Now, back to the characters- Ella and Boyd... I liked them. There really isn't much to say about them to be fair... nothing special. For me the star of the book was Boyd's son, Mason. He was the ray of sunshine to this rather pale novel....
Brew is what I would consider a sweet love story with a dash of sexiness way way way down in the book hahaha.

With the masterpiece of Ren and Della's story, I was a little nervous to read Jacob's story because let's be honest here ok? besides the obvious fact that there was a fear that this book perhaps wouldn't be as good. Secondly, I thought about how difficult it would be to read from Jacob's prospective : to relive and remind us how difficult it must have been to witness such a powerful love and to have seen it end so soon.
These characters may not be 'real' but the burden, the fear and the unbelievable anxiety of loss felt true with every single flip of the page.

Destructive King is faultless. It made me laugh and cry, it made me swoon and blush. I always get excited to read scenes with the entire family and the interactions in this book just made me fall for this entire crazy mafia family so much more.

Destructive King was also a whirlwind of so much anger, sadness, revenge and lust. Oh my God the angst and lust!!!!! Asher and Annie could burn the pages of any book! I was honestly not prepared for the angst..the whole enemies to lovers trope� *chef’s kiss*

Making Up by Helena Hunting was a fun read and I enjoyed reading it but it just wasn't one of my favourite book by her.
Cosy and Griffin's story is actually fun and makes for an entertaining read.
I'm still on the fence about these two characters though. I'm not sure I love either of them. There is an age gap between them and sometimes it's glaring obvious especially when it comes to Cosy's dramatic conclusions about things which could have been easily solved by just communicating. I think that is one thing that made me not enjoy this book as much as her other books i.e, the drama. It was so over the top that I felt like I needed a breather.
