Angry.

Wild.

Loose cannon.

As one of college hockey’s most feared defensemen, I’ve been told I’m all those things and more. The ice is the only place where I can take my anger out on other people and get applauded for it.
The rougher I play, the dirtier I am, the more praise I get.

I suppose the same could be said about me in the bedroom.

I’m not the dude you want your daughter bringing home to meet you. Because your angel? Well, I’ll make sure her halo is crooked by the time I’m done with her.

But I’ve met my match. The one who won’t be so easy to leave behind.

And the thing with Bria Collins? She’s nobody’s angel.

But just because she doesn’t wear a halo doesn’t mean she can handle my darkness.

"I’m filthy. And I always will be."

I just finished Filthy Boy and all I can say is wow. I was not expecting to feel all these emotions when reading this book. But I felt everything and then some. I laughed, swooned, sweated and yes I cried. I think I probably highlighted over half the book. So many good quotes and scenes. This book hooked me in and I didn't want to put it down.

"She’s a wildflower. One who can’t be persuaded to have the same dream as others do."

"Even if I did deserve her, which I don’t, I’d never be enough."

Brody and Bria are both flawed but it's their flaws that make you love them. Make you cheer for their story. For their happy ending. They both have very troubled pasts and have a lot to work through in their own lives and then together.

Thank you Hannah Gray for bringing to life the story of Brody and Bria. I loved them so much and I'll be thinking of their story for some time to come.

I don't even know where to start with this book, it blew me away and took my number one spot for top read of 2023 so far.

Hannah has the best writing style that keeps your hooked & unable to put the book down.

Filthy Boy gives us the story of Bria and Brody, these two have both had a traumatic past while growing up causing Body to never want people getting close to him, and Bria to start a journey of healing and letting go of toxic ways to cope.

The second Brody sees Bria at a model shoot he knows he wants to have a wild night with her, but when she turns him down due to her no sex rule he finds himself joining her in that pact.

These two have such a strong friendship, but the lines start getting blurry after thinking they could have sex and nothing would change.

Honestly this book destroyed me and put me back together by the end. I felt every emotion that Hannah and written into their story. I don't know the last time I cried has hard as I did reading this. But I also found myself laughing at the banter we get from Brody & the spice, oh god it was perfect😮‍

If you want to cry, read it.
If you want amazing spice, read it.
If you want the best book banter, read it.
If you want a messy friends to lovers, read it.
Honestly. Just read it.

I’ll forever recommend not only this book, but the entire series.

Thank you Hannah & Wordsmith Publicity for the arc copy

If you take any of my book recommendations, PLEASE let it be this one. I’ve been waiting on Brody’s story for what feels like forever & let me tell you, this book was worth. the. wait. 👏🏼 I just knew I was going to fall in love with Brody & i definitely did!

This is book #3 in the Puck Boys of Brooks University Series, following Brody & Bria. Brody is the star defenseman on Brooks University’s hockey team. He’s got a larger than life personality, always cracking jokes & making others laugh. But what we don’t know until this book is anything about Brody’s past which was extremely traumatic for him. It’s why he’s so closed off & only has surface level relationships. That is at least until he meets Bria.

We met Bria in Hannah’s book, Catching Kye, as Bria is Kye’s sister. She transferred to Brooks University for her master’s program & is new in town. She gets a modeling gig where she ends up running into Brody & they end up working together. From that moment forward, they form a close friendship. Having somewhat of a troubling childhood herself, she understands Brody & the darkness within him. Both of them try really hard to deny the chemistry between them but eventually they agree to be friends with benefits but tell themselves that no matter what, their friendship comes first. It couldn’t possibly get too messy right?

Brody was everything I was hoping for & more. He was so freaking funny, but also really charming definitely has a FILTHY mouth 😮‍💨🥵 After learning everything about his past, I was so heartbroken for him. Just wanting to wrap him up in a big hug & never let go. Bria was so good with him & never let him forget that he was enough. The way she loved & cared for him, willing to fight his demons with/for him it was truly beautiful.

Ugh this book hit me right in the feels. I would be laughing one minute & sobbing the next. You will definitely go on an emotional rollercoaster with this read but it’s 100% worth it. Please check trigger warnings before going in because there are some extremely heavy topics discussed!

Hannah, as always you did such an amazing job with this book. I can’t wait to continue the series with Hunter’s book next!

