I'm going to write an article soon with a close friend about this book and post it as a review because Its been too long i've finished this book but I never really found the time neither the energy nor the psychological capability to write about it and its gruesome details. All i will say for now to just mark the book as 'read' because im too annoyed seeing so many books in my 'x books left to read' for the yearly challenge, is that the Greeks didn't "liberate" Macedonia, they conquered her and destroyed the Macedonian language and culture to the greatest extent they could. They used the threat of both psychological literal weapons, killing many tens of thousands, making more than a hundred thousand people flee their homes and by forcing the rest to forget their own language, their history and their customs under continuous threat for a whole century. They still continue to do so. The greek state is, in other words, still genociding a whole people to further its expansionist agenda. There can be no socialist greek state that doesn't restore the damage done in the past one and a half century.
