I loved this book!! I still wouldn't give it 5 stars or call it amazing or anything, but I still loved it! It was hilarious and not only was Stella hilarious but her parents OMG I loved her parents

“If we’re sticking with gender stereotypes, I'm pretty sure that as your father
I am obligated to threaten him with a rifle.�
“You don't have a gun, Dad,� I reached for another drumstick.
“I could get a Nerf gun. There’s a really cool Nerf rifle I've always kind of wanted to have,� he said. “And they can't arrest me for shooting a teenage boy with a Nerf gun, right? I mean, who doesn't want to shoot a Nerf gun at teenage boys?�

I also really like her relationship with Howie sure it was unusual and the L word came way too fast but it worked. What really bugged me was the whole Kelly fiasco that was completely unnecessary. The Zombie action didn't disappoint though you get plenty. All in all this was a fun and entertaining read that I recommend to someone who wants a laugh or loves zombies.

That through me for a loop and I had to rethink the whole image I had in my head which wasn't easy. I also didn’t like how she changed her mind about Ramiel every 5 minutes. One minute she trusts him then he does one little thing wrong and she doesn’t. It made me want to bi*ch slap her!

I also had a problem with the romance. Like I said she changed her mind about him every 5 minutes and you never understand what his feelings are for her.The way he changed the subject after sex and the feelings he may or may not have for her mother and so on... There is one part that proves he has feelings for her but not how deep those feelings really are.

Last but not least the whole idea of Sex as a medicine is just weird

I loved this book! It was a page turner indeed! First of all when I requested this book from Netgallery I did not know it was a LGBT YA. Anyway onto the characters, I had mixed feelings about Luke. Of course his life sucked but the poor me attitude got irritating after awhile. Also his need to cry at every little thing made me face palm. with that said he was a interesting character. I also really liked Zack or what what we got to see of Zack; Hideous needed more Zack! Tom well, I didn't like Tom very much and after you read this you'll know why.

I really liked how this was written I don't recall many YA novels with swear words which in Hideous you saw a lot of which was refreshing, because sorry to say that's how teenagers talk these days.

I really liked how this was written I don't recall many YA novels with swear words which in Hideous you saw a lot of which was refreshing, because sorry to say that's how teenagers talk these days.

All in all this was a great read which I recommend to anybody looking for a supernatural LGBT YA or just a fast paced read.

I want to start off by apologizing to my former mythology teacher. For all the hours I complained about having to learn about Coyote. (I wanted to get to the Greek and Roman stuff) Because without that education I would have had a way different experience while reading this book.

Ray’s just a thirtysomething graphic designer with a broken heart who doesn’t much like his life right now.

And he’s already having nightmares about the whole thing, come on. He’d rather not think about it. (Also, the police were kinda mean, and now everyone thinks he’s a serial killer.)

Luckily for Ray, the last man in the world he should be interested in has distraction on his mind, and it seems like all Ray can think about is Adam Blake. Adam is everywhere Ray turns. He is too young for Ray, too cool for him, too beautiful for him…and for some bewildering reason, Adam is always there for him when Ray needs him the most.

But Ray’s not falling for it. He’s not falling for Adam. Definitely not. Because Ray and Adam have a complicated history, and starting something would be a terrible idea.


Not That Complicated is a 74k-word romantic comedy that just so happens to also have some dead guys in it. There are very few details on the correct investigative procedure—not that Ray wants to know—and you can forget about any big reveal to wrap up the case. Ray is tangentially involved in the whole gross business at best, and that suits him fine. This is a romance. Which means there is flirting, awkwardness, some surprising discoveries in the bedroom, awkwardness, misunderstandings, more awkwardness, and the kind of love that changes your life forever.

Wait. No. Ray is not falling in love�

Which Agatha Christie did splendidly in my opinion . Even though I was positive who the murderer was from pretty early on in the book, I would be lying if I said that the twists didn't make me second guess myself a few times. So with that said did I like it enough to read again? probably not, but did I like it enough to read Agatha Christie again? absolutely!
