Zbirka od jedanaest priča "Moj muž" za sada je vrhunac njezina pisanja. Sve priče ispripovijedale su vrlo različite žene iz prvog lica, ali te se priče tiču koliko njih toliko i njihove okoline, odnosa s muževima (jer jedino zajedničko im je to što su sve u brakovima, a jedna je već i sahranila svog muža), djecom, roditeljima, kolegama i prijateljima. Zbog toga se radi o galeriji iznimno upečatljivih i precizno profiliranih likova i majstorskim kondenziranim d(r)amama, o psihološkim ali i socijalnim, s posebnom osjetljivošću na patrijarhat, portretima. Jer, govoreći o svojim brakovima i muževima � ginekolozima, pjesnicima, veleposlanicima, policajcima � govori se o profesijama i njihovim statusima, o odnosima moći � većina ženskih likova ipak je zasjenjena i emotivno i socijalno zapuštena zbog prestiža njihovih muževa i njihovih profesija.

Rumena Bužarovska bez pardona zadire i u dijelom tabuizirane teme: piše o majkama koje, eto, ne vole svoju djecu, koje su joj, samo da ne bude osude okoline, u stanju i iz nehata naštetiti.
