وفي الوقت الذي تسعى فيه الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية إلى إيجاد طرق تحافظ على إستمرار تميزها الإبداعي، يظهر "جوبز" بإعتباره خير دليل على القدرة على الإبتكار وإمكانية تطبيق الخيال على أرض الواقع.

أرسلته الجمعية الأفريقية من بريطانيا ، لكشف مجاهل أفريقية ، و سافر من بريطانيا لسورية أولا لكي يتعلم مبادئ اللغة العربية ليدخل أفريقيا من شمالها العربي ، ثم يسافر لحيفا ثم عكا ثم مصر ومن هناك يتعرف على بعض التجار الذاهبين الي بلاد النوبة ومن ثم يأخذ وجهة أخرى غير الذي بعث من أجلها ، وهكذا سافر بركهارت في بلاد النوبة بدء من الدر وأنتهاء بأخر حدود المحس
وهي حدود كشاف النوبة في ذلك الوقت ، يقول بركهارت خلال إقامتي في صعيد مصر ، جمعت طائفة كبيرة من المعلومات عن أحوال بلاد النوبة ورتبت رحلتي وأشتريت بعيرين هجينين قويين من أقوي الأبل وأصلبها عودا ، لرحلة أستغرقت معي خمسة وثلاثين يوما بدء من أسوان الى المحس والعكس وقد زودني حاكم ( أسنا ) التركي حسن بك وهو قبرصي الأصل بتوصية قوية لأبناء سليمان كاشف الثلاثة الذين يحكمون بلاد النوبة فيما بينهم .

Built to Last, the defining management study of the nineties, showed how great companies triumph over time and how long-term sustained performance can be engineered into the DNA of an enterprise from the very beginning.

But what about the company that is not born with great DNA? How can good companies, mediocre companies, even bad companies achieve enduring greatness?

The Study
For years, this question preyed on the mind of Jim Collins. Are there companies that defy gravity and convert long-term mediocrity or worse into long-term superiority? And if so, what are the universal distinguishing characteristics that cause a company to go from good to great?

The Standards
Using tough benchmarks, Collins and his research team identified a set of elite companies that made the leap to great results and sustained those results for at least fifteen years. How great? هي زوجة أليكسي كارنين الموظف السامي في الدولة (وزير)، وهو يكبرها بعشرين عاماً. أكسبها زواجها رفعة في المجتمع فصارت من كبريات سيدات المجتمع في بطرسبرج. لكنها لم تكن سعيدة في زواجها، فزوجها كهل ومشغول عنها دائماً بأعماله والإدارية وأهدافه الوظيفية. أنجبت منه صبياً هو سيرج عمره ثماني سنوات أحبته وتعلقت به كثيراً.

وآنا امرأة معشوقة تعلّق بها فرونسكي وشغل بها عن غيرها من النساء "كيتي"، وهو على استعداد للتضحية بكل شيء في سبيلها "وظيفته-علاقته بأمه..". وهو إلى ذلك عاشقة كانت تعاني خواءً روحياَ في حبها ملأه الضابط الفارس، فأصبحت زوجة لرجلين (أليكسي كارنين- وأليكسي فرونسكي) وأما لولد شرعي سيرج وطفلة زنا أنوشكا. لذلك وقعت في حيرة من أمرها فهي تريد الطلاق من أليكسي كارنين، ولكنها تريد الاحتفاظ بابنها سيرج في الوقت نفسه، وهذا أمر صعب المنال. إنها أمام سراب الحياة ولن يروي ظمأها قربها من أليكسي كارنين ولا تعلّقها بفرونسكي. وهي في صراع مع نفسها ومع المجتمع. فمجتمعها يرفض علاقتها بعشيقها ويعتبر ابنتها أنوشكا طفلة زنا ويعتبرها زانية. لذلك نبذها الآخرون وعاشت عزلة قاتلة. وحين تخلو إلى ذاتها تعيش صراعاً داخلياً بين آنا الصالحة التي تكبر في زوجها صفات السماح والأنبل فتطلب منه الصفح عنها عندما كانت في حمى النفاس، وتذكر نفسها فهي الزوجة الشرعية أم سيرج لا أنا التي عشقت فرونسكي! إنها تحتضر ولا تحتاج إلى شيء سوى الغفران. وعندما تشفي من مرضها تعود آنا الأخرى عشيقة فرونسكي التي لا تقوى على فراقه ولا على الاقتراب من زوجها أليكسي كارنين.

وآنا أنثى حين تحب تريد أن تمتلك رجلها فتغار عليه، والغيرة الشديدة مرض قاتل. لقد أدركت هذه الدرجة من الغيرة فظنت أن فرونسكي تحول عنها إلى سواها ولم تعد أثيرة لديه، لذلك صارت يائسة ولا سبيل لها إلى الخلاص من ذلك إلا بالموت.

- وجبة قصيرة دسمة؛ فعدد صفحاتها (١٩٩) صفحة؛ وهي أقل روايات أيمن العتوم في عدد صفحاتها.
- مشاهد مُكثّفة، سريعة الانتقال، عميقة الأثر العاطفي.
- تتحدّث عن طبيب عبقريّ يتناهشه عددٌ من الأمراض؛ بعضُها يمرّ به أكثرُنا، وربّما تقول وأنت تقرؤها: هذه الشخصيّة تتحدّث عنّي، هذا أنا.
- تجعلك تتساءل: هل هذا الذي وقع فيه البطل هو مرض؟ لقد وقعتُ فيما وقع فيه تمامًا ولم أكن أعرف!
- واقعية في تناولها وطرحها؛ تبحث عن سبب المشكلة أكثر مِمّا تقدّم حَلاًّ.
- تطرح عددًا من الأسئلة الوجودية والهواجس الإنسانية المَرَضيّة عن الحياة والموت والنجاح والإخفاق، ومحاولة فَهم تناقضات النفس البشريّة.
- تحاول الإجابة عن سؤال: هل يعرف المريض النفسيّ أنه مريض؟
- مختلفة عن روايات أيمن العتوم السابقة كلّها؛ فبعد أدب السجون وأدب الحرب وأدب الملاحم التاريخية؛ تأتي هذه ضمن روايات الأمراض النفسية.
- تعتمد على البحث الذّاتي للبطل عن حلّ لمشكلته مع وعيه التّام بجوانب تلك المشكلة أو المصيبة.
- تعتمد على فكرة: الحلّ هنا، ولكنّني بحثتُ عنه هُناك!
- تجارب البطل وتجاوبه مع الأديان والأفكار والمُعتقدات تكون جزءًا من الحل والمشكلة معًا؛ وهذا هو قمّة المفارقة في سلوك البطل.

يرى نورًا، ومع كل جملة قرآنية يستلْهم هدًى..

يوقد بها في داخله شمعةَ هدايةٍ

قصص النبيين، وعِبَر الأوّلين إلا ويشعر بها في قلبه، ويتصوّرها في خياله.

فتح لها نافذةَ قلبه

وقد حرصتُ أن أجعل هذا الكتاب الصغير كالدرس التطبيقي للتدبّر بأنواعه:
إعادةَ صياغةٍ للآية بأسلوب قد يفهمه أبناء هذا الزمن الذي قلّ فيه من يفهم لغة القرآن
يقف تحت ظلال كلمة، فيطوف حول تلك الظلال
