Ok, I'm still going nuts over here, but I have to write this review. I'm so amped and awed by this glorious book that I'm literally shaking! Holly freaking hell! WOW!! I honestly just.....WTF!
My mind is filled with a million things I NEED to write and brag about the story but I literally can not articulate a proper thought let alone sentence, but I'm going to try!

This is by far the best book I've read in years... possibly ever. The way the story is paced and flows you think, "No!" "stand up" "man up" "put them big girl panties on" and then, they do. But the actions aren't so deliberate that it takes away from the story at all, in fact, they are so subtle and flawless that you're literally swiftly swept along, and then it's over. Seriously, this book, this amazing story has literally every emotion you could even experience wrapped so delicately and eloquently that every chapter is Christmas. And still, it was over too fast!

I always had a little thing for Rhys in the first book, but now I'm 200 percent in absolute love with him. Feyre never forgot, or let the reader forget his horrible and evil actions. And that's all I can say without giving anything away, BUT if you don't forgive him then, well then you need help!
A Court of Mist and Fury is so actioned packed, full of mystery, deception, tragedy and love, you would think there is no way to write another book, but somehow Sarah Mass has left enough crumbs and huge epic ending that the need for the next book is palpubale. The craving so strong that you might offer you first born for just a peek. Fortunately, my son is safe since he's already been brought into the world but all bets are off for the next kid should an offer be accepted by the book gods!

I wish I could write more, everything I'm feeling after devouring this story, but I simply can't without adding spoilers! So I leave you this....if you haven't started this series... THEN GET ON IT!!! THESE BOOKS ARE FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! Go now! Buy it! There you go, my good deed for the week :) Happy reading!]]>

Then last night I was like, I'm bored... what the hell. It looks short and it can fill the time before I have to quit procrastinating and go back to work in my shop.

I started at like 10pm or 11pm, just sucked me right in, the author did a fantastic job of capturing your interest while still building the world and characters. She literally didn't miss a beat. I look up from my book because my back was stiff, y'all. IT WAS 6:30AM I was in shock. I literally have not had that happen to me in so freaking long.

Big Girl Panties 16248211 New York Times bestselling author of That Thing Called Love

Holly turns out to be a natural in the gym, slimming down into a bona fide looker with killer curves—and a new kind of hunger. Before either of them can stop it, their training sessions lead to even more steamy workouts away from the gym. But can Logan commit to a woman who doesn't fit his ideal? Now that Holly's turning other men's heads, does she even need Logan anymore? Are they a couple built to last . . . or destined to fizzle?]]>
324 Stephanie Evanovich 0062224840 Alex 3 adult, physical-books-i-own This book is a Solid 2.5

I should probably start with this is my first chick lit book in over a year, and as rapidly a books and authors story telling change... this for all I know could be the next Oprah's book of the year. But let me be honest, I felt it to be more of a buffer for the next great book, almost like a funny and cute commercial but doesn't inspire me.

So I am happily 22 weeks pregnant and rapidly growing in weight and size, with that being said I thought this could be a fun book for me, plus I was shopping at books-a-million and it was on sale for $3.95. You know how it goes, pretty cover, bored and cheap. My kinda book date.

Okay, so I have decided to give this book and author a try. I also decided the best way to appreciate a good book or favorite genre is to mix it up once in a while. Needless to say, I will be going back to my comfort reads and stick to what I like for the next couple reads. Not to say this was a horrible book.

Big Girl Panties was new and it was good. Not great by any of my standards, but okay. The idea of a fluffy girl working her booty off (literally!) with a godly slash sexy trainer who looks like he poo's sunshine, and reading about the two of them building a relationship and seeing if it might turn into a romance, isn't exactly a new concept but a new point of view for me, making it's potential fresh and sparkling for me. Unfortunately by the end I felt a little disappointed at the missed opportunity for more depth and character development.

If I am completely honest, I can't say that I found the godly trainer to be all that engrossing. Really I found him shallow and uninteresting. Not enough back story I think, plus his actions and behavior were dull and mean. He is constantly judging Holly, who is literally doing everything she can to better herself, and at some parts of the book doing so only for him. He is uncaring and selfish, egotistical and overall just a boring and generic ass-hat.

Holly was an alright character who I felt grew a bit here and there, but her story was a little choppy and in the end she seemed to me like a bit if a sell out and needy. But she was funny, she provided plenty of laugh out loud moments. But other than that nothing really to report, nothing too special.

