With a MC with a god complex (the irony is huge when you actually read the book) and divine plot armor (again, the irony), the fact that I know that he will always win in spectacular fashion without any fanfare, and the awkwardly inserted backstory when you least want it, it's a wonder that I actually finished this. So glad it's over. Good luck if you still want to read it after reading this review.
