I'm a huge fan of Shannon's Kowalski series, and this one is right up there with my favorites. Mitch and Paige couldn't be more wrong for each other, though they engage in some hot fun, both of them determined to walk away at the end of Mitch's home visit. But two people who are determined not to get involved couldn't be more right for each other. Engaging characters, a wonderful romance and a town filled with secondary characters you want to know more about. And of course, more Kowalskis you can't wait to read about. I loved this book. I felt like I was part of the town and the people who lived in it. Shannon Stacey's books always make me feel right at home, and I want to stay. Another beautiful romance.

This could possibly be my favorite Jill Shalvis book. I literally laughed out loud in the first chapter, and it just gets better from there. Grace is a wonderful heroine with baggage to spare and a decided plan for her future, until Josh, that is, who turns her life upside down. Josh is a to die for hero with just too many spinning plates, a pain in the ass sister and an adorable son. Put the two of them together and you have combustible chemistry, a fun romance, smoking hot love scenes and a romance you won't soon forget. Shalvis at her absolute best. I highly recommend this book.

I read this book in a day (when I should be writing my own book, y'all!). What can I say? Jill's books hook me and I can't stop reading them. I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. She has a smooth way of writing, and her characters--oh, her characters. How can you not love them? Amy has issues that make your heart clench and Matt--well, Matt is another to-die-for hero. You can't help rooting for their Happily Ever Atter. Their chemistry is off the charts and smoking hot and the romance makes you swoon. I loved this book. Another winner from Jill. :-)

What can I say? It was a Nora book, and a romantic suspense, one of my favorite genres of hers. I was riveted from the start and couldn't put it down. Read it in two days. Loved it madly. It was gripping, suspenseful, with characters that grab you from the beginning and don't let go. Loved Brooks and Abigail had my heart from the very beginning. She was so hard to break down, but Brooks never once gave up her--the kind of hero we all love. I loved her quiet strength and determination, including her resolve to go it alone. One of the things I loved best about Brooks was his absolute refusal to let her. Great love story. I really enjoyed this one.

So, I started this book while I was on deadline (I know, bad me), and read it in one day. Anyone who knows me also knows Shan is one of my best friends, so I'll put that out there as full disclosure. That being said, if you've read Shannon Stacey before, you know that she writes compelling, fun, heart tugging contemporary romance, and Slow Summer Kisses is one of her best. I loved this book. It was funny as hell, sweet, sexy, and totally un-put-downable. Anna and Cam make the perfect couple. You're going to love this book.

This book was wonderful. Fully rounded characters and a fun, emotional story. Sean and Emma are together for all the wrong reasons, and you want them to stay together for all the right reasons. With full disclosure, Shannon is a good friend of mine. That being said, this book was wonderfully written. A great contemporary romance that held me spellbound. I couldn't put it down. It was fun, with tons of humor, incredible secondary characters I grew to love, and a fantastic romance between the hero and heroine. Shannon writes characters you root for, characters who aren't perfect, a compelling story, and her voice simply captures you. It wouldn't matter if we were friends or not, I'd still sing her praises. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

The end to a magnificent series. One of Maya Banks best. Disclaimer: I'm Maya's friend, so of course there's bias, but I think this is the best work she's ever done. I don't typically read historicals, though, and this series had me riveted through all three books. The emotion is wrenching and the romance made me swoon. I can't recommend this series highly enough. :-)

I love Nora's romantic suspense books. This one wasn't one of my all time favorites, but it was pretty damn good. She spent a lot of time on the fire fighting scenes, and while I found them fascinating (whoa, can the woman research and do it well), I think they bogged down the pace some. But oh, how I loved the hero and heroine in this book. Rowan was smart and strong and one of the best heroines I've read in awhile. She was fierce and capable, yet vulnerable and able to yield to Gull when the time was right. And Gull...what a man. As far as the suspense, I had no idea on the whodunnit and Nora kept me guessing the whole way, and that always makes for a great book.

Though my first foray into romance was through historicals (Woodiwiss, Lindsay, Rogers, etc) I don't typically read them anymore. But Maya is a good friend and I love her writing, plus I've been dying to read the first book of this new series ever since I read the proposal. It was amazing. I fell in love with the characters, with the clan, and the rich storytelling. There's passion, emotion, intrigue and danger, and everything I remember about why I used to love historicals. Maya has another winner in this series, and I'm ready for Book 2 right now!

Wow. Breathtaking. I'd been waiting forever for Hawke and Sienna's book, and Nalini didn't disappoint. Filled with smoldering heat, epic romance and awesome action, it's everything I wanted and then some. I won't spoil the story, but this is Nalini Singh at her very best. Once I started this book I couldn't put it down, despite my oh-so-pressing deadlines. To me, that's the mark of a great story.

It took me awhile to get into this one. I put it down to read several other books. But once I did slide into it, it was great. Some good friction between Eve and Roarke. They have such a real relationship, with ups and downs, and I love seeing how they handle it. I know I'm so far behind in this series and it'll take me forever to catch up, but little by little I'll get there. :-)

You know how I judge whether a book is awesome or not? If I don't want to put it down and work on my own book--then a book is awesome. A LOT LIKE LOVE was one of those books I didn't want to put down. I absolutely loved it. Smart, sassy heroine, and a hot and sexy hero coupled with a dynamic, well thought out plot make this a must buy. Add in Julie James typical humor and crackling dialogue and this is another winner. If she writes it, I'll read it.

What a fun holiday book! Strong heroine, grouchy, sexy boss. Very emotional story and the heroine's family was awesome. I loved the heroine's grandmother and her brother. Loved the farm and Christmas in Australia. It was one of those romances you couldn't put down. Sweet, romantic, with characters who aren't perfect but who are perfect to read about. It made me feel warm and fuzzy inside, which is just how I like to feel this time of year. I highly recommend this book!