Bottom line fellow readers, this book is alright fairly generic and mainstream, but it wasn't a complete waste of time, the semi-humorous book I was expecting and so is the ending. Nothing to write home about, but nothing to make you feel like you wasted a night of reading. ]]>

This was a weird book, but not horrible. There was great potential but unfortunately wasn't met in my opinion. The world was bland and lacked enough description to really keep up. And the characters were weak, but mostly the relationships were boring and unfulfilled for the epic tale of snow white. I wont read the rest of the series but like I said it wasn't horrible, so if your bored you can give it a try, just not my cup of tea. Review to come.

Nicholas wants to find out if she tastes as good as her pie, and this heir apparent is used to getting what he wants.

Dating a prince isn't what waitress Olivia Hammond ever imagined it would be.

There's a disapproving queen, a wildly inappropriate spare heir, relentless paparazzi, and brutal public scrutiny. While they've traded in horse drawn carriages for Rolls Royces, and haven't chopped anyone's head off lately, the royals are far from accepting of this commoner.

But to Olivia, Nicholas is worth it.

Nicholas grew up with the whole world watching, and now Marriage Watch is in full force. In the end, Nicholas has to decide who he is and, more importantly, who he wants to be: a King... or the man who gets to love Olivia forever.]]>

Blocked (Breakaway, #2) 34659101 He’s got every reason to be cocky . . . until a female cuts him down to size.

I’m Dallas Easton, the best goaltender in the league. I make a damn good living playing hockey, and with women falling at my feet wherever I go, why not enjoy it? I get whatever I want, whenever I want—that is, until I come across the one player who gets the best of me on the ice.

When I try to pummel the dude, all hell breaks loose. Imagine my surprise when the helmet comes off to reveal a woman underneath. And not just any woman, but the sexiest woman I’ve ever seen. Callie Davis is the complete opposite of the puck bunnies I usually go for, a good girl with sick moves and a selfless streak a mile wide. I need to make amends, but she dodges me at every turn. It doesn’t help that Callie’s brother hates my guts, or that my agent thinks she’s bad for my career.

But I could care less what they think. I can’t let our little run-in on the ice be the end of our story. Because when I set my sights on something, I won’t rest until I score.

Yes, they all had moments I wanted to throat punch them, but let us be honest if you hate a character's actions, or cringe at certain points, then the author is doing something right, because no one is perfect, especially fictional characters.

382 Helena Hunting Alex 1 adult I hate this! I don't like writing bad reviews, but I hate reviews that lie even more.

Which might have happened, since this book has an overall rating of 4.3 (baffling) I can almost see how an average of 3.3 would be a bit more realistic, still reaching though. In my opinion.

I guess I should start this review no matter how much it pains me to put down an authors work.

Pucked basically had no story, no character personality or even growth and development, and absolutely no real butterflies in the tummy romance. It also lacked any and all sorts of depth in both the story and the characters.

I can't figure it out, how a story with so much potential can tank so rapidly. I'm in love with sport romances, thanks to L.P Dover, but this book was just pitiful.
The world of hockey is portrayed with nothing more than male ego, adultery, scads of dirty sex (bathroom-stall dirty) and average IQ's that can only compete with dogs in heat. Not very impressive nor realistic.

This story is disappointing because I would have though that real hockey players not only have the appeal of a sexy rugged man but are also perceptive, bold and energetic guys who work as a team and have enough intellect to communicate on and off the ice.
They would have to be great under pressure and fast thinking to get out of situations on the ice, so I would think these tools could be utilized out of the rink as well. Unfortunately this book make it seem like they are only trained chimps who don't like to shower and hump anything and everything.

So, if your still interested, because you might not care about realism or even good writing in a sports book then I'm sorry to say that was only this icing on the cake. This book still lacks any substance in the romance department, though very few of the bedroom scenes could almost be steamy, they were often ruined with the dialog or descriptive writing.

I was so sick of hearing:

*Monster Cock (come on!)
*Never ending "Mouth F*cking) which is kissing. Ew. And weird. Also frequently used.

Just repetitive, dumb... and gross.

OH THERE'S MORE...

*Boob obsession, we get it you like her boobs.

*Vulgar, not sexy or even interesting vulgarity. It was the just random and gross. I understand sex talk and cussing and they doesn't usually affect me, but this chick used it on strangers and in the most idiotic times, like work, just a gross girl, not someone I think I would associate with for sure. In either book world or real world.

*The relationships are underdeveloped. And weird. The bestie, mother, step-dad and step brother. None of them were interesting or even complement the plot or story. I don't see the point in introducing characters if you aren't going to give them personalities or qualities that allows your reader to connect, or even ascertain the point to the existence other than fluff your pages. It was hard to stay cognitive through those parts as well.

