We have threads open for our monthly group read, but participation in them is completely optional. We don't really post assigned reading and questions, but we do ask that you try and finish the book in the month. I will be leading the American Gods discussion, and I plan on starting the book on Saturday, so look for questions starting the first of January.

Because I went through a couple years of doing the same thing, I have tons of free books that are more than likelyy not very good. My attitude has changed: I won't be reading any more books just to satisfy a challenge...I have to be getting something out of the actual book. Maybe one of these days I'll start a process of going through all freebies and doing a read a few pages of each, deleting ones I don't like as I go from my Kindle. It's a thought, anyway!

Laura avery | 181 comments WOOP..Exciting. I signed up for 24 originally, but did that in 1.5 months got stuck in decided to be mad and set it to 200 , but lost it about summer time. Ended up with 94 in the end. The most I Have read. I am hoping to clear my book shelves this year . (Although I know my mum has another box for me, and I still want to read classics from 1001 book list) So many books not enough time!

Have a great New year all xx

I actually read my entire 2011 Holiday Haul this year...I gave myself that exact goal, I was fed up of having carted 50 books home from the States and just leaving them on my shelves!

Cassandra | 5832 comments As you've probably all seen for yourselves, Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ is giving a lot of error pages today. Expect the archiving process to take longer than usual today/tomorrow!

message 59: by Mindy (new)

Mindy Jones (mindyrecycles) Ah glad it's not just me with the errors. I guess a lot of people made reading resolutions. Yay!

Winter (winter9) | 4962 comments Me four. Honestly it can only get better. Lets hope for a smoother year filled with magical reading experiences!

message 61: by Pamela (new)

Pamela | 91 comments Quick question: How do I go back to a comment I've already made and add to it? For example if I want to go back and add books to a challenge as I read them. I have noticed that a lot of people do this but have researched and cannot find a topic on how exactly this is done. I feel like this will be a great way with keeping up with my progress on challenges.
I greatly appreciate any feedback on this question!! Hope everyone is having a fantastic rest!

Lisa Grønsund | 6163 comments Hey Pamela,
Not sure if this answers your question but I use the "edit" button at the bottom of the comment box :)

message 63: by Pamela (new)

Pamela | 91 comments Thanks! I will try that.

message 64: by Pamela (new)

Pamela | 91 comments Lisa,
This may sound strange but I'm not showing an edit button on any of my comment boxes. I'm fairly new at the social part of goodreads but I have tried everything. Maybe one day I will figure it out. Any other suggestions are welcome.

No problem :)
If you are updating your progress on a challenge thread as well, it's best if you post a new message so the challenge leader knows to update your progress :)

message 66: by Pamela (new)

Pamela | 91 comments I have been on my phone using goodreads. I will get on my main computer in a bit and see if the edit appears on there.

message 67: by Kara (new)

Kara (karaayako) | 3984 comments Pamela, yes, if you use the app, you can't edit. We've brought this up to Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ many times and hope they add that functionality. If you use a browser to access the Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ website, you should be able to edit. Thanks!

Fictionophile (fictionophile) | 3 comments Was just wondering why there is NO graphic attached to the 2017 Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ Challenge widget.
There was a graphic in previous years.

If I understood correctly you mean the logo? It's because we have a masthead contest. Our members send in their creative suggestions and then we have a poll. Here's the link :
