رواية "الأبله" واحدة من أكثر النماذج تعبيراً عن قدرة دوستويفسكي على النظر في دواخل النفس الإنسانية فهذا "الأبله" هو أمير، من سلالة أمراء معروفة في تاريخ روسيا، لكن شخصيته ومسار حياته لا يشبهان أبداً أولئك الأمراء الذين يأمرون فيُطاعون. بل هو شخص طيّب بسيط، يمكن استدرار عاطفته والتأثير عليه بمجرّد إبداء الرقة أو التعبير عن الحاجة او الحزن أو الأسى... ولذلك يبدو "أبله" في نظر المجتمع.

Inspired by the works of Gogol, Pushkin, and Karamzin, as well as English and French authors, Poor Folk is written in the form of letters between the two main characters, Makar Devushkin and Varvara Dobroselova, who are poor third cousins twice removed. The novel showcases the life of poor people, their relationship with rich people, and poverty in general, all common themes of literary naturalism. A deep but odd friendship develops between them until Dobroselova loses her interest in literature, and later in communicating with Devushkin after a rich widower Mr. Bykov proposes to her. Devushkin, a prototype of the clerk found in many works of naturalistic literature at that time, retains his sentimental characteristics; Dobroselova abandons art, while Devushkin cannot live without literature.

Contemporary critics lauded Poor Folk for its humanitarian themes. While Vissarion Belinsky dubbed the novel Russia's first "social novel" and Alexander Herzen called it a major socialist work, other critics detected parody and satire. The novel uses a complicated polyphony of voices from different perspectives and narrators. Initially offered by Dostoyevsky to the liberal-leaning magazine Fatherland Notes, the novel was published in the almanac, St. Petersburg Collection, on January 15, 1846. It became a huge success nationwide. Parts of it were translated into German by Wilhelm Wolfsohn and published in an 1846/1847 magazine. الكتاب –وه� في تسعة فصول- بمضمونه العام مجموعة مقالات في المرأة وحبها وبغضها ولؤمها ولكن بعض هذه المقالات اتخذ صفة الحكاية القصصية..
وبعضها تأملات وخواطر في الحب والمرأة..

عدّه بعضهم تكملة لكتاب رسائل الأحزان بينما رأى فيه بعضهم كتابا مختلفا لا يكمل الأول ..
لكني أرى فيه تتمة للحديث عن الحب والمرأة كما في الرسائل .. حتى أن الرافعي رحمه الله يقول في مقدمة الطبعة الأولى لكتابه السحاب الأحمر:
لما كتبت رسائل الأحزان في فلسفة الجمال والحب كنت في تدبيره والرأي فيه كمن يؤرخ عهدا من شبابه بعد أن رقّت سنّه وذهب يقينه من الدنيا ولم يبق إلا ظنه ..
فهو يكتب والكلام يحن لديه والقلم يئن في يديه.. وكل وصف جاء به من الشباب قال رحمة الله عليه!
......(تم الاختصار لطول المقدمة).....
كنت أستوحي الرسائل من تلك النفس التي طارت بي طيرتها البطيء وقوعها فإني لأستعر بها فكرا واشتعل منها خيالا..
وكنت لأرى الفصول تخلص من يدي حين اكتبها كما تخلص سبائك الذهب بعناصرها لا بالصناعة..
وكأن هذا القلم كالحديد إذا أحْمـِـي عليه.. ليست يد لمسته من أيدي المعاني إلا وضع فيها سمة النار..
ثم جاء الكتاب وما أكاد أصدق أن الزمن مرّ به.. و تم قبل أن يُتم القمر دورة شهر واحد .. فنبهني ذلك إلى أن استوفي الكلام في الحب استمدادا من أرواح أخرى.. فوضعت هذا السحاب الأحمر..
ثم يقول في ختام المقدمة:
والناس في هذا الحب أصناف فواحد يجاهد زلات قد وقعت وهو المحب الآثم..
وآخر يجاهد شهوات تهمّ أن تقع وهو المحب المُمتحن..
وثالث أمن هذه وهذه وإنما يجاهد خطرات الفكر وهو المحب ليحب فقط..
ورابع كالقرابة والصديق عجز الناس أن يجدوا في لغاتهم لفظا يلبس هذه العاطفة فيهم فألحقوها بأدنى الأشياء إليها في المعنى وهو الحب..
وعلى الثالث وحده بنيت رسائل الأحزان.. وعلى بعض الرأي في الباقيات كسرت هذا الكتاب..