Again I'm very sorry, I know this might seem harsh but I couldn't find many reviews that were very accurate about this book and I guess that made it more important to rant about this book. Like maybe the people out there who enjoy substance with their steamy reads should know that this offers none.

In conclusions, I hated this story and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Waste of time, and now when I hear the word Beaver I literally want to throw up. It's a trigger word now. And I'm from Oregon, where our college teams are the Ducks and Beavers. Grrrr ]]>

I hate this!

This is my first Molly Harper book and I have to admit the lithe and easy plot was nice, like a glass of water on a warm day, not a glass of sweating lemonade in a heat wave, but still subtle and comfortable.
It was sweet, funny and sometimes a bit eccentric, but really a easy going plot. A fun love story than you see from a mile away, but it's ok because it was still yummy. The private moments (smexy time) wasn't over whelming or all consuming which was a nice change of pace in the adult paranormal world.

Connor is a ruff, sexy mans man and completely blush worth while Mo is a feisty life infused character with a great sense of humor and will have you chuckling, giggling and out right laughing along with her dialog.

A story well, done I recommend this if you want something soft (not young adult though) that flows. Just a easy going read to relieve us from all the intense stories we often find in most genres now. ]]>

What a fun story, it was a quick and easy read for me with lot's of laugh out loud moments. It wasn't the normal passion, angst impending doom looming everywhere normal book I tend to fall into, and for that I'm thankful. I needed a good, quick pick me up. With a great dialog and spunky characters it was a great change of pace, but I am ready for a more challenging read with a more passionate story line and maybe even a little more depth. BUT this was the perfect buffer :)

Holy hell talk about ecstasy! This book was stuffed full with passion and angst. I ENJOYED & HATED this book. Frustrated overwhelmed me at time, I felt myself saying ‘come on and do the dirty already And holy cow, when they finally do **fans herself** brace yourself laddies, lots of emotion and passion in this story.

The hate goes more with the ending and the fact that Cat can't get past being half vampire. He constant inner dialog with accepting who she is and how Bones feels about her is exhausting sometimes. I kept screaming 'if you don't want him, give him to me!' then had to remind myself 'just a story Alex, just a story' but make no mistake, Bones is the perfect fantasy. He had me giggling, blushing and down right fanning myself.

If you are looking for a story pact with heat, almost electrifying and romance with so much passion you feel like shaking your fist at god for not sending you your own Bones then this is the story for you.

I always know when I read a truly awesome love story because I always storm into my husbands office or personal space and practically scream 'why can't you be more like (insert lovers name here)' and then huff and storm away. Though he has grown used to this behavior and often Google's who he should emulate for that week, I know that the story is amaze balls! This is one of those stories... 259 Janelle Stalder 1491043032 Alex 5 dystopia, magic, adult Switch starts off fast, almost with a vengeance. You are sucked into the story the second you meet the main character miss charlotte/Dinah. Janelle Stalder paints a new world with such finesse you practically see it like a movie in your mind, but she also gifted us with a smooth transition. Instead of throwing the dystopian plot at you in one hurried over puffed up explanation, we get little pieces here and there enough to make sure you’re not lost but leaving you craving more.

This is a dystopian story with action, adventure and love. Plenty of twist and turns all through out the story line. On the last page I found myself shaking my nook, NO, this can't be it! But knowing that more stories will join the New World Series actually made the suffering more bearable.

Charlotte/Dinah is a kick ass lead character and full of strength and tenacity that you wish you saw more of in the paranormal and dystopian world. Janelle kicked it out of the park, or is it hit? Oh well she knocked the crap out of it! Just an awesome story.
With an amazing female heroine you of course need you your sexy male leads which Pete is definitely that guy. His story is that of an admirable one, and the personality he develops through the book blossoms into a strong, caring and sexy male lead! There are more characters in switch and each with their own life and stories and yet still incredibly easy to follow. I think each character was built and developed very well through out the story, but still I love me some Pete!

I want everyone to know this is an adult book, I couldn't really tell until the middle of the story, but once the adult come forth it stands out, and proud. I'm not a huge fan of adult books, and tend to skip over the blush worthy parts but Switch wasn't bad at all, in fact most scenes were only about two-three paragraphs, the longest one being about a page I think. The hot steamy parts peppered throughout the story are definitely drool worthy and will make you fall for your leading man Pete even more.

Basically my fellow readers and bloggers a great book, full of trials and tribulations, fear, mystery, action, love and most of all an addictive story line that makes it difficult if not impossible to tear yourself away from! I give this book 5 stars, and hope you all enjoy it, by far one of the best arch reads I have had the pleasure of reading and reviewing! ]]>

Alexandra Riley’s day starts out like any other in her normal, predictable world. Then a tall, dark stranger bursts into her father’s garage and shatters the illusion. In one shocking moment, she discovers why she’s been feeling hot, restless—she’s the half-breed daughter of a legendary werewolf and is a much-sought-after prize.

