<![CDATA[SINtendo Dungeons and D Cups: The Decimator Demoness of Dark Desires: SINtendo Dungeons and D-Cups Book 5 (Kreme Kustom Single 127)]]> 154887002 Over 15,000 Words of Kreme!

More than a year and a half has passed since Nathan played Dungeons and D Cups. It was an app he downloaded one night when their regular dungeon-master couldn't show up to host the regular D&D sessions he and his three friends had. But SINtendo Dungeons and D Cups was anything but merely a game... pulling Nathan's hot mother Marissa into the game where his friends took on the appearances and strengths of their randomly generated characters to savagely defile her. Yet Nathan struck back with his own quest for revenge, and one by one he used his friend's mothers in various Dungeons and D Cups games, corrupting and ruining their luscious bodies in various kinky ways.

But all this time later, one of the other players has an agenda of their own, and fittingly they have chosen Mother's Day as the day to unleash a game character called the Decimator Demoness of Dark Desires upon Nathan.

Living his perverted blissful life with Marissa at his side, Nathan and she are very shocked to find themselves violently pulled back into the world of SINtendo Dungeons and D Cups when sparks fly from their phones. Neither had even thought much about the fact they still had the app installed, certainly hadn't activated it to play another game. But inside the game world, Nathan is even more shocked to see that his mother has been reverted to the innocent maiden she was that first fateful night his friends defiled her. Similarly he too has reverted to the character he was randomly assigned, becoming Nathan the Noble Knight.

Something has been done to them even worse, a truly depraved prize removed with the innocence put back into Marissa's milf body, and both of them want that innocence taken away again. The Decimator Demoness of Dark Desires appears, presenting Nathan and Marissa with an all-new quest, one that if they can solve the mystery and find what former player summoned her, what former player is her new master, promises to reward them with all the corruption and SINtendo inspired sin they can ever enjoy. But if they should fail, Nathan will never have the depraved seedy life his quest for revenge left him with.

Spit back out into the real world, Nathan and Marissa are left with only one choice, to go on a Mother's Day quest to revisit each of his friends and their mothers, to figure out which of them summoned the Decimator Demoness in order to fulfill what the demoness described as a desperate need they suffer from.

Will it be Nathan's friend Wendall, who became a wizard and used his magic to do dirty things with Nathan's mother? Or could it be his mother Tammie who was turned into a sex-crazed bimbo Nathan definitely did a number on. Or might it be his friend Owen, the sleaziest son-of-a-bitch Nathan knew who always did want to corrupt Marissa for his own enjoyment, becoming an ogre and brutalizing her body? What about Owen's mother, Nadine, who after playing the game was defeated by Nathan and left with very little actual intelligence and plenty of influence due to her Medusa stare that could arouse anyone she happened to look at? If not them, could it be Nathan's final friend Dwayne who has been working HARD to turn his sexy older stepsister back from a fairy fleshlight that she was transformed into at the hands of his own twisted mother, Wendy? Could any of them have the unfulfilled need and twisted desire needed to summon the Decimator?

And this is one Mother's Day quest that will end with a choice Nathan may be unable to make... a choice between the innocent version of his mother or the slut she became helping him get back at his friends.

It's time to take those D Cups back into the Dungeon, with an all new original Dungeons and D Cups adventure that has the most unexpected mind-bending ending you ever imagined!]]>

In Bookshops & Bonedust, a prequel to Legends & Lattes, author Travis Baldree takes us on a journey of high fantasy, first loves, and second-hand books.

Viv's career with the notorious mercenary company Rackam's Ravens isn't going as planned.

Wounded during the hunt for a powerful necromancer, she's packed off against her will to recuperate in the sleepy beach town of Murk¡ªso far from the action that she worries she'll never be able to return to it.

What's a thwarted soldier of fortune to do?

Spending her hours at a beleaguered bookshop in the company of its foul-mouthed proprietor is the last thing Viv would have predicted, but it may be both exactly what she needs and the seed of changes she couldn't possibly imagine.

Still, adventure isn't all that far away. A suspicious traveler in gray, a gnome with a chip on her shoulder, a summer fling, and an improbable number of skeletons prove Murk to be more eventful than Viv could have ever expected.]]>

<![CDATA[The Hot Springs Horror (Kreme Kustom Single Book 121)]]> 96028697
For generations there has been a legend told of the forbidden hot springs of Mars Mountain. Many tell the tale as pure fiction, others tell of ghostly hauntings, and still others say that Mars Mountain has an unusual name because of alien interference in the natural order of nature itself. But the truth of the Hot Springs Horror may be met face to face in a diabolically twisted temptational manner seven travelers on a chartered bus are very unprepared for one wintery day.

