Half way through it. It was slow at first. I wasn't at all sure I was going to like it. It's drawing me in now. I haven't seen the movie. Interested to see where it's headed.

This is one of my favourite book/movie combos. I think it's one of the truest adaptations I've seen and also, Cunningham is just a literary genius. I need to reread this at some point this year!

It was definitely a book I liked more as time went on. I gave it 4/5 initially but it's one I look back on so much that I really ought to boost it up to 5 because I do just love it & I recommend it to so many people!

I haven't seen the film (although why I haven't, I'm not sure since I love the actresses in it and it looks like something I'd enjoy), so I'll be unbiased about the book with respect to that. This one has been on my to-read radar for a while too.

I think maybe since I work for a group of psychiatric acute-care hospitals, this was too much like my daily world to find intruiging.
