4.5 ⭐️. Almost incredible. Provides lots of ground for meditation on certain theological concepts, takes itself seriously, but also features intricate battle scenes (loved Wirr and the Oathstone) and sentimental moments. The epilogue shattered me. If it weren’t for certain characters and plot points that seemed to be abandoned because the author couldn’t fit them in, it would be perfect.
