I love Shari Lapena's writing style and have read all her books since "The couple next door". "What have you done?" also hasn't dissapointed me at all. Great story telling, enjoyed the multiple POV and even though the twist at the end was a little predictable, overall it was a bingeable satisfying read as always.

Great explanation and breakdown of how our good and bad habits are formed in the first place - very eye-opening. Lots of practical advice that can be easily implemented in your everyday life. Interesting view on the definition of success and instant vs. long-term gratification. There was a lot of references to sport or celebrities habits and even having an assistant do sth for you or your personal trainer, which I had to do an eye roll while reading this, and the 1 star is taken away for that reason. Overall, this book is highly recommended to anyone on a path of self-improvement!

Finally finished this book and I rarely give a rating under 3 stars, but can't give it more than 2.5...I would have DNFd it at least twice if it wasn't for my book club. For some reason it was just so boring around half way through. And I love books, love reading, so a book about a Bookshop at Christmas time- should be perfect for me. This book was very different, unsettling, creepy.. First part of the novel has not pulled me in as much, but in the second half and especially the last third, I was totally invested. It was a rollercoaster ride and I didn't know what was going on! I've read some other books written by this author and enjoyed them, but I'm glad I decided to go back and try reading this one, tempted by the good reviews. It was absolutely unputtdownable for me in the best way, and the twists towards the end were unexpected and original. The characters were well written and every little detail was important for the final execution. Definitely recommended read for fans of domestic drama thrillers!
