Experiment in Terror is by far one of my all-time favorite series. We have seen growth in characters, the supernatural world unfolding and expanding slowly, there have been more developments, more obstacles, more steam, more spook and more LOVE. I can’t get enough!! Come Alive takes Dex and Perry to one of my favorite places, New Orleans and they get a hold lot more then they bargained for! There were some frustrating moments where I wanted to smack everyone on involved but I love that they have very real flaws. Dex, Perry, Maximus, voodoo, haunted houses, witches, zombies, oh my!

Honestly Ashes to Ashes scared the crap out of me! Until Ashes to Ashes, Dead Sky Morning was the creepiest book of the series. There isn't much to say that would be a spoiler so I am off to the final, Dust to Dust.

My daughter asked me to read The Witch of Blackbird Pond; she is currently reading this for her 5th grade literary circle. This book keep me up all night, I couldn't put it down. I LOVED Sweet Thing and didn't think Nowhere but Here could top it, I was wrong. What I love about Renee's books is the self discovery that happens with the heroines, it is realistic, frustrating, moving and powerful.
