CW: violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment bullying, mpreg (not a warning just a statement bc mpreg is normal for omegaverse but just and fyi)
I like the parts with the family and Shima interactions. Maybe more time spent with the other two delinquents would've been nice too, or perhaps we can expect a spin off series with those other two delinquents and their romantic encounters. I loved this duology and definitely recommend it as an intro to the omegaverse.

Shima is so adorable! I always love it when a manga includes child characters; they are always incredibly cute!!!
Okay, I like this as much as the first volume, even though it almost included a rape plot, which thankfully didn't happen. But, I can say I like this one a little more because the angst element is more pronounced, providing conflicts that make the storyline less boring.
As for the art, to be honest, it's just okay for me. In fact, in some panels, I found myself frowning because Aoi, who was initially depicted as a strong delinquent character, is portrayed as too feminine in some panels. Or maybe it's because he is an omega? Ah, I don't know... What I do know is that I would be very happy if there will be a third volume.
The flow in this volume is a little better where the backstory comes first and then jumps back into the current timeline with Shima and her parents. It does leave a question on if Aoi's friends were correct with their assumption or if he really was just sick given the symptoms and no tests known of. We have yet more "troublemakers" identified as well, though one becomes a good friend and the other a person for them to avoid to the point that even that individual intentionally avoids contact with Aoi's family. Rather a bit of a change of pace after the kidnapping attempt, but it is also probably for the best so they aren't constantly aggravated. That wasn't a good move or in any way appropriate, especially knowing that Aoi already has a mate and has clearly said no repeatedly.

Same review for both volumes since I read them back to back.
4.5/5 stars
Really cute story. I love their relationship and how the whole omegaverse aspect was treated here. You can easily run into some issues with some authors and how these kinds of worlds work but I think here it was delt with really well. Several times you think the story is going a certain way, especially with omegaverse, but instead it pivots another way and I enjoyed that.
It was quite short with only 2 volumes but I think their relationship flowed very naturally.
More of a 3.5 star rating; I feel like the drama was unnecessary and especially since the other alpha male was very creepy. I understand this is an omega-verse story but I was hoping it could do without the potential noncon stuff… I’m just glad that nothing truly happened and that both the main characters continued to be extremely happy. It was very cute to see a bit more of Akane and Aoi’s daughter in this volume and seeing her little adventure with the cat. I wish this series had another volume to really focus on the daughter but I was still happy reading it.

lol wait a minute. Where's the Tsubaki and Haruki spin off? And Chizuruko's??
I enjoyed this volume, but the ending was a little unsatisfying. Like if they're going to mention a second kid let us at least see it!! Even if it's just a picture and not an actual scene or something. I don't love the whole kidnapping trope, but I like what happened in the aftermath. The art was really pretty and it was a pretty good read overall.
I wish this wasn’t the last volume. I feel there are so many plot points and characters that could be explored. Such as Chizuruko-San and her crush. Who is her crush? Akane and Aoi want another kid, I’d love to see that or just how they found out Aoi was pregnant. I thought it was when he was kidnapped but then he said he wasn’t but I am pretty sure that was why he felt so sad because he was pregnant. I feel this had more potential to be more volumes. I hope we get spin offs in the future.

A fun volume two although it left some side characters open for more stories or at least some backstories to give us a few more chapters. Kane and Aoi’s relationship keeps going strong through college and a kidnapping! We get an old friend back with Shima this time and it ends on a happy note. I’d still like to know more of what happened with Kijo and Chizuruko. ??♀?

God I love them so much. I really hope we get a third volume of these cuties.
On a sidenote... I thought this the first time I read this but I REALLY need a volume about Tsubaki and the young master. Younger top x older bottom and also young master x subordinate???? Definitely a need from this author.
