A "gift" book with quotes and short essays or poems. Inspirational and healing.
There is one essay by the editor on page 36 that I would love to find an original or even copy of to paste online. Ernest R. Miller "The Death of a Child" p.36. a good reference book or go-to or gift book.

Some great short poetic quotes and excerpts from various people. Ordinarily I am not a fan of poetry but this gives just little tastings to reflect on and they are quite enjoyable.

I picked this book up at a thrift store because the shiny gold cover caught my attention. The person who owned it before me marked the inside cover 鈥楨aster, 1974鈥� in neat feminine print.
This book is a collection of poetry and other short works. I thought it was cool how each of the ideas explored were broken into different sections. The illustrations at the beginning of every section were beautiful.
This anthology was enjoyable to read, but I have also collected a list of some poets within the book that I am interested in looking into more. Some of them are surprisingly niche, so maybe there are some hidden gems lol.
