If you enjoy series by Laura Thalassa (Four Horsemen Series) and Ruby Dixon ( Ice Planet Barbarians and Fireblood Dragons) then you will enjoy this. Very similar story style except with an actual monster. The series seems to also progress similarly with each book being a different couple and very little plot movement. I enjoy Orpheus� wnd Reia’s story, spice was amazing. I wish the plot had been as good as the spice and that this wasn’t a couple series, more angst would have made it top tier. I’m excited to see what Opal writes in the future and how she progresses as an author

Excellent read! I enjoyed how different each of the men were, and I liked our heroine. My only complaint was we were told how bad ass Arawyn is and I really hoped to be shown instead of told. I wanted to see her bad assery before she was protected by her males. But otherwise, awesome story and I’m excited about the next book.

I was sucked into this authors writing style when reading the torment duet, although I disliked book two, I loved book one and enjoyed her writing style and how well she could weave a story that illicited emotions I wasn’t expecting, she did a great job of showing rather than telling with Mina and Shays story, something even the most seasoned authors seem to struggle with. However she seemed to have lost her spark with Ashes. This book felt like a terrible attempt at re imagining the high school reverse harems we all know and love. It fell flat. It was incredibly predictable by chapter three, it was also boring, how was their so much writing yet so little plot, while also not having spice? I think their were two scenes in the whole book. I could Atleast understand the missing plot if their was smut, but their wasn’t. This was also labeled as a dark romance, it was not a dark romance. If you’re a fan of dark romance and reverse harems, you will be very dissapointed by this authors attempt at it.