Waking from a sudden jolt on the chilly chartered bus, Todd is doing well to shake off the idle fantasies he frequently has about his father's new wife Leslie. She's the woman who never had children in her first marriage so worries over Todd like the son she never had... never knowing his immature fantasies mostly involve her treating him in very different ways. But there are more things to worry about than idle fantasies, as Todd, his father Danny, and Leslie find a very real trouble facing their family trip.

Similarly jolted are the brilliant but beautiful and always sharp-minded Georgia, a beautiful Asian social media model and influencer, traveling the country with her boyfriend and promoter Kyle. And while they may be caught up in the way this unexpected trouble could be spun for increased viewership and followers once they regain cell service to upload, Kyle always has kinky ideas in mind for his sexy girlfriend and her online popularity.

Finally, there is Sammy, the nursing student who fears more than just confrontation and being discovered as a true introvert, a sweet pretty brunette who took a series of chartered buses to avoid flying because flying in her mind is full of unexpected risks and dangers. Yet like the others on this frigid bus, Sammy will come to learn that sometimes the most unpredictable and unexpected dangers come from the places no one can avoid. And as the driver, Otto, points out to all of them, there's definitely no avoiding a collapsed section of road on the snowy icy crest of Mars Mountain.

Fortunately Otto is well familiar with the mountain, and he knows of a decades old lodge that has been shut down for longer than most passengers have been alive. But, if he remembers correctly, that lodge had a radio which still should be able to call some assistance.

But will the journey through thick freezing snow awaken boiling hot fantasies in the minds of some? Will the old lodge prove a safe haven, or will it's ruined state present further dangers on Mars Mountain? And is the real danger, just what awaits our seven travelers a short distance away from that abandoned lodge... the Hot Springs Horror?

Around a fire in the old stone fireplace at the lodge, Otto shares what he recalls of the Hot Springs Horror, the twisted truly depraved rumors of what those waters hold, besides a constantly bubbling heat. Yet with little choice of staying warm all night, do our travelers really have a choice? And urban myths aside, what could hot springs really do to someone's mind and body?

Prepare yourself, readers, for a twisted trip into the heart of an icy place called Mars Mountain, where the only thing deadlier than the cold... is the heat bubbling up from it, and the fantasies bubbling within one's increasingly dirty mind.]]>

<![CDATA[The Right to Arm Bears (Dilbia, #1-2)]]> 263112 AN UNBEARABLE CHOICE

Planet Dilbia is in a crucial location for both humans and their adversaries, the Hemnoids. Therefore making friends with the Dilbians and establishing a human presence there is of the utmost importance, which may be a problem, since the bearlike Dilbians stand some nine feet tall, and have a high regard for physical prowess. They're not impressed by human technology, either. A real man, er, bear doesn't need machines to do his work for him.

But Dilbians "are" impressed by sharp thinking, and some have expressed a grudging admiration for the logical (and usually sneaky) mental maneuvers that the human "shorties" have used to get themselves out of desperate jams. Just maybe that old human craftiness will win over the Dilbians to the human side. If not, we lose a nexus, and the Dilbians will learn just how unbearable Hemnoids can be....

<![CDATA[The Savage Tales of Solomon Kane]]> 363711
¡°He was . . . a strange blending of Puritan and Cavalier, with a touch of the ancient philosopher, and more than a touch of the pagan. . . . A hunger in his soul drove him on and on, an urge to right all wrongs, protect all weaker things. . . . Wayward and restless as the wind, he was consistent in only one respect¡ªhe was true to his ideals of justice and right. Such was Solomon Kane.¡±

Collected in this volume, lavishly illustrated by award-winning artist Gary Gianni, are all of the stories and poems that make up the thrilling saga of the dour and deadly Puritan, Solomon Kane. Together they constitute a sprawling epic of weird fantasy adventure that stretches from sixteenth-century England to remote African jungles where no white man has set foot. Here are shudder-inducing tales of vengeful ghosts and bloodthirsty demons, of dark sorceries wielded by evil men and women, all opposed by a grim avenger armed with a fanatic¡¯s faith and a warrior¡¯s savage heart.

