Instead it's all about each character working through something so that they're good and ready for the next book. And even though the plot is slow I'm so freaking entertained. I'm not bored. I'm not hoping something will happen. I trust the process. And that's easy to do in a J Rose book cause you will not regret it.

Ember is by far the strongest heroine I have ever read. Everything she went through is horrific, most people would not have been able to survive. The way J Rose wrote Ember's character was beautiful. I was there with Ember for everything and it was definitely hard to read at times. Then once she was saved I really felt the heartbreak of hers in returning to normal life and how hard that was and allowing herself to live again. It was really beautiful.

I have to say that Blaine Madden came crashing into Ember's life and what a wild ride it was even if it was way to short. That entrance must go down in history as my favorite character introduction.

I have such a soft spot for Axel. Several times when Axel said something violent or outrageous I was smiling because I knew he wasn't kidding. I don't know why but I smiled every time.

J Rose is the best why-choose author. There's never a member of the harem that I dislike or not care about. Sure I have favorites but I still love everyone.

I loved this book so much. It was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed it from start to finish and not once throughout reading did I think anything other than how much I loved it.

In my personal opinion, Jagger Cole is the best mafia author. This whole world he has created with all these characters, I love it so much. No one else compares.

I loved this book so much. It was absolutely incredible. I enjoyed it from start to finish and not once throughout reading did I think anything other than how much I loved it.

I think my favorite thing about this series is how slow it is. This is like book 4 and not much has happened plot wise, but and this is a big but, a lot has happened character wise. This series is character development done to perfection. None of these characters are the same people they were 4 books ago. I love slow and I love character development and this series is perfect.

I loved how much Sin we got in this. I was so happy to see Sirena and him fall in love and I really wanted him home where he belonged. I was happy to see Church let it go and listen to what Sirena wanted.

I liked this new side of Bryce that we got to see. I hope we get even more in the next book, I want more of his story. Cause I have a feeling we don't know him at all.

I liked seeing this darker side of Sirena. She's been so trapped inside herself for so long, seeing her fight back was amazing. Also hope we see more of that.

One thing I loved was that the guys were introduced separately. Often when we meet the guys all at ones I have a really hard time telling them apart. Then I'll end up without a clear picture in my head of what they look like, which can make it hard to remember who said and did what.

I really loved both Grey and Theo. I'll like to see more of Damon. I'm usually such a sucker for the sad broken boy, and in this it was Theo and I really loved him. But I have to say Grey won out, with his charm, his kindness and how he was such a beacon of light in Avery's life.

Avery did make a decision towards the end I didn't like. But, I trust this author, I trust the process.

Although I have to say that cliffhanger I did not see coming and it completely overshadowed that scene.

I so enjoyed this book. I've been on an asylum romance kick for a while now and this one of the better ones out there.
