Although this shows Rooney's intimate understanding of grief, need, love and lack of communication and ability to walk in another's shoes in her characters, I found it really hard going. In some ways it was a new and fresh take, in others, a bit heavily laden with symbolism.

Thorough insight into the power of the fifth estate, the ruthelessness and greed of the media owners from traditional media barons to social media billionaires. The first chapter almost put me off, but understand the author wanted to celebrate his victory over the Murdochs. Interesting story, good pace well written and a good twist at the end as love triumphs as it should.