This edition also features exclusive story fragments, a biography of Howard by scholar Rusty Burke, and ¡°In Memoriam,¡± H. P. Lovecraft¡¯s moving tribute to his friend and fellow literary genius.

Dune (Dune, #1) 234225 Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, heir to a noble family tasked with ruling an inhospitable world where the only thing of value is the "spice" melange, a drug capable of extending life and enhancing consciousness. Coveted across the known universe, melange is a prize worth killing for...

When House Atreides is betrayed, the destruction of Paul's family will set the boy on a journey toward a destiny greater than he could ever have imagined. And as he evolves into the mysterious man known as Muad'Dib, he will bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

A stunning blend of adventure and mysticism, environmentalism and politics, Dune won the first Nebula Award, shared the Hugo Award, and formed the basis of what is undoubtedly the grandest epic in science fiction.]]>

Alphabet Squadron 42207529 The first novel in a new trilogy starring veteran New Republic pilots!

On the brink of victory in a brutal war, five New Republic pilots transform from hunted to hunters in this epic Star Wars adventure. Set after Return of the Jedi, Alphabet Squadron follows a unique team, each flying a different class of starfighter as they struggle to end their war once and for all.

The Emperor is dead. His final weapon has been destroyed. The Imperial Army is in disarray. In the aftermath, Yrica Quell is just one of thousands of defectors from her former cause living in a deserters¡¯ shantytown¡ªuntil she is selected to join Alphabet Squadron.

Cobbled together from an eclectic assortment of pilots and starfighters, the five members of Alphabet are tasked by New Republic general Hera Syndulla herself. Like Yrica, each is a talented pilot struggling to find their place in a changing galaxy. Their mission: to track down and destroy the mysterious Shadow Wing, a lethal force of TIE fighters exacting bloody, reckless vengeance in the twilight of their reign.

The newly formed unit embodies the heart and soul of the Rebellion: ragtag, resourceful, scrappy, and emboldened by their most audacious victory in decades. But going from underdog rebels to celebrated heroes isn¡¯t as easy as it seems, and their inner demons threaten them as much as their enemies among the stars. The wayward warriors of Alphabet Squadron will have to learn to fly together if they want to protect the new era of peace they¡¯ve fought so hard to achieve.

Part of a Marvel and Del Rey crossover event, Alphabet Squadron is the counterpart to Marvel¡¯s TIE Fighter miniseries, which follows the exploits of Shadow Wing as they scheme to thwart the New Republic.]]>

This book started out kind of slow but it got much better towards the end . I love the thought of a band of mismatched pilots trying to form a working squadron .Honestly the mission wasn't particularly interesting but the pilot's personalities were much more interesting. The I have heard this will be a series and I can't wait to see where they go from here.

There were Gods abroad in those days. It was their whim to wipe clean the slate of history, to destroy the old races, the Vadhagh, the Nhadragh, the remnants of still more ancient peoples. Mankind, the contemptible Mabden, was ther instrument, washcloth of the Gods. But the Gods themselves fell out, and Chaos gained the advantage over Law.

The stage was set for heroes.

One such was the Vadhagh Prince Corum. Driven mad for revenge by the callous slaughter of his family and race, and by his own grotesque multilation at the hands of the Mabden, he agreed to accept from the treacherous sorcerer Shool the Eye of Rhynn and the Hand of Kwll in exchange for a lien on his soul.
Thus armed he set out upon a personal crusade against the Sword Rulers, Lords of Chaos, puppetmasters to Man. And first of these was the loathsome Arioch, Knight of the Swords, master of five of the fifteen planes of reality. From Arioch, Prince Corum required his heart.]]>

Shakespeare for Squirrels 52216445 New York Times Bestseller!

Shakespeare meets Dashiell Hammett in this wildly entertaining murder mystery from New York Times bestselling author Christopher Moore¡ªan uproarious, hardboiled take on the Bard¡¯s most performed play, A Midsummer Night¡¯s Dream, featuring Pocket, the hero of Fool and The Serpent of Venice, along with his sidekick, Drool, and pet monkey, Jeff.

Set adrift by his pirate crew, Pocket of Dog Snogging¡ªlast seen in The Serpent of Venice¡ªwashes up on the sun-bleached shores of Greece, where he hopes to dazzle the Duke with his comedic brilliance and become his trusted fool.

