I need to stop reviewing Arabic books in english but I seriously can't write a book review in Arabic so don't hate this too much.
rating:3.5 stars
This author is one of my favorite arabic writers and this book is actually a screenplay which what I like most from him. I enjoyed reading this book but nothing *really happend* in it.
The plot: It's about a prince who wants to go back to his country and become its king. So there was politics, war and LOVE.
The LOVE: Why is every woman who works for this prince falls in love with him? WHY? Every fu*king woman seriously? No woman could resist his charms. And I couldn't even see why. He's not that good to be honest.
And since every woman is in love with him, OF COURSE he hates women. This prince had serious commitment issues. All he thought about was his country and winning the war. Isn't he a human? He doesn't have feelings? *Good for him, I guess*
The Characters:
The prince: Sometimes a wise man who loves his country, other times a nice person, also someone who has anger management problems and mostly a total bitch.
Women: All of them are idiots who fell for that unstable character and But they did love their country.
The men: I didn't care.
But this book does give good lessons and has beautiful writing. Let me repeat that again: Beautiful writing. It needed repeating since it was really good. And it's short, I read it in public transportation on my to way university.
