دَرَسَ الإمام الغزالي فلسفتهم دراسة المتبصر ، ثم شرع في نقدها ونقضها ، ولكنه يعلِّمنا بتآليفه طريقة العلماء الحكماء ؛ وهي الاطلاع على آرائهم : غثها وسمينها ، وصحيحها وسقيمها ، ثم غربلتها وتصفيتها والرد عليها .

ولا بد من الانتباه إلى أمرٍ على غاية من الأهمية : ألا وهو الانتباه إلى أن كتاب « مقاصد الفلاسفة » هو مقدمة أو كالمقدمة لكتاب « التهافت » ، فلا بد من قراءة الكتابين على الترتيب ؛ لأنه ذكر في مقدمة « المقاصد » : أنه سُئل عن تأليف كتابٍ يكشف عن تهافت الفلاسفة ، ولا مجال لذلك ولا مطمع لما هنالك إلا بعد التعريف بمقاصدهم وبيان معتقدهم ؛ فإن الوقوف على فساد المذاهب قبل الإحاطة بمداركها محال ، بل هو رمي في العماية والضلال .

فشرع في بيان كلامهم بعبارة وجيزة ، تشتمل على حكاية مقاصدهم من وجهة نظر أصحابها من خلال علومهم الأربعة ، التي هي معتمدهم ؛ وهي : الرياضيات ، والإلهيات ، والمنطقيات ، والطبيعيات .

أما الرياضيات . . فلم يتعرض لها ؛ لعدم مخالفتها ، فلا فائدة للاشتغال بإيرادها ، وأما الإلهيات . . فأكثر عقائدهم على خلاف الحق ، والصواب نادر فيها ، وأما المنطقيات . . فأكثرها على منهج الصواب ، والخطأ نادر فيها ، وأما الطبيعيات . . فالحق مشوب فيها بالباطل ، والصواب مشتبه بالخطأ ، وسيتضح البيان والرد وكشف العوار في كتاب « التهافت » .

نبذة النيل والفرات:
يعد هذا الكتاب " العواصم من القواسم" الذي ألفه عالم من كبار أئمة المسلمين بياناً لما كان عليه أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من صفات الكمال، وإدحاضاً لما ألصق بهم وبأعوانهم وبإخوانهم من التابعين لهم بإحسان، يصلح على صغرة لأن يكون صيحة من صيحات ألحق توقظ الشباب المسلم إلى هذه الدسيسة التي دسّها عليهم أعداء الصحابة ومبغضوهم ليتخذوها نموذجاً لأمثالها من الدسائس، فيتفرّغ الموفقون إلى الخير منهم لدراسة حقيقة التاريخ الإسلامي، واكتشاف الصفات النبيلة في رجاله.

والقاضي أبو بكر بن العربي مؤلف " العواصم من القواصم" أمام من أئمة المسلمين، ويعتبره فقهاء مذهب الإمام مالك أحد أئمتهم المقتدى بأحكامهم؛ وهو من شيوخ القاضي عياض مؤلف كتاب "الشفا" في التعريف بحقوق المصطفى وكتابه "العواصم من القواصم" من خيرة كتبه ألفه سنة 536 وهو في دور النضوج الكامل، بعد أن امتلأت الامصار بمؤلفاته وبتلاميذه الذين صاروا في عصرهم أئمة يهتدي بهم.

]]> 17263935 لم يتدخل طرابلسي في المادة التاريخية بل اوردها كما هي وإن بقدر من الاضاءة والتحليل. الا انه تدخل احيانا في اسماء الشخصيات التاريخية فكان يترجم الاسم من الفرنسية مثلا الى العربية وفقا لمعناه مكررا الاسم العربي حيث تدعو الحاجة.
وقد تحدث طرابلسي عن عمله في شكل يوضح اسلوبه الذي انتهجه فيه والقائم على ايراد احداث مختلفة كبيرة او فردية ذات اهمية عامة سنة بعد سنة.
يقول: تتنقل شخصيات هذه الحوليات عبر البحر الابيض المتوسط شرقه وغربه خلال القرن التاسع عشر.
يبدأ التدوين مع اطلالة موسم الحرير في جبل لبنان ويختتم مع افتتاح قناة السويس في مصر. مثل خيوط حرير فوق نول تروح وتجيء أحداث تلك الفترة فتتسلك باللحمة والسدى مصائر افراد وجماعات وبلدان وأمصار وأقوام وشعوب.
تتداخل ألوان وأصباغ وتفترق ألوان وأصباغ وتتصالب خيوط وترتخي خيوط وتنقطع خيوط لتنوصل خيوط. وتنعقد قطب ظاهرة للعيان لتختفي قطب عن العيان تعمل عليها جميعا انامل نساج لا يرحم يسميه البعض "القدر" والبعض الاخر "الاستعمار" ويكتفي ثالث بأن يقول عنه انه "التاريخ".
