I was allocated this book to read for a review group. This is my usual genre of choice so was looking forward to reading this jovel. I did enjoy it, the writing was catchy and entertaining but a few minor issues prevented me giving five stars. I have no issue whatsoever with profanities however i felt that it was a little overdone here and came across as though it was used more for the shock factor than to enhance the story. The novel was a little slow to get going however the author managed to write in such a way that my attention was captured long enough to continue. I was a little dissapointed at the ending, almost felt unfinished and a little rushed.

Allocated this book to review and whilst it is not the sort of book i would usually read, i did find the writing style captivating. Found the plot a little confusing at times and some of the characters difficult to relate to. The flashback scenes were well written and compelling but tended to over shadow the rest of the story in my opinion. Glad i persevered with the novel although i would be unlikely to read others in this genre as it is not an area i particularly enjoy reading