If you love broken characters who heal each other, you’ll love this!

Brody and Bria are both damaged from trauma tied to their parents, and as their friendship forms they make a pact to get themselves back on track. We watch their friendship form and their attraction grow. The steam and chemistry come with their friendship.

I really enjoyed the book!

I can sum up this book in three words: I. LOVED. IT.

Although this can totally be read as a standalone, if you've read any of the books in The Puck Boys series, then you've already met Brody O'Brien. I've been so excited to get his story. Brody is one of college hockey's most feared defensemen. He's known for being wild and a loose cannon that's easy to anger. He's a dirty talking, joke making, bad boy, but in this story? You learn that Brody is so much more than what meets the eye.

Brody has never been the boy that you'd take home to meet your mom, but when he meets Bria, he meets his match. She's a little damaged just like him and she sees him for who he really is. Problem is, Brody knows that he'll never be able to keep her, but she's not going to be easy to let go.

Now, let me just tell you...this book broke my heart. Over and over again. I was prepared for the fun, bad boy Brody (and we do get plenty of him here), but I wasn't prepared for the emotional side of his story and I found it to be VERY emotional at times. I cried for both Brody and Bria, but especially Brody. Oh, my heart. That boy did a number on it! I loved Bria's character and I felt like I could relate to her in a way that had me feeling so many conflicting emotions right along with her.

This book really does have it all. There is plenty of fun banter between Brody and his hockey teammates. There are moments that made me laugh and plenty of moments that made me cry. There is some drama, a bit of comedy, and plenty of steam. I found this one to be a page-turner and I highly recommend it.

So this happens in parallel to Link and Tate’s story.

I absolutely hate it when one of the MCs sees the other MC having sex with another person. Like how would that image get erased from your freaking head once you’re with that person. That image will be stuck in your memory forever!!! No one wants to see their significant other giving everything they’ve got in a very intimate very sexual very private encounter! Just Why?!

Still hung up on the subject. It feels so cringy when the MMC brags about his sexual prowess with other females in front of a “potential partner. I mean ewww it’s no female’s business to know what you do and how you do in bed with other women. This is nothing to brag about. Just like authors make it their life’s job to show how an MMC goes bat shit crazy jealous knowing an FMC had other partners or what she did with them! Well news flash! It goes the same with women! If not more. We are a bundle of emotions and hormones and our jealousy and possessiveness are way more over the roof. So PLEASE stop with this manwhore marathon achievements making it a good thing in a man’s repertoire. No IT IS NOT!

And don’t get me started with this author’s obsession of objectifying handsome men by calling them yum all the time. Umm excuse me! When this is done to girls it’s sexist, derogatory, anti feminist and misogynistic but it’s ok to do that to men! Hell to the no.

Other than that, I liked the first part of the book when they made a pact to swear off alcohol, violence and sex. Their relationship was more about healing themselves, enjoying each other and growing together as mature young adults. They worked over each other’s traumas and they fulfilled their childhood dreams. And it was beautiful.
But somehow authors of young adult books just make it their job to show that the young adults only obsession when they look at the other sex is well just that, sex! They objectify people making sex the only important thing between two humans.

I’ve always and will always think that sex is healthy and beautiful yes that’s why it irks me when I see it is sold so cheap in romance books especially YA ones. It’s an intimate, vulnerable, private, beautiful part of a person that you give to someone you actually have feelings for. It is not to be taken lightly it, on the contrary, is something that you give another person because it is your way of giving a part of yourself for them to treat right and to enjoy together. It’s more than the carnal aspect of it.
However, what’s depicted in these books is the lack of self control, self respect and feelings and just give yourself to practically anyone who propositions themselves sometimes even force themselves.

Anyway, this book started out pretty good (apart from the scene where he was balls deep in someone else while the FMC was watching 🙄), but went down hill from there.
I expected so much more from this book that I was pretty excited to read Brody’s story, however, this will be the end of the road for me in this series.

- Friends to lovers

This is the third and final book in The Puck Boys of Brooks University series and I am so sad it’s coming to an end. I really hope to see the boys make cameos in later books, I mean there are plenty of characters who still need a story right*wink* *wink*

When Brody was first introduced in the series, he was made out to be the goofy, protective on the ice, flirt. And while he is most definitely those things, there is so much more to his story. I won’t spoil specifics, but here is my warning to have some tissues ready.