But the island is in turmoil. Egeus, the Duke¡¯s minister, is furious that his daughter Hermia is determined to marry Demetrius, instead of Lysander, the man he has chosen for her. The Duke decrees that if, by the time of the wedding, Hermia still refuses to marry Lysander, she shall be executed . . . or consigned to a nunnery. Pocket, being Pocket, cannot help but point out that this decree is complete bollocks, and that the Duke is an egregious weasel for having even suggested it. Irritated by the fool¡¯s impudence, the Duke orders his death. With the Duke¡¯s guards in pursuit, Pocket makes a daring escape.

He soon stumbles into the wooded realm of the fairy king Oberon, who, as luck would have it, IS short a fool. His jester Robin Goodfellow¡ªthe mischievous sprite better known as Puck¡ªwas found dead. Murdered. Oberon makes Pocket an offer he can¡¯t refuse: he will make Pocket his fool and have his death sentence lifted if Pocket finds out who killed Robin Goodfellow. But as anyone who is even vaguely aware of the Bard¡¯s most performed play ever will know, nearly every character has a motive for wanting the mischievous sprite dead.

With too many suspects and too little time, Pocket must work his own kind of magic to find the truth, save his neck, and ensure that all ends well.

A rollicking tale of love, magic, madness, and murder, Shakespeare for Squirrels is a Midsummer Night¡¯s noir¡ªa wicked and brilliantly funny good time conjured by the singular imagination of Christopher Moore.]]>

Z-Lensmen 13561577 In the process of training a new class of Z-type Lensmen cadets from the Palainian Z-Academy, Nadreck makes the unintentionally fateful decision to bring a religious leader from a Boskonian Spawn-influenced planet to be studied on Tellus before continuing on to Palain VII. On Tellus, Nadreck and the newly-promoted Galactic Patrol lieutenant Benson Cloudd become aware of a strange new problem affecting Civilized space. Machines throughout a wide swathe of the galaxy have begun to malfunction, and communicators, spaceships and computers are becoming increasingly unreliable. But in the process of searching for the source of this mechanical mayhem, Nadreck discovers something even more disturbing: remnants of the Eddorian Conspiracy are planning a new invasion, and their forces are gathering on multiple planes of existence!

Faced with mysteries and threats on multiple fronts, Nadreck, Cloudd and the android-bodied Lensman Lalla Kallatra must work together while at the same time scattering themselves across the stars, each in pursuit of their own piece of the puzzle. As the final confrontation approaches, all of the power wielded by Civilization -- and all of the combined resourcefulness of its members, from Galactic Coordinator Kimball Kinnison personally leading the Patrol's Grand Fleet against an unprecedented weapon to the shade of Deuce O'Six defending the borders of the spirit world -- must be brought to bear. But will it be enough? And will the threat that is closest to home be recognized in time?

All this and much more is revealed in Z-Lensman, the mesmerizing conclusion to Kyle's galaxies-spanning saga!

Lovecraft collide. It is the autumn of 1910, and for fifteen long years Sherlock Holmes and Dr John Watson have battled R'lluhloig, the Hidden Mind that was once Professor James Moriarty. Europe is creeping inexorably towards war, and a more cosmic conflict is nearing its zenith, as in a single night all the most eminent members of the Diogenes Club die horribly, seemingly by their own hands. Holmes suspects it is the handiwork of a German spy working for R'lluhloig, but his search for vengeance costs an old friend his life. The companions retreat to Holmes's farm on the Sussex Downs, and it is not long before a client comes calling. Three young women have disappeared from the nearby town of Newford, and the locals have no doubt who is responsible. For legend has it that strange amphibious creatures dwell in a city on the seabed, coming ashore every few centuries to take fresh captives. As Holmes and Watson seek out the terrifying interlopers, the scene is set for the final battle that will bring them face to face with the Sussex Sea-Devils, and perhaps with Cthulhu himself...]]> 464 James Lovegrove 1783295988 Tim 0 to-read 4.03 2018 Sherlock Holmes and the Sussex Sea-Devils

<![CDATA[Mycroft and Sherlock (Mycroft Holmes and Sherlock, #2)]]> 38326086 The new novel by NBA All-Star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, starring brothers Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes.

Now a force to be reckoned with in the War Office, the young Mycroft Holmes is growing his network of contacts and influence, although not always in a manner that pleases his closest friend, Cyrus Douglas. A Trinidadian of African descent, Douglas has opened a home for orphaned children, while still running his successful import business.

