]]> 8134044 لقد حاولت آن سوليفان ببساطة شديدة تعليم اللغة لهيلين كيلر بنفس الطريقة التى يتعلم بها كل طفل من المحيطين به ولكن عن طريق أبجدية الأيدى لكونها تفتقد المقدرة إلى السمع. وسيجد القارئ فى متن هذا الكتاب وصفاً شائقاً للكيفية التى انتبهت بها هيلين إلى "فكرة اللغة" ذاتها، حينما تحققت بعد حيرة طويلة من العلاقة بين الأحاسيس الملسية فى يديها "الناجمة عن إستخدام أبجدية الأيدى" وبين الأشياء الحقيقية الموجودة فى العالم.

ونظراً لكون هيلين أول شخص كفيف أصم يتلقى تعليماً كاملاً (حتى المرحلة الجامعية) فقد اعتبرت أكثر من مجرد "فرد من البشر".. إذ اعتبرت "حدثاً تعليمياً". وكان العالم كله فى تلك الفترة يقرأ أخبار تعليمها بكل شغف ويتابع التقارير الخاصة بذلك باهتمام شديد، كما تلقت هيلين العون من أجل مواصلة تعليمها فى صورة هدايا من الكتب وفى صورة هبات مالية من أهل الخير فى كل أنحاء العالم. وشمل الإهتمام بتلك الفتاة الفذة ومعلمتها البارعة ليس المعلمون فقط بل الكتاب والمثقفون وغيرهم من المتهمين بحياة العقل والروح، وهذا الكتاب الذى بين يديك كتبته هيلين كيلر وهى بعد طالبة فى الجامعة عام 1902، لتروى لك لمحات من حياتها وقصتها مع تجربة التعليم خصوصاً فى مراحلها الأولى. وقد تخرجت هيلين فى كلية راد كليف Radcleffe بمرتبة الشرف عام 1904، واختارت منذ ذلك الوقت مسار حياة كانت قد بدأته بالفعل فى الحادية عشرة من عمرها حين قامت بتنظيم حفل شاى من أجل الخير تولت فيه جمع بعض التبرعات المالية من أجل تعليم طفلة أخرى أصغر منها ومحرومة مثلها من نعمتى السمع والبصر.]]> 175 Helen Keller 9770157457 G. 0 to-read 3.96 1902

هذاالروائي العظيم الذي مزق العذاب جسده على مدى ستين عاماً كاملة. ما عرف للطفولة معنى, ولا للشباب صبوة, وجاءت شيخوخته امتداداً لماضيه: عذاب... معاناة, أرق وقلق... إنه القدر الذي يقسو عليه لكنه يعجز عن قهره, فكان مبدعاً خلاقاً, حول آلامه إلى رجاء. إنه أشبه بحبات الحنطى تحت حجر الرحى, يطحنها لتصبح عجين خبز يسد جوع الجياع.

ثمة جاذبية استثنائية في القصص التي يتصدى الأيتام لبطولتها، لأنها بطولة حقيقية. عندما تخرج إلى العالم، وتتصدى إليه بصدرٍ مكشوف، دون منظومة اجتماعية تعمل على دعمك وحمايتك. يبدو الأمر منطقيًا إذا تذكّرنا أكثر قصص الطفولة التي تركت آثارها في قلوبنا؛ هايدي، آني، طرزان، سارة أو سالي، أوليفر تويست، توم سوير وحتى هاري بوتر. إنّ هؤلاء هم الأبطال، الذين نتعلّم من خلالهم أن نحبَّ الحياة، وأن ننتمي للعالم حقًا، بتعبير جودي آبوت.

