A diferencia de los otros libros, al inicio Robert Langdon se percibe como un pez fuera del agua porque se trata de un museo de arte moderno y sus conocimientos son limitados. En este libro se hace poco uso del intelecto de Langdon, lo que no estuvo bien, sobretodo en un libro de m谩s de 600 p谩ginas. Eso s铆, me pas茅 el libro cambiando de sospechoso y al final fue el que menos esperaba, demostrando que si la tecnolog铆a sigue avanzando tenemos un futuro realmente incierto por delante.

Even though this book has everything: struggle between religion and science, royalty and senior leaders of the most important religions involved in murders, the Anti Pope of Palmerian Church, a church completely unknown to me, much of the incredible and rare art by Gaud铆, even the ampersand plays an important role here, did not capture 100% of my attention and at times it was repetitive and heavy.
All the books in the Robert Langdon series begin the same: a tragic event in a place of importance in which Robert Langdon is usually present, there is a mystery to solve, race against time and a beautiful woman who helps him in the search.
Unlike the other books, at the beginning Robert Langdon is perceived as a fish out of water because it is a museum of modern art and his knowledge is limited. In this book little use is made of Langdon's intellect, which was not good, especially in a book of more than 600 pages. Yes, I passed the book changing suspect and in the end was the least expected, showing that if the technology continues to advance we have a really uncertain future ahead.

Even though this book has everything: struggle between religion and science, royalty and senior leaders of the most important religions involved in murders, the Anti Pope of Palmerian Church, a church completely unknown to me, much of the incredible and rare art by Gaud铆, even the ampersand plays an important role here, did not capture 100% of my attention and at times it was repetitive and heavy.
All the books in the Robert Langdon series begin the same: a tragic event in a place of importance in which Robert Langdon is usually present, there is a mystery to solve, race against time and a beautiful woman who helps him in the search.
Unlike the other books, at the beginning Robert Langdon is perceived as a fish out of water because it is a museum of modern art and his knowledge is limited. In this book little use is made of Langdon's intellect, which was not good, especially in a book of more than 600 pages. Yes, I passed the book changing suspect and in the end was the least expected, showing that if the technology continues to advance we have a really uncertain future ahead.

How can a mother forgive the person responsible for the death of her only son? And how can a mother be separated from her daughter for life? It's hard to put on any of those shoes. Both harsh and unfair situations.
Kenna is released from prison, not only the one imposed by law, but also the self-imposed one. She is filled with pain, remorse and fear that she will not be allowed to meet her daughter, who is in charge of her paternal grandparents. She arrives at the town where all started looking for at least meet her daughter Diem and, if they don't allow her to be a part of her life, leave and never come back.
Everyone makes it difficult for her, including Ledger, who despite admitting to himself that he knows Kenna is a good person, only at the end is he sticking up for her.
"I know she鈥檚 a good person. A good person who had one bad night. It happens to the best of us. The worst of us. All of us. Some of us are just luckier than others, and our bad moments have fewer casualties".
The book is long, repetitive, goes around the same thing too much and then ends abruptly in a few pages.

When I started reading it I just thought this seems to be worse than So not meant to be, but luckily I kept reading because it is the best book in the Cane Brothers series.
Obviously you have to go through the ridiculous situations that occur with Lia and her soon to be mother-in-law (aka The Beave), but it is worth it.
Of course we must not forget that it's erotic romcom, so there is no lack of all that crazy need of "I want her to be mine", "when you are mine", "I will not be complete until she is mine" and all the other needs of property, which are repeats in the 3 books of the series.
Even so, I really enjoyed the story of Ophelia and Breaker since it is one that shows what they say about fate "when it's for you, no matter difficulties or time, it will be yours"

Cuando lo comenc茅 a leer solo pens茅 este parece que ser谩 peor que So not meant to be, pero por suerte y segu铆 leyendo porque es el mejor libro de la serie Los Hermanos Cane.
Obviamente hay que pasar las situaciones rid铆culas que se dan con Lia y la suegra (alias La Castor), pero valen la pena.
Claro que no debemos olvidar que es romcom er贸tico as铆 que no falta todo aquella loca necesitad de "quiero que sea m铆a", "cuando seas m铆a", "no estar茅 completo hasta que sea m铆a" y todas las dem谩s necesidades de propiedad, que se repite en los 3 libros de la serie.
A煤n as铆, disfrut茅 mucho la historia de Ophelia y Breaker ya que es una muestra de aquello que dicen de que "cuando es para ti, aunque te quites y cuando no lo es, aunque te pongas".

Am I friends with JP Cane?
Ha! That's laughable.
Besides the fact that he鈥檚 adopted some far-fetched notion from the movie When Harry Met Sally that says men and women can't be friends and work together, it鈥檚 safe to say we're not friends. He's annoyingly loud, obnoxiously handsome, and has made an art out of poking all my hot buttons . . . multiple times a day.
So you can imagine how disgruntled I am when I not only have to fly to San Francisco with him for work, but stay in the same penthouse. Yup, we're sharing the same air, twenty-four-seven. We're talking full-fledged working roommates.
The man doesn't know what it means to wear a shirt, thrives off protein bars, and you guessed it, moans loud enough for people to believe he's Meg Ryan in a restaurant.
Spoiler Alert: I WON'T be having what he's having.
Tack on his continuous flirting and his polished good looks, and I'm caught staring down the barrel of a seductive temptation that makes it hard for me to sleep at night.
But guess who can control herself? This girl.
Because if there is one thing I know for certain, it's that JP Cane and I are so not meant to be.]]>

Nothing comparable to the story of Lottie and Huxley and, from what we know so far of Breaker, with high hopes to cap off the Cane Brothers series.
