OH, LORD! This book ate! Queen Taherah Mafi let no crumbs! Alright, so this book is now my new obsession. It will be re-read several times before the last book comes out on Feb 6, 2024! These Infinite Threads: actual enemies to lovers with daggers and rival kingdoms, marriage proposals, tension, truth or lie?, tears, MAJOR ANGST, slow burn, love triangle?

This book is for the people who want ACTUAL enemies to lovers plot with great action, politics, a love triangle, warring kingdoms, and fast-paced storytelling with great banter and dialogue. OBVIOUSLY, if you've read Shatter Me, then you know the type of male characters (AARON WARNER) that Taherah writes and so you should definitely be picking up this duology today!

MY STAR OF THE BOOK WAS CYRUS and I will not be taking any notes. I also did not think this is where I would end up by the end of the book, but we shall learn more in the next book. Its a crime that these books are only 400 pages because they flow effortlessly, I breezed through this book in a day. THAT is how you write a great fantasy with romance! The pacing was great and the chemistry between the characters was so investing! I was all in and I loved every page!
