"Really reveals what the climate crisis enforces on us on a micro scale. This is why it’s a hyper object (shoutout Morton); the crisis deconstructs the global infrastructure and also our minds, our ontologies, even down to our physical cells (thanks microplastics and nuclear warfare).

Also, you could really read the Irish accent which I enjoyed. There’s some sections in the middle that take the form of a screenplay, and I really liked the creativity of that. It also really worked, the structure mirrored the content perfectly.

Last thing I’ll say is I went to Caoilinn’s book reading and discussion in my town and she was so wonderful and intelligent and had great insights into her own book (obviously) and also how storytelling works in the Anthropocene. Super cool."