Bria is on her own journey of healing after he death of her father and some self-destructive behavior starting to catch up with her. One night she opens up to Brody regarding her self-made pact and he decides to join her, no sex, no drinking and no fighting off the ice. Their friendship blossoms quickly and the more time they spend together the harder it becomes to not blur the lines of friendship and more.

Brody and Bria had great chemistry, hilarious banter and heart-wrenching stories that had me not wanting to put this book down. I believe I wrote this in previous review, but Hannah really does have a special ability to craft characters with so much depth and emotion that you just can’t help but fall in love with them.

Brody is the sweetest, funniest, filthiest, but saddest boyyyy & i love him so so much. his dynamic with Bria happened so organically & in a way that needed to ground them both. Bria dealt with her stuff so maturely with Brody while Brody was just so broken & i felt for him hardcore! i'm sad to see these guys go but i loved all of the puck boys stories so much!

This book was way better than I thought it was going to be. I actually dnf’ed this a couple months ago because in the beginning of the book there is a scene where the heroine (Bria) accidentally sees Brody having sex with her neighbor and is turned on by it. Scenes where the heroine sees or hears the hero having sex with someone else are an instant turnoff for me. But I kept seeing recommendations for this book that it was so good and deeply emotional and after finishing it, I wholeheartedly agree.

SPOILERS AHEAD.

I absolutely adored Bria. She was beautiful and feisty, but also so much fun and selfless. Brody was a total man whore athlete but likable and charming. They form this instant friendship and take a vow of celibacy and no drinking to straighten themselves out.

They spend a lot of time together. Their interactions were so sweet and deep and meaningful. Even though they’re “only friends it’s so obvious that they fall deeply in love. I usually don’t like the friends to lovers trope, but I loved it in this book. The tension was very well done. Bria is much more open to her feelings for him, but Brody doesn’t want to ruin their friendship because he is totally addicted to her and doesn’t want to lose her. Well, they can’t keep their relationship platonic for long. The sex scenes were so intense and emotional. Brody however, strictly wants “friends with benefits only. He’s so needy and possessive with her, but then he would be a total hypocrite and scold her for getting too attached.

So this goes on for a bit but finally Bria sticks up for herself. I loved her for that. I loved that she poured her heart out to him and told him that she thought he felt the same deep down—that took so much courage. Well, of course he freaks out. Tells her he doesn’t love her and breaks things off. It was pretty gut wrenching. The separation between them was also gut wrenching. They were both in despair. I was so worried that Brody was going to revert back to his man whore ways because that was his whole personality in the beginning but he can’t be with anyone else and neither can she. He finally deals with the demons from his past and finds his was back to her and that scene was truly amazing!! I felt such relief and happiness when they got back together lol! I absolutely loved their HEA.

So yes this book is very emotional and so good and I’m SO glad I read it!!

The depth Hannah gives her characters is unparalleled in the world of sports romance. The emotions and character arcs are so raw and real. It’s never just surface level; they all have this heaviness they need to work through, and the way she writes their stories makes you totally invested and proud of them when they work their way toward an HEA.

Brody has previously been the light hearted, cocky smile, playboy with a heart of gold of the Brooks U team (and he is still all of that), but in Filthy Boy, we see him as so much more. His traumatic childhood has forced that persona to be his defense, but when Bria walks into his life, he can just be. Bria’s gone through her own journey after the death of her father, and so the two share a certain darkness where the other brings in the light.

I loved everything about this book (the entirety of chapters 10 and 11 were perfection). Brody’s softness in moments of insecurity made me adore him. Because of how fiercely she loves Brody, Bria is probably my favorite FMC in the Brooks U universe. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, and this story showcased that perfectly.

Thanks Wordsmith Publicity and Hannah Gray for the ARC.

ʱ䷡:🔥🔥🔥

This book has me in a choke hold. I've tried to put in to words how much I loved this, but those words keep failing me, as I'm left a little speechless by the heartfelt emotions this book made me feel. I already loved Hannah’s writing, but this is hands down her best book yet.💕

Brody and Bria have the most incredible love story, one that’s also a story of personal worth and acceptance! It was a joy to read. I felt everything when reading this —one minute I was laughing, the next I was panting at the tension, and the next I was bawling my eyes out.

