bookshelves: disappointed
Stopped listening to the audiobook at 2 hours-something.

Well, this was disappointing. I remember reading the third book in this series years ago and absolutely loved it so I decided to get back to this series and got myself this one. With the way this book started, I knew this had to be written in the same time as 50 shades and I was right.

The reason I stopped is because it's a 9 hour book and I'm 2 hours into and I have listened to 3-4 sex scenes already (I'm not saying that's a bad thing, it's just not what I wanted to read) - I needed more story and so far, there was no story. Listened to the audiobook

This was an interesting read. Interesting characters - and definitely refreshing from all the new adult or young adult books out there - I appreciate that authors recognise characters can belong to different age groups - so thank you there Ms. Zapata!

Given how much this book is hyped, I was a tiny bit disappointed. I mean the story is nice - nothing that wowed me but it was definitely different from what I have read so far.