Joshua Striker, enforcer in charge of protecting the alphas of the Wolf Creek pack, has come to take Alex home. Nothing more, nothing less. From the first moment he sees her, she becomes the one thing he can’t afford—a distraction from his duty. A weakness he doesn’t want—but can’t resist needing.

If only keeping her safe was as simple as fending off males on the hunt for a mate. Through city streets to the mountains of North Carolina, Alex and Joshua have to evade those who don’t want their pure bloodlines tainted with human DNA, as well as bounty hunters who think the only good werewolf is a dead one.

What Joshua and Alex can’t outrun is the passion that flares between them—or the choice Alex must eventually face. Whether to claim her inner wolf, or forfeit her chance to claim Joshua as her own.]]>

If like me you love to read a good book filled with great dialog and has a definitive story and all consuming plot, don't waste your time. I disliked this book from the beginning, but being someone who can't start a book with out finishing it I was tortured, tormented and beaten into boredom for countless hours that I will never get back.

I feel bad this book is getting such a bad review from me because I often try to see the good in everything, but I feel like for whatever reason it is my duty to make sure everyone knows this story for its truths.

Even though I hated it, I must take some fault because I didn't even read the description, and solely picked this "story" (if you can call it that) based on the cover.

I personally think that this book could have been decent had it been more thought out. I felt that either I was trying to catch up, like I missed something or begging the author to move on (often the sex scenes), overall it was executed very poorly, everything in it!

The characters were very spiritless, stale, dry and flat and lacked feeling, poise and life in basically every aspect but especially in the cognitive behavior as well as dialog. I was absolutely disconnected throughout the entire book.
There was way too much 'sex', and even if I could enjoy reading about it as frequently as it was poured into the story, it would still be boring and inaccurate (losing your V-card in this book was like stubbing your toe)and the rest of the sex lacked any truth. It would be fine if it was fantasy and had steam and heat but it lacked even that.

Although I love to rant and rave I know I should stop, if I had written a book it would be painful to read such reviews and I apologize for my blatant honestly but anything else would be a complete lie and I don't write reviews for the author to feel better about themselves, I write them so readers know what to expect and wish I had read them before wasting time on this when I could have found a book with true characters and a story line.

To begin I would like to state this is a ADULT book not YA as I had thought. With that being said if you're a fan of boring, repetitive sex scenes that you end up skipping because either they're too much or just don't make any sense, this book is for you.

This book was full of so much personality, the characters (some scarier than others) made it a never ending marathon of a read, I literally couldn't put it down, unless to fan myself and collect my thoughts before diving in for more! The characters all had there own personalities and made this book a smooth and easy to read, I could almost see the story unravel in my head *blush* although some were more on the fantasy side. It was raw, full of power and rich action scenes. Yet it was still pure and had vulnerability imbedded into the story line.

This book is a must for anyone (over the age 18) who wants to read about love, action, lust, ambition, desire, passion, vampires and the bad ass boy who puts most men to shame. It also has a strong independent female that meets all the requirements for a leading lady.
I absolutely loved this book and I'm wanting to go right onto the next book. Which with any luck will happen this weekend, I don't think I can go to long without knowing what happens next!

If you're planning to read this book, and for petes sake you should, make sure to have a fan and snacks handy because you need the cool down effect and the snacks to make you feel better that this is just a story and that we can't go and find us one of our own "brothers" to devour... oh and another addition to my loves of this story, the clique, community, comradeship, fellowship, fraternity, kinship and just plain family in this book is subtle but beautiful!
Happy reading ya'll!]]>

Whew, after a cold shower and some breathing exercises I think I am finally ready to write me review. Wow, this book was a force to be reconciled with. It had everything! Love, action, amazing twists and a phenomenal plot and of course the lust and heat factor was amazing and new for me. OK, I have something to divulge I have always put this book off because I thought it would be just like reading a porno and prefer my books pg-13, and yes there was plenty of adult rating material that made me question if I was missing out on something in my own love life, it wasn't raunchy or disgusting, it wasn't perverted or crude and vulgar. The scenes weren't that long and they were full of passion and other adultly only wonders. So I openly admit I might have been wrong... okay I was definitely wrong! Geesh!

I liked this book a lot, loved the action. It was a little bit on the sexual side for me, I tent to like books with less sex and more romance, but over all it was a great read.
