First Flight

Making you think or just scream at the screen.

Do Cartoons need words for extra value ?
Is a picture really worth a thousand words ?
Is that a thousand ships that Helen has just launched.

Forward the Frontier

Do spelling errors annoy you ! Where were the proof readers

Ice wept !!!!
I am Spartacus.
Free Nelson Mandela
Few words much memory and provocation

I though about borrowing the holo deck from the Enterprise so we could join in our favourite stories.

your sleepy hostess here, lolloing about, waiting for orders, listening to mansa sissoko and Jamie stone from Africa to Appallachia
Ice laugh!

Otherwise we need to congregate under the behemoths of commerce now that Skype is wrapped up in Seattle.

That being impossible, my next favorite place is in bed.
Tunnel vision infers a narrowing of focus, which occers but because of the peculiar nature of the book, which acts as a lens, or a doorway, there is a refraction and a widening of focus to allow the world of the book to unfold, allowing the reader to step in to the opening the writer gives us. Woouln't you agree?
I have just got up for the day to find it blanketed with snow. Ice Bear, you have have been muttering in my sleep. Where is everybody? I did try to convince you we needed a passeger list. Will we all converge today or is that why trip so long? You figure that it will take about 2 years to achieve?

Can someone move Gozo next to the Alps ?

Just switching to auto pilot for a few hours, have fun uncovering my random thought patterns.

Time for dinner. I ordered the Kosher, low-salt meal. And can I have a new headset please!?

(not too mention the more usual envy of lolling in les Jardins in the south of France) but there it is, I have to get to work. Will check back with interest to see what/how the mix evolves.
Jim and BB, you two know each other? See if you can entice Ian and Paul to join in.

I read two pages of The Recognitions before nodding off. I slept uneasily as if I knew I was running late for a plane. I was.
I've woken up and it's tomorrow, 1 March.
The Bieb's birthday is today. Can he drink legally now?
When I arrive on time for my plane, I prefer a front aisle seat.
I slide down the tray table as soon as the seat belt sign has been turned off, place my analogue book on it and get my pencil ready.
I'm ready to read.

Oh, Brian, you know you only have to rub my bottle.

Kinkajou, what did you finally settle on to read?
It must be midnight along the meridian that takes in Ice Bear, Jim, and Paul B and Jackie?
Gundula, did you move? Or am I mistaken you live up North?
on the east coast, about 9pm? Ellie, Kinkajou, HRO must be still pottering about...?/
BB and Melissa are in the same time zone, Ian in a time zone of his own...
Hey out there, I'm rubbing the bottle!

since that has been the driving force behind my reading choices over the last two years, May I offer a couple of approaches. One is to compile a list of books you've always put off reading, then read them in the order that suggests itself.
Another method is to compile a list of the authors you've disdained to read, even including a couple who are repulsive to you, and read at least one or preferably two books of each one.
You could also join some reading groups and read what they tell you. You could also just read everything your friends recommend :-)

there may be some irregularites for a patch, then smoother sailing, they say. http://www.goodreads.com/blog/show/34...
I shall go attend to dinner and check in again later.
I am still hoping for some kind of convergance:-)

Space and Music holds my thoughts as I turn off the auto pilot.
And will recap on those open questions.
Thank you for travelling.

Its interesting how sunshine enters our preferential reading locations, even though it is often too bright and can melt the glue binding the pages.
Walking upside down in the sky I see the satellites passing by.

Ground Control to Major Tom, your circuit's dead, there's something wrong!
Can you hear me Major Tom???
It's hard to read in the direct sunlight, as you say, but if you can find shade that still gives you good light from the sky, it's really wonderful!!
