauma, abandonement and ill care and a future with no light at sight, a 'stray' (Alexius words, not mine) and the perfect candidate. In the span of a moment, Leandra sees a brighter possibility, although aprehensively and reluctantly and accepts the proposal because, what other options does she have?
The narrative flows steady and direct, revealing inicial intentions and their metamorphose to something unexpected and absolutely undesired, the central point of Alexius and Lee's conflict and the motor of the story. Alexius is a hard headed and rutthess man that likes things his way like the true heir to the powerful criminal syndicate he's about to inherit and become king. Lee was not supposed to ingrain herself so deeply in Alexius mind and body and become one more problem for him to think about. They develop a very powerful relationship, a hunger for each other no one ever matched: a sudden will to protect his woman and destroy, maim and annihilate any danger that comes her way, for Alexius, a feeling of belonging to somewhere, a connection with someone that really starts to matter, for Leandra. To say these two are 🔥 for each other is putting it lightly: they're completely imbeded in one another, even if they're not ready to aknowledge it wholeheartly. I loved to see Alexius sensitiveness for Lee's past suffering and his willingness to find way to sooth her pain and make her understand the significance between what was and what is.
Well balanced in its complexity, this first touch with the world of the Dark Sovereign gathers all the nuclear elements of a perfect criminal underground account: the family, the birthright and the greed, the business, the gore and the intrigue, the mystery at hand, the defiance and a swoony romance. I absolutely loved the bro's dynamics, their twisted nature and how close they are, the peeks at future entanglements, the oponents and adjuvants expertely placed in the storyline and a plot that leaves you wanting more! His Wife does not come soon enough!!!
If you haven’t read any of her books before Alexius is a great place to start it book 1 in the series and book 2 is releasing July 26th. Again Bella has written another very dark, very hot mafia romance. I can’t get over this book. It’s not insta love, but it’s hot from the very beginning. This book did not disappoint. The brothers hit me differently. They are dark, a little twisted, they captivate you when you’re reading. This book fully took over my life lol.
A little bit about the book- Alexius is one of 5 brothers, Alexius’s and his twin brother Nicoli, then there’s Cealian and the youngest Isaia, the 5th is Maximo who is basically the adopted brother. Their father is dying and doesn’t have long left to live. He asked Alexius to find a wife asap. Alexius is a man who doesn’t care for woman, to him they have just a bit of fun. And that fun he shares with his brothers 😆
His father believes for Alexius to be a good leader of the Sovereign empire he needs strong wife beside him. Alexius finds a woman who has nothing, who is lost, she is someone who has only had bad experiences with men. She doesn’t have a lot to live for. You would think this because of the way she looks, with the way she is and the life she is living. She has nothing to lose. She could easily disappear. Leandro has an unpleasant childhood. She hide beside her clothes, she acts like a woman who isn’t really her.
Alexis doesn’t know the woman he’s married but Leandro know who she said yes to.
I haven’t read anything like this in so long. Honestly so entertaining, so f**king hot all on levels. I can’t describe I feeling I had while reading this. I had the biggest smile on my face that’s for sure. Not only is this a hot romance. It’s very heavy mafia. Lots of blood and a very intestine plot to the mafia side of this book. I won't go into detail on that part of the story because I don’t have the answers yet. And it a good surprise if you plan on reading this book. I honestly can’t wait for book 2.
And here I am again, ready to embark into another freaking awesome book written by one of my favorite authors. Yep, that's me, anxiety corrosive against my heart, and my soul doing a happy dance. Well, that's the effect, every single book written by the amazing Bella J has on me. She's that good but also has a dark side... Dark and kinky... The perfect combination... Right? Alexius is her latest release and it's the first book from the Dark Sovereign series. This book explores the lives of Alexius and Leandra. Alexius is a Sovereign son. He's closed off, he's ruthless, and has a dark soul. He's used to having things done his way or no way. When he is given the ultimatum, at the hands of his father, to get married, he goes in search of a wife. When he makes a proposition to Leandra... Leandra is a sweet girl that doesn't want to be noted. Her life hadn't been easy but after what she endured, she just wants to live her life away from the dark. When someone offers her a business arrangement... This lady really knows how to keep us on our toes... That's for sure... What the hell was that? Seriously woman? I have no words... No words whatsoever... My mind is all over the place... I can't think straight. Superb plot, very well written, super engaging, dark and hot... Not hot, a burning inferno, that's for sure. I was so into this book that I read it in one sitting. Once I started to read it, I simply couldn't put it down. I couldn't. Things were happening in a way that left me wanting more, so much more The suspense, the danger, and the drama were so present that I was shaking. These characters worked perfectly with each other and their chemistry is off the charts. The hot scenes are so good... Kinky and so much more... Lol I knew, that a book from this lady was going to be this addictive, but Dayum... It was so much more. And, like always, she ended it with a cliffhanger... Why? Oh, why? Seriously Bella... Give me the next book soon. I can't wait that long. I need answers, and I need them now... A very dark masterpiece.I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Don’t want to give anything away but the threat that Alexius & Dark Sovereign are facing is so haunting, creepy and unpredictable.
