I live in a high desert, I don't see a lot of rain. I see a lot of snow in the winter, but it rains for 5 seconds and then it is done. I read this book hoping to channel a good rainstorm we are trying to have but it just didn't happens and now the sun it out :-( This books is a good way to talk to kids about natural disasters such as floods. This books talks about going to the high school that asks at the shelter. It deals with a scary situation for kids in a not very scary way. I also like the questions and writing prompts at the end so teachers can use it in their classes. I now have to read the whole Katie Woo Series. I also
