This was such a beautiful read. My favourite from this series and probably my favourite book from Meghan. I received this as an ALC, and let me tell you, the voice actors did an incredible job. I smiled, I laughed and I cried while reading this one. Ryland will always be Uncle Dad and Gabby will always be such a sweet soul. The epilogue was everything I needed and more!! I need a novella on them raising Mack. I want to see how they handled her first heartbreak so badly. I can’t wait for you all to read this one in the new year!

This was my favourite book from the series. I really loved Grace and Sawyers's characters. I liked how Grace had her own passion and her own interests I felt like it gave a lot of depth to her character. This book I both loved and hated. Cade was one character I was looking forward to reading about. I loved the plot however I did not like how the FMC pushed her religion onto him. I felt like the way she pushed him was way too fast, and he was not prepared to meet his trauma head-on. I struggled to like her because she shared his "secret" with everyone and their mother. She knew she shouldn't yet she told like 6 different people. I also didn't like how she just expected to enroll the kiddos into Sunday school without talking to her partner. That is something that should be discussed. Cade and Ruthie's relationship is what saved this book for me. It was so cute!

Wow. I cannot believe it has taken me this long to read this series by Catherine, and I will be kicking myself for not reading it sooner because I think this series will be one of my all-time favourite comfort reads. The depths of the characters and the storyline are truly unmatched. I haven't felt this way about a romance series since Boys of Tommen. I absolutely devoured this book from start to finish. The pacing, storyline, and characters, it was all just so good. I loved seeing the whole picture unravel. It felt like each chapter we were given more clues into what was happening in this world. The villains were SOOO good. My emotions were everywhere. I was angry, I was sad, I was devastated, I was laughing and I was loving the chemistry between Saeris and Kingfisher. Even when they hated each other the tension they had between one another was off the chains.

I loved the ending in this book and I think it set up book 2 wonderfully. I’m excited to see where this series goes because this was a strong first book to what I can only imagine will be a great series.

Words cannot even begin to explain how this series makes me feel. The characters are so so so complex and the world building is UNREAL. My heart broke for Dianna. I would probably have handled the heartbreak the same way. The way Samkiel never gives up on her, always defends her, and protects her had me kicking my feet and screaming into the book.

I won't lie, I struggled to read this one. At the same time, I feel like the mmc was the most realistic mafia male I've ever read about. Misogynistic, controlling etc. it was a very mafia brand of him. The perfect second book to end this duet. I had so much fun buddy reading this with one of my book friends. I absolutely fell in love with this world and all of the magic in it.
