I was hoping by reading this book I would make better food choices and magically lose weight. This has not happened yet, but I did learn some interesting things and am trying to incorporate them into my lifestyle.
1. Drinking more water
2. Eating more fruits and vegetables
3. I plan to try edamame (fresh soybean)
4. Eating more whole grains
5. Thinking about cooking fish for dinner once in awhile (baby steps).

I liked this book because it was not extreme in any area and just gave good researched backed information. It had some recipes at the end, but I probably won't try them because this book has got to back to the library.

A practical guide to eating well. Nothing new here, but it's a decent resource for quick information.

I thought this was for women who strength train but it definitely is not. physically active/athletes = moar cardio and the math on the protien doesn't make sense.
