جورجي غوسبودينوف واحد من أهم الأسماء الأدبية في المشهد البلغاري الراهن. وُلد في مدينة يانبول عام 1968، له العديد من الكتب في الشعر والقصة القصيرة والرواية، وبعضها تُرجم إلى ما يزيد على عشر لغات أجنبية. وقد صدرت روايته «فيزياء الحزن» عن دار «جانيت 45» في صوفيا عام 2012، وفي يوم صدورها بيعت جميع نسخ طبعتها الاولى، وبهذا اصبحت، الكتاب الاكثر مبيعا في ذلك العام، ونالت الكثير من الجوائز الادبية.

كما أن هذه الرواية حازت على جائزة بوليتزر عام 1961، لأنها عدت إحدى علامات الأدب الأمريكي الحديث.. تحولت الرواية إلى فيلم من أهم الأفلام العالمية، حصل على أوسكار أحسن سيناريو مأخوذ عن عمل أدبي وأحسن ممثل دور أول.

يحكي لنا حكاية ذلك الأب الذي قرر بعد سنوات عشر من حلول الكارثة أن ينطلق بحثا عن الخلاص و كان يراه في الساحل الشرقي ..لم يكن متيقنا من هذا لكنه وضع احتياجاته التي قدر أن يحصل عليها من المتاجر المنهوبة و التي تعرضت للخراب أصلا في عربة تسوق متهالكة و انطلق هو و ابنه الذي ولد عقب الكارثة مباشرة باتجاه الساحل .واجهتهما صعوبات كثيرة من جوع و برد و صقيع و خوف من أكلة لحوم البشر و بوصولهما إلى الساحل المؤمل فيه الخلاص كان مرض السل قد استحكم في جسد الرجل و مات الأب و لكن في ذات الوقت عثر الابن على مجموعة بشرية ناجية صغيرة تحتويه بين أفرادها.
جو الرواية قاتم جدا و من خلال الأب و ابنه اللذين لا نعرف لهما اسما و ربما كانت الأسماء مغفلة عمدا من الكاتب فما النفع من اسمك إن لم يكن هناك من سيناديك به؟ و ما النفع من اسمك عندما يكون هاجسك الأساسي و الوحيد هو البقاء؟حكى لنا مكارثي عن أب يحاول إيجاد الطريق و نسأل أنفسنا إلى أين؟ لا إجابة فالدمار عام شامل إلى أين يقود هذا الرجل ابنه و لماذا يريد بلوغ الشاطئ و هو لا يملك ذرة من يقين بوجود خلاص ما؟
تتعزز لدى القارئ كلما توغل في العمل برمزية هذا الطريق
الرجل يعلم يقينا أنه هالك في مرحلة ما من الطريق لكنه أيضا يريد بلوغ الصبي مأمنه فهو بذرة أمل في إعادة إعمار الوجود الإنساني.
كورماك مكارثي اعتنى كثيرا بسرد تفاصيل الطريق و كيف حمى الأب ابنه طوال الطريق و ما اعترضهما من عقبات كثيرة كان أولها البحث عن الطعام و الحماية من البرد و الأمطار و مرورا بحمايته من أكلة لحوم البشر الذي انتشروا في أرجاء الأرض بعد أن نهبت المنازل و المخازن و المستودعات و انعدمت مصادر الطعام و انتهاء بحمايته من رؤية منظر الجثث المتفحمة و المرمية على طول الطريق و هذه التفاصيل في غاية الأهمية تكفي لرسم الصورة كاملة في ذهن المتلقي عن مدى الخراب و الدمار و مدى الحاجة لإيجاد الطريق
بينما في الوقت نفسه أغفل تفصيلات عن شخصياته ربما لأنه اعتبرها غير مهمة و غير ضرورية لبناء الحدث الدرامي
تركنا نلملم التفاصيل و الجزئيات من زوايا القصة من خلال الاسترجاع الذي كان يمارسه الرجل في لحظات التأمل أو اليأس و الخوف أو الشعور بالجوع الشديد
فالكارثة التي حلت بالأرض ابتدأت بنور ساطع يعمي العيون ثم انقطاع للكهرباء تلته انفجارات هائلة
كانت الحياة تسير بكل بساطة و تلقائية بحيث كان المشهد المفتاح هو وقوفه أمام الحوض و ملأه بالماء الساخن،كانت المرأة التي لا نعلم عنها إلا أنها كانت تمسك بطنها بيدها بما يشير إلى أنها كانت حاملا في شهرها الأخير تسأله إن كان سيستحم الآن و هذا ينم عن سيرورة هذه الحياة بشكل طبيعي.