When a ship carrying a cargo in which Douglas was heavily invested runs aground on the Dorset coast, Mycroft convinces his brother Sherlock to offer his services at the orphanage while Douglas travels to see what can be salvaged. Sherlock finds himself surprisingly at home among the street urchins, but is alarmed to discover that two boys show signs of drug addiction. Meanwhile Douglas also finds evidence of opium use on two dead sailors, and it becomes clear to Mycroft that the vile trade is on the ascent once again.

Travelling to China on the trail of the drug business, Mycroft and Douglas discover that there are many in high places willing to make a profit from the misery of others. Their opponents are powerful, and the cost of stemming the deadly tide of opium is likely to be high...]]>

<![CDATA[African Samurai: The True Story of Yasuke, a Legendary Black Warrior in Feudal Japan]]> 40882235 This biography of the first foreign-born samurai and his journey from Africa to Japan is "a readable, compassionate account of an extraordinary life" (The Washington Post).

When Yasuke arrived in Japan in the late 1500s, he had already traveled much of the known world. Kidnapped as a child, he had ended up a servant and bodyguard to the head of the Jesuits in Asia, with whom he traversed India and China learning multiple languages as he went. His arrival in Kyoto, however, literally caused a riot. Most Japanese people had never seen an African man before, and many of them saw him as the embodiment of the black-skinned Buddha. Among those who were drawn to his presence was Lord Nobunaga, head of the most powerful clan in Japan, who made Yasuke a samurai in his court. Soon, he was learning the traditions of Japan's martial arts and ascending the upper echelons of Japanese society.

In the four hundred years since, Yasuke has been known in Japan largely as a legendary, perhaps mythical figure. Now African Samurai presents the never-before-told biography of this unique figure of the sixteenth century, one whose travels between countries and cultures offers a new perspective on race in world history and a vivid portrait of life in medieval Japan.

"Fast-paced, action-packed writing. . . . A new and important biography and an incredibly moving study of medieval Japan and solid perspective on its unification. Highly recommended." --Library Journal (starred review)

"Eminently readable. . . . a worthwhile and entertaining work." --Publishers Weekly

"A unique story of a unique man, and yet someone with whom we can all identify." --Jack Weatherford, New York Times-bestselling author of Genghis Khan]]>

O.Z. Diggs Himself Out 39695605 A cursed seventh generation descendant of the wonderful Wizard of Oz, O.Z. Diggs VII, can longer mention that he is from that magic family as part of a curse from the Wicked Witch of the West before she died. O.Z. Diggs VII, an eccentric storyteller with rainbow-dyed hair and who was once reluctant to use magic, has been in Boone, N.C. as a displaced Ozian-turned-Southerner and goes on a quest throughout the Southeastern, Eastern, and Midwestern United States to regain his magical roots. He does this through finding pieces of his ancestor's wizarding costume he left behind, and even using the Cowardly Lion staff which was left to him.
O.Z. Diggs VII contacts and meets the Society of the Walking Cane, a group of senior citizen good wizards and witches from Oz who are incognito as a walking group with their walking canes being their disguised staffs. But he also discovers a group of evil witches and wizards called the Society of the Stitches, so-named for stitched red symbols on their clothing. The Society of the Stitches will stop at nothing to keep O.Z. Diggs VII from breaking his curse and returning to Oz. Not only this, but the annoying Nomes of Oz (gnome-like creatures who love jewels they claim they made) are on their way to the United States to reclaim their jewels and cause mischief. Even with the help of some new fantastic friends, can O.Z. Diggs figure out how to stop the Society of the Stitches and the evil Nomes as well as break his curse? O.Z. Diggs VII becomes so much more than his Southern identity and background. He shows that anyone can transcend both!
This often funny, sometimes dark, whimsical trip down American highways will beckon readers young, and young-at-heart, to once again...follow the Yellow Brick Road!]]>

<![CDATA[Born a Crime: Stories From a South African Childhood]]> 29780253
Trevor Noah¡¯s unlikely path from apartheid South Africa to the desk of The Daily Show began with a criminal act: his birth. Trevor was born to a white Swiss father and a black Xhosa mother at a time when such a union was punishable by five years in prison. Living proof of his parents¡¯ indiscretion, Trevor was kept mostly indoors for the earliest years of his life, bound by the extreme and often absurd measures his mother took to hide him from a government that could, at any moment, steal him away. Finally liberated by the end of South Africa¡¯s tyrannical white rule, Trevor and his mother set forth on a grand adventure, living openly and freely and embracing the opportunities won by a centuries-long struggle.

