Well, the idea is very original, but the first part was better, I think. At the point where Tally discovered herself in the middle of prehistoric people was definitely not needed. And the fact that she just forgot David and fell in love with Zane, having no more feelings for David at all, was, like, really-really strange. Things don't happen this way.
Anyways, the book was quite okay, but the end started to get a bit boring.

Kuigi alguses oli lugu äärmiselt huvitav ja ma jätkuvalt naudin igasugu pisikesi vihjeid ja detaile, mida autor seoses revolutsiooni, poliitika ja meelelahutusmeediaga seoses kõikjale sisse põimib, oli mingi hetk Näljamängude kirjeldamine minu jaoks ammendunud. Kui algul oli Katnissi emotsioonikaugus ja äärmuslik ratsionaalsus mõistetav ja huvitav, muutus see ühel hetkel minu jaoks lihtsalt koormavaks ja tuimaks. Saan aru, et tüübil oli PTSD ja kõiksugu muid jamasid, aga mul oli raske lugeda tema edasi-tagasi pendeldavat mõtteprotsessi. Ühel hetkel hakkas teosest puuduma mingisugune sügavam inimlikkus ja emotsionaalsus, mis paneks empatiseerima ja kaasa elama. Kõik läks hästi tuimaks ja halliks. Jällegi - saan aru, et tegelaste meeleseisund ja ümbrus on ka parasjagu haiglased, aga oleksin tahtnud tegevust rohkem nautida ja sellesse sisse elada.

Sellegipoolest on lugu jätkuvalt väga leidlik, huvitav ja omanäoline. Kolmandat osa praegu lugema aga enam ei tõmba.