]]> 3287684 من أنا؟ وكيف صرت أنا أنا؟ ماذا أريد؟ وأين أقف؟ وإلى أين أتجه؟ وأي الأوقات والأمكنة حملتني وسافرت بي حتى هذه اللحظة، التي أشرع فيها في حفر ملامحي بإزميل من صدق على هذه الأوراق، التي لربما كان لها شأن ذات يوم؟
للصدق وحده فهي تبدأ منين وتنتهي إلي، وقد لا يكون لها من شأن عند أحد غيري. سأكتفي باحتفالي بها، على طريقتي عندما أرفع القلم عن آخر كلمة بآخر سطر. وحدي سأشتري كعكة صغيرة وشموعاً وزجاجة جميلة محرمة. سأكوم أوراقي هذه على المقعد المقابل. وسأرفع صوت الموسيقى بالقدر الذي يليق بتلك الساعة، ووحدي سأرقص وأشغل السجائر وأشرب الأقداح، وسأطلق حينها كل الشتائم التي أحفظها، والتي لا أحفظها، وسأنشد كل القصائد التي أحفظها والتي لا أحفظها، سأفعل كل هذا وأكثر.. وأكثر. تماماً كذلك الذي يحتفل بعيد ميلاده، وحيداً في بلاد لا يعرف بها أحداً، ولا يتكلم إلا اليسير من الكلمات أهلها.

أحب أن تبدأ الأشياء بالأسئلة، وتنتهي بالأسئلة، وما بين هذا الحشد من علامات الاستفهام، في البدء والخاتمة، يليق بالمرء أن يقول أنه قد أنجز عملاً طيباً، لأن أسئلته تلك قد أنجبت عالماً جديداً من الأسئلة الأعمق والأدق، فاللعنة على الإجابات وعلى كل الذين يجعلون إجاباتهم نهاياتنا!

ليس أن نتساءل عن كأس: ما هو، كأن نتساءل عن شخص ما: من هو، ولا عن لغز في هذا الكون، ولا عن خلق أو حقيقة أو، أو، أو حتى لا تنتهي الأشياء! حسناً.. سأبدأ من المكان والوقت، الرحم الذي تتوالد منه الأقدار والقصص والحكايات المؤلمة، وتلك الأخرى الجميلة، وتلك الجميلة والقبيحة في آن!

كتبت هذا العمل بين 1999-2005، هذا كتاب اجتهدت ألا أصنفه، فصدت منه أن تعرفوا زاهي الجبالي، هذا الذي احتمالاً أكيداً لتمام الـ 19 قاتلاً في سبتمبر أمريكا، فهو ألإرعابي الـ20، وكانت احتمالاً أوثق لتمام قائمة الـ26ـ فهو الإرهابي الـ27 في السعودية، واحترت كثيراً في الطريقة التي أقدم بها هذين الاحتمالين، وأخيراً رأيت أن يمضي العمل هكذا عفواً، فسحته لزاهي، يتحدث عن نفسه، على طريقته، التي لا أسميها!

لا يمكن قراءة هذه الرواية ـ التي صدرت عن دار دال للنشر بترجمة جيدة لمها سعود ـ إلا ويشعر القارئ أنه مخطوف الأنفاس، وبأنه في قلب الجحيم، لدرجة تساءلتُ مراراً: أليس من المعقول أن يكون الجحيم هو الحياة على الأرض، وبأن البشر واهمون إذ يتخيلون أن الجحيم هو في مكان آخر!!

صحيح أن القصة التي تدور حولها أحداث الرواية، عن امرأتين أفغانيتين، مريم وليلى، مريم ابنة الحرام، لرجل أفغاني ثري، له ثلاث زوجات، لكنه وإثر علاقة عابرة مع امرأة وضيعة، وجد نفسه أباً لطفلة، لم يجرؤ على الاعتراف بها، لأنه سيشوه سمعته وسمعة زوجاته الثلاث وأبنائه، فعاشت مريم مع أمها، حياة بائسة لكنها كانت تحب والدها كثيراً، وتحلم أنه ذات يوم سوف يفتح له بيتها.. لكنه وبعد وفاة أمها منتحرة، أسرع بتزويجها من رجل يكبرها بأكثر من ثلاثين سنة، أرمل وله ابن توفي غرقاً.. تذعن مريم لمشيئة والدها وتكتم ألمها ، وتعيش مع زوجها خادمة.. ولم تنجح بأن تنجب له ولداً، فاتخذ من ذلك عذراً لضربها وتحقيرها ومعاملتها كما لو أنها حيوان، وتَفجّر حقده عليها ساحقاً ومروعاً، لدرجة أنه أجبرها ذات يوم أن تمضغ الحصى رغماً عنها، مستمتعاً بصوت تكسّر أسنانها..