This is my first book by this author Bella J and what an introduction it is. It's a steamy fast pace page turner. With characters that draw you right in. So in tune with their own sexuality that they don’t fit into the social norms and don’t clearly don’t care.
Alexius Del Rossa is the heir to the Dark Sovereign, a dangerous family that owns the city, has law enforcement in their pocket and are basically royalty. When Alexius’s father gives him an ultimatum; to marry or lose his birthright. That is when Alexius decided to arrange a marriage with someone who has nothing..no family, no friends, no money..nothing..someone expendable, a means to an end. He offers a girl from the other side of the tracks, Leandra. Alexius is rich, powerful, dominating, dangerous, handsome, but most of all cruel. Leandra just has to wait it out for 6 months and then she can start a new life without worrying about money. But can she fight off her attraction to her husband? Can she walk away when the arrangement expires in 6 months?
I have read some dark stuff but this one is so captivating ..like should i be enjoying this? Do I..Do I like this? Yes..yes I do and I'm not sorry. Our heroine is strong and is working through some childhood traumas but our males are just as damaged and can’t wait to get their stories as well. The supporting characters grab our attention just as much as the main characters and I am all for it. That cliffhanger!!! Who can it be?? I don’t know what it is but i love reading mafia books where the mafia is against something darker.
Completely recommend! SO DELICIOUSLY DEVIOUS AND SINFUL!!!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Holy hotness! This book was on fire with the amount of steam between the two main characters, Alexius and Leandra, two people who couldn't be from more opposite sides of the tracks. One from high society, the future head of his family, the other at the bottom of the social ladder.
Alexius Del Rossa is an alpha to his core. He is the eldest of four brothers and the heir apparent to the Dark Sovereign empire. His twin, Nicoli, and their two younger brothers, Caelian and Isaia, plus Maximo his best friend, are used to living the high life. Pleasure is their drug of choice and there isn't anything they won't do. They all play hard at Myth, one of the sex dens owned by the society. Alexius is living his best life except for knowing that one day he will take his place at the head of the table when his father is no longer alive.
Leandra Dinali is living a life of despair. She hates where she lives, where she works and the fact that she barely exists. She has no one left in her life, her family all dead and buried. The diner she works in is the only bright spot in her day. Until the day a stranger walks in, exuding danger from his very pores. He is known around town to be someone you don't want to get on the wrong side of. When he hands her an envelope and leaves, she dreads opening it. Nothing good can come of what he hands her and she knows that it will change her life, not necessarily for the better.
This is only the beginning of Alexius and Lenadra's story. It is filled with guilty pleasures, honest reactions, hate and possibly the start of love. I can't wait to see where their passion leads them. Is it down the path to a life together or a short, fiery joining that will set their souls ablaze?
This is the first in a trilogy. The second book is "His Wife" and the third is "Unraveled"! And thank God they are all out already, because Lordy, the ending on this one......
This was intense! First because we have two people, Alexius and Leandra, together temporarily solely as a means to an end, but things aren't turning out how they expected. They're feeling things they weren't supposed to feel, desiring things they shouldn't, and fighting their very own natures so that both run hot and cold which only confuses even more.
If that's not enough, Alexius, is dealing with brutal ritual murders at the familiglia's exclusive club as well as a jealous uncle who wants control of the family dynasty. The book ends with a hint of who the muderer might be, but that hint only leaves you stunned and with even more questions. You won't want to wait to reach for the next book in the trilogy.
This story is well written; it's easy to feel the conflicting emotions within both characters. And the jealous uncle and the murders add an intriguing and riveting element.
One last thing...the Model on the book cover, Isaac Moreno, (look him up on Instagram) fits the description of the MMC perfectly. Isaac has the most beautiful aquamarine blue eyes. The MMC has beautiful blue eyes that change shades depending on lighting and his moods. So it's easy to picture that gorgeous man everytime the character's beautiful blue eyes are mentioned. Just an added treat. 5 stars for book one!
What a fantastic start for this series! The marriage arrangement between Leandra and Alexius started with Alexius totally disregarding Leandra. He felt she was expendable and she was only a means to an end. Well Leandra knew where she came from but despite her lowly beginnings, she found the strength to make Alexius address the contradictions of his behavior. Now with a serial killer wreaking havoc, and no clues to go on, Alexius's terminally ill father is now involved. I have a feeling it has something to do with Leandra but the killer is going through Alexius. This is so exciting. Although it is a cliffhanger I can't wait for the next book. A must read. I highly recommend it.

This was an amazing 5 star very steamy dark mafia romance that had me reading it in one sitting.
Alexius will soon take over his father’s place at the head of the Dark Sovereign. But first he must do something he doesn’t want to do, find a wife.
This was an highly entertaining and addicting story that kept me on the edge of my seat throughout. Dark mafia at it’s best. It does come with quite some streamy scenes that light up like fireworks on a Fourth of July. I loved these perfectly created characters. It’s very suspenseful with some twists and turns that left me baffled. Bottomline this is a must read.
This is book 1 so it does end with a jaw dropping cliffhanger that left me wanting more. Told in a dual POV with an HEA. I strongly recommend this story.
