]]> الجميلات النائمات 5936848 هذه الرواية تصوّر لنا سعي العجائز المصابين في رغباتهم . داخل منزل غامض ، يأتون لقضاء الليل إلى جانب مراهقة نائمة ، لكن الفتاة لا تستسلم لنوم طبيعي بل تنام تحت تأثير مخدر الليل كلّه دون توقف ،يدخل هؤلاء العجائز الغرف السرية للنائمات كأنُّهم يدخلون إلى معبد بعض الكاهنات .
و هناك إلى جانب الدمى الحيًّة ربما يستعيدون وهم شبابهم ، وهم حيوية ضائعة و مغامرة أخيرة .
بالنسبة لايغوشي ستكون الليالي الخمس التي أمضاها في غرف النائمات فرصة لتذكّر نساء حياته و الغرق في تأمّلات طويلة .

تستطيع فعلاً تخيل الجدران االمثقوبه بالرصاص و مشاهدة الأطفال الذين يسيل المخاط من انوفهم و تشعر بلذة استمتاعهم بتناول الأطعمه الغنيه بالدهن و اللحم و الأرز كما تشعر بالتعاطف مع جميع شخصيات القصه بدءً من بيبي غول الجده الام انتهاءً بليلى أصغر الإخوه وأحقرهم كونها انثى مروراً بشاكيلا العانس و منصور المراهق الثائر وصونيا الحبلى و شريفه التي هجرها زوجها والشخصيه المسيطره و التي لا يرد لها سلطان خان عائل الأسره الذي لا ترد له كلمه و لا تدخل الشفقه قلبه!!
كتاب رائع زاخر بالأحداث والشخصيات يكشف النقاب عن كثير من عادات الشعب الأفغاني و يجعلك تعيش مع نسائه داخل البوركا!!

شاهدت الفيلم أولاً ووقعت في غرامه وقرأت رواية أخرى للكاتب (شيكاغو)و أعجبتني حبكتها القصصية ولذلك كنت جدأ متشوقة لقراءة عمارة يعقوبيان و لكن للأسف اصبت بصدمة فالفيلم أفضل بكثير من الكتاب من حيث التفاصيل والحبكة ..أعتقد أنه أول مرة أعجب بفيلم أكثر من الكتاب.ربما لأني شاهدته أولاً

كنت لا أبالي بترهات كتلك الترهات. وكانت حجرة الصف مكتظة بأولاد يثيرون في نفسي الفضول فلا أكف عن مراقبتهم بكثير من الدهشة. غالبيتهم من الفرنسيين وإن كان في عدادهم بعض الأميركيين لأن ارتياد الـ"ليسه فرانسه"، في نظر أهل نيويورك، يمثل ذروة الترقي الاجتماعي. لم يكن بين التلاميذ أي بلجيكي آخر. ظاهرة خبرتها بشيء من الفضول في أنحاء أخرى من العالم: إذ لطالما كنت التلميذة البلجيكية الوحيدة بين أترابي، الأمر الذي جعلني عرضة لفنون متنوعة من السخرية كنت أنا أول المستمتعين بطرافتها.

كان ذلك في الفترة التي لم يشهد فيها دماغي أية أعطال. غذ لا تستغرقه عمليات ضرب الكميات الصماء أكثر من ثانية واحدة مع تعداد كسورها بنبرة تنم عن السأم لشدة يقيني من صحتها. أما دروس قواعد اللغة فكانت لي كشرب الماء، فالجهل صفة تجهلها نفسي، لأن الأطلس بطاقة هويتي واللغات اصطفتني برج بابلها.

كان من شأن ذلك أن يعمي بصيرتي بالغرور لولا وفائي لعدم اكتراثي بالتميز. وكان المدرسون يهللون لنباهتي سائلين المرة تلو المرة: هل أنت واثقة ن كونك بلجيكية الجنسية؟ فأجيب المرة تلو المرة مبددة عذاب الريبة في روعهم بلى، وأمي أيضاً بلجيكية، وأجدادي وأجداد أجدادي.

كان في هذا ما يزيد من حيرة مدرسي اللغة الفرنسية. فيما الصبية الصغار يرمقونني بنظرات الريبة كأنهم يقولون في سرهم: "لا بد أن في الأمر خدعة".والفتيات الصغيرات يرمقنني بنظرات معسولة. ذلك أن الأعراف النخبوية السائدة في المدرسة تغلب على مشاعرهم فضيلة الإقرار بالأمر الواقع، فيعلن، جهاراً، ومن دون لبس: "أنت الأفضل، فهل تقبلين أن تكوني صديقتي؟"

لقد بلغت آميلي نوثومب مرتبة أكثر الكتاب مبيعاً بسرعة، وصارت روايات تنتظر بشغف من القراء الذين تعرفوا إلى أعمالها. تسرج نوثومب بلغة شيقة سلسة، وتقول أشياء كثيرة بلغة قليلة.

تافه لا يستحق القرائه.. توقعت كتاب يتحدث عن تجربة شخص او رحلاته في الدول الاسلاميه. كيف تمت معاملته او كيف حلل وضعه في حدود العالم الاسلامي. وجدته مجرد سرد لافكار اشخاص منحرفين وتلك الافكار لا تقدم ولا تؤخر ولا تفيد على الاطلاق. اعتقد هدف الكتاب ككل هوه القول بان هناك شاذين في العالم العربي وهوه ما يمكن قوله في سطرين لا في كتاب!

At the beginning I was sympathetic with Olivia. I felt her pain and understood what she was trying to say. What I was unable to understand is, why was she feeling this angry toward the people she lived with, who looked to me liked they really cared and loved her. She was so racist to them, not the opposite as she claimed. I felt that she was and still injustice to the family who raised her. If she wanted to blame anybody she should of blamed her own mother who took all the choices for her. She is the one who Olivia should be angry with.
I read this for a qualitative research course. I think that the author did a great job in her ethnographic study. She spent more than 20 years documenting Olivia's story. This case study highlights some of the problems that live-in domestic maids suffer from. However, when you read the book, just keep in mind that this is one person's story and don't generalize it as the story of all live-in domestic help.