ويتكون هذا الكتاب من ستة أبواب متدرّجة في تسلسلها يؤسّس كل منها لما يليه، وتضمّ جميعاً ثلاثة عشر فصلاً، ويتكون الباب الأول بعنوان “أس� علم النفس التطوّري� من فصلين، يعالج أولهما الحركات العلمية التي قادت إلى نشوء هذا العلم، ويستعرض الفصل الثاني لبّ الطبيعة البشرية المتمثلة في الآليات النفسية المتطوّرة، كما أتى الباب الثاني تحت عنوان “مشكلا� البقاء”� ويتكوّن من فصل واحد يعالج محاربة قوى الطبيعة العدائية: الحصول على الطعام وإنتقائه، المأوى والمجال الحيوي، محاربة المفترسين، وغوائل الطبيعة. أما الباب الثالث فيعالج تحدّيات الجنس والإقتران، وهو المحوري في إهتمامات المؤلف، أما الباب الرابع فيعالج تحدّيات التنشئة الوالدية وعلاقات القرابة في فصلين اثنين، يطرح أولهما مشكلات التنشئة الوالدية، ثم يعالج في الفصل الذي يليه مسائل القرابة من منظور تطوّري وخصوصاً كل من نظرية هاملتون في اللياقة المتضمنة وفرضيات ترايفرز حول علاقات الوالدين الذرية، أما الباب الخامس المخصص لمشكلات نهج الحياة في الجماعة فهو أطول أبواب الكتاب حيث يضم أربعة فصول تعالج تباعاً كل من: قضايا التحالفات التعاونية المميزة للبشر، وتطوّر التعاون، وسيكولوجية الصداقة وتكاليفها، ثم ينتقل إلى قضايا الحرب والعدوان في الفصل الذي يليه، أما الفصل الثالث عشر والأخير من الكتاب فيمثّل أهمّية خاصة علمياً وأكاديمياً بالنسبة للإختصاصيين في علم النفس، فهو يستعرض بعض مجالات علم النفس الكلاسيكية وينتقد الحدود المصطنعة بينها، منادياً بتجاوزها وصولاً إلى رؤية الإنسان الكلي الذي يفلت من أي محاولة لإختزال كيانه في نظرية أو مقاربة أحادية. وهكذا يحيط الكتاب بجلّ قضايا الحياة البشرية في تنوّعها وتحدّياتها وأساليب التعامل معها، ملقياً بذلك أضواء جديدة، ومقدّماً تفسيرات علمية موثقة كما يبدو ظاهرياً من البديهيات.

