Only a 4-star rating because over the last 50 years, some of Myrdal's arguments have become stale or have been disproved. In 1957, this would have easily been a 5-star rating.

Great analysis. I think that it has very interesting and current ideas. The only thing that I disagree with is chapters 2 and 3, particularly with the causes concluded for the circular causation principle