From the outside looking in, Brody is the brash, funny playboy on the Brooks U Hockey team who is always willing to throw a punch. Bria is the confident, sexy surfer-girl model who is starting her masters in photography. But both are hiding scars from their past that cause them very real pain. From the second then meet, they share a connection that is undeniable.

I love that Brody and Bria become instant friends even though their chemistry is undeniable! They quickly become each other’s person, and the way they care for each other is beautiful to watch. So often it’s the hero putting the heroine back together after loss or grief, but this one flips that and Bria becomes the glue for Brody. I cried at all the ways she shows up for him and he shows up for her right back.

Also can we talk about the nickname Wildflower, that he gives her. I’m not always a fan of nicknames, but this one 🫠

Filthy Boy is fantastic. It has so much depth and heart, and two MCs who are perfectly flawed yet perfect for each other. Hannah has this way of writing love stories that make you believe in soulmates, in kismet connections, and everyone finding their person. This story does that phenomenally. It will make you laugh, make you cry and absolutely leave an impression.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND 💓

Brody has absolutely ruined me in the best possible ways for any future book boyfriends. “Filthy Boy is a steamy, emotional and heart squeezing friends to lovers college hockey romance that I devoured in a couple hours.

On the outside, Brody is a light hearted and happy go lucky player on the Brooks U hockey team. On the inside, he has some demons that are constantly trying to take him down and make him think that he is not worthy. Bria Collins is the one person who sees past all of that and gets to know the real Brody. But as the two spend time together, both of their walls come down and the underlying attraction between them ignites.

The amount of love I have for Brody and Bria is unreal. Their story hit me so hard and in the best possible ways. Both are so incredibly raw, real and so relatable. Brody was a favorite for me from the first two books and I’m so glad he finally got his story. Despite how he thinks of himself, he’s caring, kind, and smart. I loved how he was willing to do anything for his friends that had become his family after not having a great childhood. His childhood and what he went through broke my heart. I just felt so gutted for him and wanted to grab him and put him in my pocket so no one could hurt him again. Bria’s childhood was a little easier but had its problems as well. It was something they could connect on and help build their friendship. Their steamy scenes were so delicious and Brody is definitely a filthy boy. The last few chapters were great and brought the whole story full circle with the perfect ending.

Ugh I loved Brody so much, I knew I would from the previous books but I wasn't prepared for how broken he was. He had such a shit childhood and honestly the way he tells his story had my heart breaking for him. He deserves the world, If only he thought he was worthy.

Bria Collins, is the person to show him that he's wothy of love and despite what he thinks he will never be his father. They meet at a modelling shoot and from there they just get on. They both have their own issues so despite the physical attraction they have to each other, they make a pact to help each other out no booze no sex, no fighting (for Brody) they hang out and quickly become best friends.

I loved their friendship, but when he finds out she's never had an orgasm, he can't help thinking about her in that way, and how he wants to be the one to help her out! But can they do the whole friends with benefits thing without getting too attached or ruining their friendship?

Bria was just what Brody needed and their connection and friendship was everything. They are defo my fave couple so far.

Audiobook Review:

Narrated By: Heather Firth & Thomas Oakley

Ohhh my heart what a sweet, emotional story, I don’t feel like I say that enough for a hockey romance but dang this book had me in tears.
Brody and Bria both at Brooks University begin a strong friendship, sharing stories of their past as well as their future goals and when things begin to go deep they share the trauma they both have experienced. Bria deals with loss and guilt while Brody holds on heavily to the devastating childhood he had to endure. I definitely understand why it was called Filthy boy, but dang Bria and Brody were both Broken, and when they connected, it was so special to understand that they both needed this friendship. I really appreciated Bria for her strength in being open and honest towards the sadness she carried as well as when her feelings began to get deeper for Brody, I loved seeing their friendship grow and how they could truly be there for one another. She took a negative in her life and although she struggled and had moments of weakness she was mature enough to know when she needed to change the lifestyle she was living and take charge of herself again in a positive way. Brody’s story was hard to listen to, it was sad and heartbreaking to hear the pain he went through as a child and the demons he continued to carry. Just when he thought that was the only life he was dealt, he took charge and stepped up to be an amazing man. The friendship group in this series is freaking epic! I just loved all of them and the family they have grown to be.
Heather Firth & Thomas Oakley narrate this in dual and once again do an incredible job bringing these two characters to life, Their narration had me holding back tears and bringing out all the emotions for what Bria and Brody have gone through and are still navagating. They also had me laughing at Brody’s silly antics and the way Bria would sarcasticly respond to him, the whittiness in this book was also fun to listen to. Filthy Boy was an emotional and spicy book and those are two things I love in a hockey romance as well as the healing journey and what a beautiful process it was.

