Would be going in a totally different direction. The paranormal aspects of this book are truly amazing.
Lathan Montgomery has a special gift that allows him to solve cold cases, but also isolates him because being near people makes strong impressions on his life. Evanee Brown has had a rough start to life. She is working hard to start over but finds herself in trouble, that is when Lathan enters her life. What ensues is suspenseful and action packed. I won’t give any thing away, but I will say if you like a good mystery you need to get this book and series. It will leave you thinking about it long after you are done reading. This is the second series I have read by Abbie Roads, and I have put her on my permanent TBR list. I love her writing style and she never fails to amaze.

Annelise is a young woman who has heard all her life that she should grow up, get married and have children. It was drummed into her that once married she should stay that way no matter how bad it gets. Annelise grows up, becomes a preschool teacher, and marries her colleges sweetheart, Aaron. When Annelise tries to start a family and is having infertility issues, Aaron tries to put her on a diet. Her marriage hit a rough patch, but it has been ingrained in her from a young age by family and faith she must stay married no matter what.

Trek Blue is a father of two children, one that is in Annelise’s kindergarten class. Trek has just moved to the area after the death of his wife. Trek asks Annelise to tutor his daughter. Sylvie has a hit with this story. I have read many stories by Ms. Stewart, but I have to say this is my favorite of hers so far. This book had me laughing out loud. Jenna is ready to start living her life again after her divorce. Her sister, Jill, is helping her get back on her feet and finding a man. The situations Jenna gets into on her first couple dates are hilarious. Sam, Officer Hottie, seems to be showing up when Jenna finds herself in sticky situations. Jenna and Sam have some amazing chemistry, but Jenna is not looking for a relationship. You will need to read the book to find out what happen for these two. You definitely won’t be disappointed. This story flowed from beginning to end and I highly recommend this book and this whole series.

The Prince’s Game by Lexi Foss is the first book in the Mershano Empire Series. This is also the first book I have read by Lexi Foss. Ms. Foss really brought the characters to life in this romance, suspense, mystery all rolled into one, and let's not forget a little reality tv thrown into the mix.

Evan Mershano is a spoiled rich kid (well kind of, he’s 35) that loves being a bachelor. He runs into a snag when he finds out in order to keep his money and the lifestyle that comes with it he must marry. His parents are tired of waiting for grandbabies so they are putting the pressure. This is where the reality tv comes in. He must choose one of thirty woman at the end of the show and propose to her.

Sarah Summers finds herself on a silly TV game show and she has no one to blame except her identical twin sister, Abigale. They have alway pulled pranks on one another, but this takes the cake. This book is an amazing read. This author is new to me, so I didn’t know what I would find, but I’m definitely hooked after reading this first book. I can’t wait to jump into the next book in the series. This book is a fast paced read. The characters are detailed and easy to feel like you know them. The storyline is original and kept me reading long into the night. Paisley and Caspian have great chemistry and this story has some sizzling love scenes. I highly recommend this book and look forward to reading the next one in this series.

Griffin Stephens had a bad relationship years ago that he just can’t get over, so he is not looking for love either. When they meet, the chemistry is hot. Will they get over their trust issues and come together at the end? This was such a fun book to read and the secondary characters are wonderful. I hope we get a book about each of her friends.
