I feel like I‘ve just run a marathon.

This is the most delicious story on revenge. 🤌🏼 Edmond Dantès doesn‘t go about merely ending the lives of his enemies, no. He takes them apart bit by bit and it‘s glorious. He‘s such a petty king and his plan is SO insanely elaborate.

Truth be told I had no idea that a story on revenge would need this many pages, but I get it now. It‘s a liiiiittle 🤏🏼 bit too long. But our dude Edmond has zero fucks left to give and comes up with the craziest plan ever, which I can appreciate.

This entire book is also SO incredibly dramatic, a Victorian woman is clutching her pearls in her grave somewhere.

Edmond was such an adorable youth and after spending his twenties in a prison, he‘s ready for his villain arc in his thirties. That seems so relatable lol. "