A book with so much depth from heartache to laughing until my stomach hurt. The topics addressed in this book were done with such care & I appreciate the book even more. && just wanted to wrap my arms around them both throughout the story.

I loved Brody & Bria from the little glimpses in Broken Boy. && this book just proved why I already liked them so much. Both fought hard mentally, emotionally & physically to be where they were. I love the way Bria made Brody always feel like he was enough, she proved that he was worthy of love & friendships, to show up for him. Literally makes my heart feel so emotional knowing how well Bria loved him through his “darkness & his light side.

Brody a fierce protector to his loved ones & always wanting to put a smile on their face. I the way he always brings humor into situations (I found to be so relatable) just wanting to be the light in a time where it is dark. Through the book you see this character with so much emotional damage who just wants to be loved, to be heard, to felt supported and Bria was that perfect match. The way he pushed Bria outside her comfort zone while gently supporting her 💗💗

I adore their personalities & this book. So much love for these characters, this hockey family they have created & the hard topics addressed in this book done with so much love!

The feral vibe I got from the last book paid off, friends. I love Brody O'Brien. He was a whole vibe with his trauma and his bedroom control prowess and his Bria obsession. I just want to eat him up!

I loved the pact; when I read it was a pact I definitely thought it was going in a different direction and was so happily surprised. I liked how focused Bria and Brody both were on bettering themselves and then healing their trauma, then growing together and trauma bonding. I just felt like these broken people was so well thought out and written beautifully, it just showcased them in a new light.

I couldn't give it a perfect rating because there were so many jokes about guys being weak and compared to women's body parts. Like, 3 or 4 in a row at one point and I just don't like jokes like that. It got to be too much for me, trading anatomy because a guy was in a relationship or showing some sort of weakness/vulnerability. ICK. Just, not for me.

Besides that I really did love this story. Brita had some one-liners that had me rolling and I feel like she's the other half of my soul. I would be her friend for sure. I also loved the buddy romance between Brody, Cam and Link. I just think they are such a fun friend group and we could have used some text conversations between them for hilarity.

Overall, READ IT. Even if you aren't into the first two this book redeems the series!

Do That Thing You Know I Like...

I believe there’s a smile still on my face as I’m writing my review of the “Filthy Boy Book 3 of The Buck Boys Brooks University Trilogy. It’s a college hockey story featuring Brody and Bria. Brody is the stereotypical college jock and the popular guy on campus that all the girls want to be with. He doesn’t do relationships. As the story progresses, readers will find a deeper reason behind that.

Brody meets Bria at a photoshoot and makes a play at her, only to be rejected—not something he is used to at all. However, Bria makes him a proposition to which he agrees, and they become friends with benefits.

They both come to realize they share similar pain and loss. Brody, though, struggles with fighting his happiness, allowing him to have healthy relationships.

In the beginning, Brody and Bria’s interaction had me laughing so much. Brody is quick-witted, lashing out with great comebacks throughout this story. There were so many moments that were so sweet, Brody frustrated me at times, and I felt so bad for Bria. Author Hannah Gray incorporated well-written, steamy scenes for these two. And the ending gave me themes I love. Brody, the “Filthy Boy, ultimately came through.

I received a copy of this book for free and am leaving this review voluntarily.

“𝑌𝑜𝑢’𝑟 𝑙𝑖𝑘𝑒 𝑏𝑒𝑖𝑛𝑔 ℎ𝑜𝑚, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐼 𝑛𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑟 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑙𝑒𝑎𝑣𝑒.

To everyone that read this book we must protect Brody at all costs. This sweet sweet man 🥹🖤

Brody and Bria both had a rough childhood. Always let down by someone they love and made to feel they weren’t enough.

