A lot of my friends recommended this to me as a solid new series (that wasn't too cheesy) to try on kindle unlimited, so I decided to give it a try and it did not disappoint! Although it is not perfect, it is definitely very promising.

� THIS NEW WORLD and the magic system in it is so elaborate and well thought out. I love all the different realms, their unique magical abilities, and the dynamic between the Descended and the Humans is very well-written too.

I read this book a while ago - I didn‘t have super high expectations but ended up pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! The situation Misery was in was very unique and I enjoyed how the dynamic between the Vampyres and the Werewolves was set up. The romance was cute too, although a little too much drama towards the end, but I still enjoyed it.

Overall, definitely looking forward to more in this genre from Ali Hazelwood! I think I like it more than her STEM novels so far