تحكي هذه النوفيلا المذلة، الجميلة والقاسية في آنٍ، كيف أن اعترافًا بسيطًا بين زوج وزوجته، بنزوة جنسية عابرة، قادهما إلى عالمَين داخليَّين خاصَّين جدًّا ومتنافسَين، مليئين بأحلام الانتقام، وكاد يؤدي بهما إلى الانفصال.
«حُلم» نوفيلا نفسية عن الخيانة الزوجية، وخرق المحظور، والانحلال الأخلاقي، تدور أحداثها في فيينا في بدايات القرن العشرين، لكنها تمس مناطق مدفونة من النفس البشرية في كل زمان ومكان.
نالت شهرة واسعة، وتُرجمت إلى عدة لغات، واقتُبست للمسرح والتلفزيون والراديو والسينما، وهي الأساس الأدبي لآخر أفلام «ستانلي كوبريك»، «Eyes Wide Shut» («عيون مغلقة على اتساعها»).

يعتبر الكاتب والطبيب النمساوي «أرتور شنيتسلر» (1862�1931) من أهم رواد الحداثة الفييناوية. عمل طبيبًا في مستشفى فيينا العام في قسم الأمراض الباطنة وقسم الأمراض النفسية والعصبية، ثم مساعدًا لأبيه الطبيب في قسم أمراض الحلق بمستشفى فيينا. بعد وفاة والده في عام 1893، ترك المستشفى وافتتح عيادة خاصة.
بدأ نجمه الأدبي في الظهور مبكرًا عندما نشر نصوصًا أدبية وقصائد، وكان يهتم في أعماله بالحالة النفسية لأبطاله، التي تعكس أيضًا حالة المجتمع الفييناوي آنذاك. ومع مطلع القرن العشرين كان «شنيتسلر» واحدًا من أهم منتقدي الإمبراطورية النمساوية-المجرية، وبعد أن نشر نوفيلا بعنوان «النقيب جوستل» (التي استخدم فيها المونولوج الداخلي لأول مرة في الأدب الألماني)، نُزعت عنه رتبة «طبيب أول ضابط احتياطي» لهجومه فيها على أخلاقيات الضباط. ثم توقف بعد فترة عن ممارسة الطب وتفرغ للكتابة في مسقط رأسه مدينة فيينا، التي لم يغادرها حتى وفاته.
لاقت الكثير من أعماله شهرة وأحدثت جدلا بين النقاد والقراء، كما منعت أثناء حكم النازيين، وتحول عدد منها لمسرحيات وأفلام شهيرة. من أهم أعماله: «الدائرة»، و«شهرة متأخرة»، و«احتضار»، و«الآنسة إلزه». وتُعتبر نوفيلا «حلم» من أشهر أعماله، وهي الأساس الأدبي لفيلم «ستانلي كوبريك» المعروف «Eyes Wide Shut» («عيون مغلقة على اتساعها»).]]> 168 Arthur Schnitzler Aly 3 3.34 1926 حلم

And J R is a book of comparable magnitude, substance, and humor--a rushing, raucous look at money and its influence, at love and its absence, at success and its failures, in the magnificently orchestrated circus of all its larger- and smaller-than-life characters; a frantic, forlorn comedy about who uses -- and misuses -- whom.