Born a Crime is the story of a mischievous young boy who grows into a restless young man as he struggles to find himself in a world where he was never supposed to exist. It is also the story of that young man¡¯s relationship with his fearless, rebellious, and fervently religious mother¡ªhis teammate, a woman determined to save her son from the cycle of poverty, violence, and abuse that would ultimately threaten her own life.]]>

Station Eleven 21792828 An audacious, darkly glittering novel set in the eerie days of civilization¡¯s collapse, Station Eleven tells the spellbinding story of a Hollywood star, his would-be savior, and a nomadic group of actors roaming the scattered outposts of the Great Lakes region, risking everything for art and humanity.

Twenty years later, Kirsten moves between the settlements of the altered world with a small troupe of actors and musicians. They call themselves The Traveling Symphony, and they have dedicated themselves to keeping the remnants of art and humanity alive. But when they arrive in St. Deborah by the Water, they encounter a violent prophet who will threaten the tiny band¡¯s existence. <![CDATA[Lord Foul's Bane (The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant the Unbeliever, #1)]]> 219205
Yet the Land tempted him. He had been sick; now he seemed better than ever before. Through no fault of his own, he had been outcast, unclean, a pariah. Now he was regarded as a reincarnation of the Land's greatest hero--Berek Halfhand--armed with the mystic power of White Gold. That power alone could protect the Lords of the Land from the ancient evil of Despiser, Lord Foul. Only...Covenant had no idea of how the power could be used!

Thus begins one of the most remarkable epic fantasies ever written...]]>

<![CDATA[The Mad God's Amulet (The History of the Runestaff, #2)]]> 1062544 In Michael Moorcock¡¯s vast and imaginative multiverse, Law and Chaos wage war in a never-ending struggling over the fundamental rules of existence. Here in this universe, Dorian Hawkmoon traverses a world of antique cities, scientific sorcery, and crystalline machines as he pulled unwillingly into a war that pits him against the ruthless and dominating armies of Granbretan.

After withstanding the power of the Black Jewel and saving the city of Hamadan from the conquest of the Dark Empire of Granbretan, Hawkmoon set off for Kamarang, where friendship and love await him. But the journey is beyond treacherous. With his boon companion, Oladahn, the beastman of the Bulgar Mountians, Hawkmoon discovers the peaceful city of Soryandum, which holds the power to transcend the confines of time and space. This power, which keeps the city from falling to the Dark Empire, could keep Kamarang safe. But alas his love Yisselda is now a prisoner of the Mad God, whose powerful amulet is linked to Hawkmoon¡¯s ultimate destiny: a power that began at creation and calls heroes to arms throughout existence. Hawkmoon must rip this amulet from the neck of the Mad God if he hopes to save the city of Kamarang and free his friends and his one true love from the Dark Empire's relentless wrath.

Since time immemorial, the Spires have sheltered humanity, towering for miles over the mist-shrouded surface of the world. Within their halls, aristocratic houses have ruled for generations, developing scientific marvels, fostering trade alliances, and building fleets of airships to keep the peace.

Captain Grimm commands the merchant ship, Predator. Fiercely loyal to Spire Albion, he has taken their side in the cold war with Spire Aurora, disrupting the enemy¡¯s shipping lines by attacking their cargo vessels. But when the Predator is severely damaged in combat, leaving captain and crew grounded, Grimm is offered a proposition from the Spirearch of Albion¡ªto join a team of agents on a vital mission in exchange for fully restoring Predator to its fighting glory.

And even as Grimm undertakes this dangerous task, he will learn that the conflict between the Spires is merely a premonition of things to come. Humanity¡¯s ancient enemy, silent for more than ten thousand years, has begun to stir once more. And death will follow in its wake¡]]>

But the TARDIS takes them to 1979, a table-wine year, a year whose vintage is soured by cracks ¨C not in their wine glasses but in the very fabric of time itself.

Soon the Time Lords are embroiled in an audacious alien scheme which encompasses home-made time machines, the theft of the Mona Lisa, the resurrection of the much-feared Jagaroth race, and the beginning (and quite possibly the end) of all life on Earth.

