What Members Thought
I loved this book. The author decided to go a different route with this story. It’s not the Kristen Ashley we are accustom to. I loved the change of style. Change can be wonderful like in the case of Fast Lane. There is enough of the author’s usual voice to know she wrote this but enough of a change in style to keep us on our toes.
Probably in the 2 1/2 stars range. Maybe.
I wanted to love this. I would have settled for enjoying it, but, sadly, it made me profoundly irritated that I keep hoping for something from a recent KA book that I never receive. It might behoove me to just re-read the older stuff I loved.
Anyway, I love a good oral history but fictional oral histories give me trouble. It's just hard to not know inherently who is talking. I thought about this for a long time this morning after finishing the book, and ...more