𝐼 𝑤𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑡𝑜 𝑗𝑢𝑠𝑡 𝑚𝑎𝑘𝑒 ℎ𝑖 𝑓𝑒𝑒𝑙 𝑠𝑝𝑒𝑐𝑖𝑎𝑙 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑎 𝑑𝑎𝑦. 𝐵𝑒𝑐𝑎𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑒𝑣𝑒𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑔ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑖 𝑓𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑠ℎ𝑖 𝑖𝑠 𝑏𝑟𝑎𝑛𝑑-𝑛𝑒𝑤, ℎ𝑒’ 𝑎𝑙𝑟𝑒𝑎𝑑𝑦 ℎ𝑎 𝑠𝑢𝑐 𝑎𝑛 𝑖𝑚𝑝𝑎𝑐𝑡 𝑜𝑛 𝑚𝑦 𝑙𝑖𝑓𝑒.

The flashbacks to their childhoods were so sad but Brody’s broke my heart so much. Brody and Bria were exactly what each other needed. I love how their friendship started with them working to heal themselves and each other and in the end taught them they are both enough and deserve love - especially Brody. They saw each other for who they really are and still found each other perfect even if they don’t think that about themselves.

Filthy Boy was so much more than your spicy hockey romance. It was about breaking the cycle, healing from your past, forging your own future, and learning your self-worth. Hannah Gray wrote such a special story with Brody and Bria and I love it so much!

BRODY, you sweet, kindhearted, lovable, funny, FILTHY mouthed man 🥹💗🥵 You have taken my top spot of book boyfriends.

I thought I loved the first two books in this series, but Brody and Bria stole my heart. Bria is a badass, strong female who I related to on so many levels. I cried and laughed with her. Her being there for Brody.. and the tattoo.. ugh 🥰

My emotions were all over the place reading this. Brody’s childhood made me cry multiple times then him seeing his dad again.. Cam being the best friend he is and being there for him. The way Brody saw himself just killed me. Bria was exactly what he needed. I loved watching their friendship bloom, and their love grow even if Brody didn’t realize that’s what it was.

The banter, the messiness of their ‘friendship, the spice, ugh it was just everything!

And the ending! I didn’t see that coming and I loved it so much for them. It was the perfect ending to their book, but I really hope to see them again 🥰

Arc Review

Hannah yet again gives us another raw, all consuming heartfelt book following the Puck Boys of Brooks University!

Brody grew up believing he shouldn’t be loved and that he would never love anyone in return. With years of trauma, he constantly deflects from his own feelings with his fists, quick witted mouth and humor. Hockey is the only thing to be a constant in his life. Until he spots Bria walking past his latest flavor of the weeks place. Little does he know Bria is also struggling in the parent department. Broken and defeated, these two seek out an unlikely, yet very needed friendship in one another. Until the lines start to blur and feelings more than friends start to surface.

Brody is fighting Link so hard for that #1 book boyfriend title. I ADORED Brody in past books and was constantly laughing at his charm. The man oozes sex. Literally. Reading about his past had my heart breaking for him a million times over. And Bria? Bria was such a fantastic fmc!! Their friendship was so unlikely and I loved it. The growth, both individually and as friends was so inspiring to watch two people with such deep rooted struggles helping one another 🥹 And the SPICE!!!!! Hannah never fails in that area because I was sweating reading this 🤣🥵 Each book has me saying “this is my new favorite and it stands true every time. I just love this series as a whole and I HIGHLY recommend it for any hockey lovers out there, it will forever be my fav hockey series.

Also, my favorite cover yet. Brody 😍🤤🔥

5 ⭐️s!

Okay, don’t get me wrong here I loved Cam but BRODY FREAKIN O’BRIEN stole my entire heart. I am absolutely in love with this man. He just passed everyone and went straight to the top of book boyfriend.

The CUTEST story of friends to lovers, which I’m normally not a huge fan of, but this was relationship came about so effortlessly it was incredible. There is nothing that gets me more than two damaged souls finding each other and becoming a little less damaged because of it.

I loved how Brody was this big, angry, broody, damaged MMC who was so completely soft for Bria. He wanted so badly for her to care for him and be his best freaking friend, it was heartbreaking and adorable all in one go.

The banter, the friendship, the arguments it was all just such an emotional rollercoaster that I had no intentions of getting off of.

I could not have asked for a better hockey romance. This series has jumped up to one of my absolute favorites.

-college hockey romance
-friends to lovers/friends with benefits
-trauma bonding/broken boy and broken girl