Aided by British private detective Duggan, whose speciality is thumping people, the Doctor and Romana must thwart the machinations of the suave, mysterious Count Scarlioni ¨C all twelve of him ¨C if the human race has any chance of survival.

But then, the Doctor¡¯s holidays tend to turn out a bit like this.

Featuring the Fourth Doctor as played by Tom Baker, City of Death is a novel by James Goss based on the 1979 Doctor Who story written by Douglas Adams under the pen-name David Agnew. City of Death is one of the best-loved serials in the show¡¯s 50-year history and was watched by over 16 million viewers when first broadcast.

<![CDATA[The Shadow of The Samurai: 47 Ronin]]> 21053788 The story that inspired the movie ¡°47 Ronin¡±, a Hollywood blockbuster starring Keanu Reeves, which will be released on 27th December, 2013, with big media hype.

The novel also tells, chapter by chapter, the former Japanese epic, a heroic example of honor, loyalty, dedication, perseverance, courage, and love, and a parallel plot current internal struggle and self-improvement. Both stories merge to an extraordinary final outcome.

The Shadow of the Samurai. 47 Ronin, is the story of David, a young lawyer of success driven by fate to a dramatic change in his life and all. The suffering and pain of losing his family would take a trip to the depths of Japan to learn the tradition of samurai suicide dignity and power. However, it is immersed in an unexpected and bold commitment to himself and with life in the fight against the indignity and evil embodied by Kira, the evil ringmaster Shogun¡¯s government, the real ruler of ancient Japan.

On a plot of the past is interwoven cross-reading of this that make The Shadow of the Samurai, 47 Ronin, of a time an epic and historical novel, a novel of personal growth, a novel of love and loyalty and a novel of magic and struggle against the forces of evil.

The protagonist discover their old identity of a past life incarnation as a samurai in Japan in the early eighteenth century.

The thread of the plot of the novel navigates between pure fiction and historical accuracy. Most of the characters that appear in its pages transited roads, markets, streets, mountains and the reaches of Japan in the distant past.

For the recreation of the historic fabric and real characters, the author has used various documentary sources: plays of the time (kabuki, bunraku, no), articles and historical works¡ and years of study of nature, lifestyle, customs and religions merging and traditions of the Country of the Rising Sun.

An argument with an exciting pace and at same time, poetic, full of fascinating coincidences and chances to finally discover how the plot as the destination.
¡°The Young Cherry Blossom is our emblem: we live and die beautifully, a beautiful life and ephemeral¡±.
This is a new form of literature, a pleasure for the senses.

The author, Raul de la Rosa, is a writer and philosopher practical. Has experienced and deepened in the fields of mind and consciousness, ancient tradition and ecology.
His deep knowledge in these areas has been enriched by the encounter with other cultures, the result of his travels. In his books through the alchemy of the word and creating universes mixture of fiction and reality, addressing the awakening of consciousness through the experience and understanding of the true human nature.

<![CDATA[Small Gods: A Discworld Graphic Novel]]> 27245604 'Just because you can't explain it, doesn't mean it's a miracle.'

In the beginning was the Word. And the Word was: 'Hey, you!' This is the Discworld, after all, and religion is a controversial business. Everyone has their own opinion, and indeed their own gods, of every shape and size, and all elbowing for space at the top. In such a competitive environment, shape and size can be pretty crucial to make one's presence felt. So it's certainly not helpful to be reduced to appearing in the form of a tortoise, a manifestation far below god-like status in anyone's book.

In such instances, you need an acolyte, and fast: for the Great God Om, Brutha the novice is the Chosen One ¨C or at least the only One available. He wants peace and justice and brotherly love. He also wants the Inquisition to stop torturing him now, please...

'The two thieves had themselves been robbed by two youths, who eyed each other suspiciously over the sprawled, senseless bodies.

Fafhrd said: 'Our motives for being here seem identical.' 'Surely, they must be!' the Mouser answered curtly, fiercely eyeing his huge, potential foe.

Fafhrd glanced down at the belts and money-pouches of the fallen thieves. Then he looked up at the Mouser with an honest, open, ingenuous smile.

'Sixty-sixty?' he suggested.

Thus was born the most improbable relationship in the whole history of swords and sorceries.

Sherlock Holmes meets Cthulu , a nerds dreams are answered in a really great way . James Lovegrove writes in a similar style that Sir Arthur Conan Doyle . I don't know if that was a happy accident or planned but either way it was a nice touch .