At the center: J R, ambitious sixth-grader in torn sneakers, bred on the challenge of "free enterprise" and fired by heady mail-order promises of "success." His teachers would rather be elsewhere, his principal doubles as a bank president, his Long Island classroom mirrors the world he sees around him -- a world of public relations and private betrayals where everything (and everyone) wears a price tag, a world of "deals" where honesty is no substitute for experience, and the letter of the law flouts its spirit at every turn. Operating from the remote anonymity of phone booths and the local post office, with beachheads in a seedy New York cafeteria and a catastrophic, carton-crammed tenement on East 96th Street, J R parlays a deal for thousands of surplus Navy picnic forks through penny stock flyers and a distant textile-mill bankruptcy into a nationwide, hydra-headed "family of companies."

The J R Corp and its Boss engulf brokers, lawyers, Congressmen, disaffected school teachers and disenfranchised Indians, drunks, divorcées, second-hand generals, and a fledgling composer hopelessly entangled in a nightmare marriage of business and the arts. Their bullish ventures -- shaky mineral claims and gas leases, cost-plus defense contracts, a string of nursing homes cum funeral parlors, a formula for frozen music -- burgeon into a paper empire ranging from timber to textiles, from matchbooks to (legalized) marijuana, from prostheses to publishing, inadvertently crushing hopes, careers, an entire town, on a collision course with the bigger world . . . the pragmatic Real World where the business of America is business, where the stock market exists as a convenience, and the tax laws make some people more equal than others . . . the world that makes the rules because it plays to win, and plays for keeps.

Absurdly logical, mercilessly real, gathering its own tumultuous momentum for the ultimate brush with commodity trading when the drop in pork belly futures masks the crumbling of our own, J R captures the reader in the cacophony of voices that revolves around this young captive of his own myths -- voices that dominate the book, talking to each other, at each other, into phones, on intercoms, from TV screens and radios -- a vast mosaic of sound that sweeps the reader into the relentless "real time" of spoken words in a way unprecedented in modern fiction. The disturbing clarity with which this finished writer captures the ways in which we deal, dissemble, stumble through our words -- through our lives -- while the real plans are being made elsewhere makes J R the extraordinary novel that it is.

يعمل سينتارو في متجرٍ لبيع فطائر الدوراياكي يقع في قلب طوكيو. تنقلب حياته رأساً على عقب عندما يوظِّف توكي، السيّدة العجوز ذات الأصابع المشوّهة التي سوف تعلّمه كيف يعدُّ حشوة فطائره بحبّ وإتقان، إلى أن يصبح متجره مقصداً لذواقي هذه الحلوى اليابانية التقليدية. لكنّ توكي كانت تخفي سرّاً لا يمكن الإفصاح عنه، فاختفت من دون سابق إنذار مثلما ظهرت فجأةً، تاركة لسينتارو عبرة سترافقه مدى الحياة.

ملذّاتُ طوكيو" هي رواية مؤثّرة وشاعرية تدور حول آلام الأجساد والقلوب، وحول الحبّ والعطف والصمود، ولكنّها قبل كلّ شيء حكاية لقاء غير متوقع بين شخصين يتشابهان أكثر ممّا يظنّان، على الرغم من اختلاف عمريهما وتطلّعاتهما.

]]> No Longer Human 194746 No Longer Human, this leading postwar Japanese writer's second novel, tells the poignant and fascinating story of a young man who is caught between the breakup of the traditions of a northern Japanese aristocratic family and the impact of Western ideas. In consequence, he feels himself "disqualified from being human" (a literal translation of the Japanese title).

Donald Keene, who translated this and Dazai's first novel, The Setting Sun, has said of the author's work: "His world � suggests Chekhov or possibly postwar France, � but there is a Japanese sensibility in the choice and presentation of the material.
