Lyubko Deresh (* 10 August 1984, Pystomyty, Ukraine) 鈥� is a contemporary Ukrainian writer. Full name 鈥� Liubomyr Andriyovych Deresh.
Born in Pystomyty near Lviv, in 1984, Deresh graduated from Lviv physics-mathimatics lyceum and got his undergraduate degree in Economics from Lviv University.
At the age of 15 Deresh wrote his first novel, Cult (an excert from Cult was translated by Peter Constantine and published in the "Fiction" magazine in 2008), which he managed to publish 3 years later in 2001 when he turned eighteen. Young writer's quickly gained prominence thanks to the success of Cult. The novel has been translated into multiple languages.
Afterwards, Deresh published a number of successful novels, among them 芦Of lizard generation禄, 芦袗褉褏械禄, 芦Intent!禄, 芦A bit of darkness禄, 芦Yakov's head禄).