يحمل هذا الكتاب “عل� النفس التطوري .. العلم الجديد للعقل� لمؤلفه العالم الأمريكي دافيد باس أحد أبرز رواد هذا المذهب، أحدث مذاهب علم النفس نشأة والمعروف بعلم النفس التطوري، والذي يقدم منظورا جديدا لتفسير الظواهر الحياتية الإنسانية المعروفة على مختلف المستويات العقلية والمعرفية والثقافية والانفعالية والسلوكية الفردية منها والجماعية، حيث “ينك� على دراسة العقل البشري وآليات عمله، ويهتم بالمنظور الأكثر اتساعا بالإجابة عن أسئلة أساسية من مثل: لماذا العقل بالطريقة التي يعمل بها؟ وما هي الوظائف التي يقوم بها العقل بناء لآلية عمله؟ وكيف يتفاعل عمل هذه الآلية مع مدخلات البيئة والمحيط، ووفق أي سياقات وشروط ومثيرات كي تنتج السلوك البشري�. الكتاب الذي صدر عن مشروع كلمة بأبوظبي في 900 صفحة من القطع المتوسط يبرز ويعرض مرتكزات هذا العلم الجديد والاكتشافات المدهشة من قبل من يمارسونه، وقد ترجمه عالم جليل هو د.مصطفى حجازي أحد أبرز علماء النفس العرب، وقدم له بمقدمة مهمة عرّف وأرخ فيها للمذهب وما قدمه علماؤه كما شرح للكثير من تفاصيله مؤكدا أن الكثير مما جاء في الكتاب يمثل تحديا استفزازيا للمعروف والسائد من التفسيرات. يرى دافيد باس أن علم النفس التطوري “عل� جديد ثوري، وتوليف حقيقي لمبادئ علم النفس المعاصر والبيولوجيا التطورية”� ويحدد ركائز هذا العلم في “فه� آليات العقل / الدماغ البشري من منظور تطوري� من خلال أربعة أسئلة مفاتيح “أول� لماذا صمم العقل بالطريقة التي هو عليها ـ أي ما هي العمليات السببية الذي ولد العقل البشري وصممته أو شكلته في شكله الراهن؟ ثانيا ما هو تصميم العقل البشري ـ أي آلياته وأجزاؤه المكونة له، وما هي طريقة تنظيمها؟ ثالثا ما هي وظائف أجزائه المكونة له وما هي بنيتها التنظيمية ـ أي ما هي الأشياء التي صمم العقل للقيام بها؟ رابعا كيف تتفاعل مدخلات البيئة الراهنة مع تصميم العقل الإنساني، كي تنتج السلوك الملاحظ؟�. هذه الأسئلة تنبثق منها عشرات المرتكزات والتفاصيل الجوهرية في الحياة الإنسانية وعلاقاتها المخلفة على كافة الأصعدة والمستويات، يطرحها الكتاب محاولا الكشف عن أسرارها وتجلياتها في العلاقات الإنسانية: لماذا يموت الناس؟ لماذا الرجال أعنف في عدوانيتهم من النساء؟ هل لدى البشر آليات متطورة للقتل الإنساني؟ لماذا يتزوج الرجال وأي الفوائد التكيفية الممكنة التي قد يكون أسلافنا الرجال قد كسبوها من الزواج هل لدى الرجال تكيفات اغتصاب متطورة؟ هل طورت النساء تكيفات مضادة للاغتصاب؟. إن ديفيد باس يفتح لنا عالما من دقائق الأسرار والكشوفات التي نعيشها في علاقاتنا الجنسية والبيئية والمجتمعية والثقافية وغيرها، ليشكل الكتاب “خارط� طريق واضحة لهذا المذهب الجديد وتتمثل غايته في جلاء أسرار كبرى حول الوجود البشري؟ من أين أتينا؟ وما هي صلاتنا بأشكال الحياة الأخرى؟ وما هي الآليات العقلية التي تحدد معنى أن نكون بشرا؟� وهو لذلك يعالج القضايا البشرية الكبرى في كل زمان ومكان والمتمثلة في مشكلات: البقاء، الاقتران، التكاثر، التنشئة الوالدية والقرابة، ونهج الحياة في الجماعة في أبعادها التعاونية والغيرية والتحالفية كما في صراعاتها وعدوانيتها، ويدرس في كل منها الحلول التكيفية التي طورتها لها البشرية من خلال تكون الآليات النفسية المتطورة. يتكون الكتاب من ستة أبواب متدرجة في تسلسلها يؤسس كل منها لما يليه وتضم جميعا 13 فصلا، الباب الأول علم النفس التطوري يعالج في فصلين الحركات العلمية التي قادت إلى نشوء هذا العلم وتاريخ الفكر التطوري وتوسعادته بعد داروين، ثم يستعرض المحطات الكبرى في تاريخ نشوء الجنس البشري وصولا إلى الإنسان العاقل الذي هو جد البشرية الراهنة، ثم لب الطبيعة البشرية المتمثلة في الآليات النفسية المتطورة، كما يعالج طرائق البحث ومصادر جمع الأدلة في هذا العلم واختبارها وكذلك مصادر الأدلة على المشكلات التكيفية. ويتكون الباب الثاني “مشكلا� البقاء� من فصل واحد يعالج محاربة قوى الطبيعة العدائية : الحصول على الطعام وانتقائه، المأوى والمجال الحيوي ومحاربة المفترسيين وغوائل الطبيعة، أما الباب الثالث فيعالج تحديات الجنس والاقتران، وهو الموضوع المحوري في اهتمامات المؤلف حيث يتناول قضايا الجنس واستراتيجيات الاقتران طويل المدى وقصير المدى (العلاقات العابرة قبل الزواج وبعده) لدى الرجال والنساء وتفضيلاتهم المتبادلة والفروق على هذا الصعيد، وتأثر كل ذلك بالسياقات البيئية، وانعكاس كل من تفضيلات الجنسين على سلوكيات وتكتيكات الجنس الآخر في اجتذاب الأفران. تحديات التنشئة الوالدية وعلاقات القرابة يعالجان الباب الرابع في فصلين أولهما مشكلات التنشئة الوالدية بدءا من السؤال لماذا تستثمر الأمهات أكثر من الآباء الذرية، حيث يطرح آراء طريفة موثقة بدراسات علمية دقيقة، كما يعالج الرعاية الوالدية من منظور تطوري حيث يبين أن الذرية تشكل العربات الناقلة لموروثات الوالدين مما يدعوهما إلى الاستثمار المكثف فيها، ويعرج الفصل على مختلف ألوان الصراع ما بين الوالدين والذرية بدءا بالصراع ما بين الأم والجنين في الرحم. ويمثل الباب الخامس أطول أبواب الكتاب وخصص المؤلف لمشكلات نهج الحياة في الجماعة ويضم أربعة فصول تعالج تباعا كل من قضايا التحالفات التعاونية المميزة للبشر وتطور التعاون وسيكولوجية الصداقة وتكاليفها ثم ينتقل إلى قضايا الحرب والعدوان حيث يطرح مسألة العدوان بما هي مشكلة تكيفية، ثم يدرس أسباب ارتفاع عدوانية الرجال مقارنة بالنساء، وينتهي بالأدلة التجريبية على أنماط مميزة من العدوان ضمن أفراد الجنس الواحد وبين الجنسين، وينتهي ببحث العدوان الجنسي على النساء والدفاعات ضده والغيرة الجنسية بما هي ظاهرة كونية، كما يتوقف عند تكتيكات الاستحواذ على القرين والفروق بين الجنسين في ذلك. وهكذا يحيط الكتاب ـ كما يشير د.مصطفى حجازي ـ بجل قضايا الحياة البشرية في تنوعها وتحدياتها وأساليب التعامل معها، ملقيا بذلك أضواء جديدة، ومقدما تفسيرات موثقة �.]]>
